Lekiboboe: Really, in that case do consider other schools
I've applied to NSCC but I don't know what the criteria will be before I pay the application fee. Another issue is that NSCC only have programs that'll start by September this year.
Lekiboboe: I heard the likes of BIM (Building Information Modeling) is trending for you guys in Architecture, Urban and Regional Planning, Civil Engineering.
That being said, you might also want to consider the following programs
In my own suggestion, go for a Program that starts WINTER 2023 (January) and apply for it, that will allow you more time for the admission and Visa Processing, cos if your target is FALL 2022, you might not meet up, getting admission can take some time, visa processing needs enough time as well, it can take months.
For How Much You gonna need,
Check the program you want to study and look for the TUITION AMOUNT of that program for INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS, then you need to have a minimum of $10,000 Canadian dollars (CAD) for your One year Living expenses.
Once you know your tuition amount as an international student, add it to that 10K CAD , then you will know the total amount of money you gonna need
FYI, you can't process a Canada Study Visa without an Admission Letter. An Admission letter is the first thing you must have before you can apply for a Canada Study Visa.
Please what do you suggest that I do now? Getting admission letter means I'll have a very little time to get a VISA. And like how much should I have in mind to spend sir?
The thing is ,Canada don't really care about Degrees (degree don't count) it's your skill set, work experience they want, and a PG. Cert program at a college will offer you that cos you will be taught industry-based, hands-on Experience concepts that will e required by most firms, companies. You will be taught very little theory.
In terms of Job in Canada, they hire more College graduates for Jobs than those with Masters, PHD
Watch this YouTube video from the beginning to the end, you will find it very useful useful

Wow I really appreciate your effort sir. I'll like to go for BIM. But I'm curious, should I process visa first or I'll have to apply for tuition first?
It's just an academic progression you will likely follow eventually if you want to study in Canada since you don't have a 2.1 that can make you eligible to apply for a Masters. In a Nutshell, it is advisable
You mean I'll do that before I can apply for masters?
Lekiboboe: Guess it's a network glitch, re-check the post again
Pasterlo: Hello everyone, please I need your advice. my study visa has been approved for the September start date (Niagara College). The due date for tuition is the first of June, please is it possible to extend this date to the end of July? How can I convince them to extend the date? Thank you so much.
