It is so sad how Africans help foreigners create terrors within while we buy arms and ammunition from these advanced countries with hard earn income to solve the same problems. As Africans hands are tied with the problems they help create, these advanced countries spend money made from businesses on universities and technology to meet future challenges. Most of the wealthy Africans (thank God not all) indulge themselves in instant gratification and pleasures in foreign toy stores like children. |
There are many descendants of Oba Bini who are still comfortable with their Yoruba blood and name. But because of today's politics cannot come out and defend their heritage within Edo. Remi Tinubu with Itsekiri mother recently came out and spoke her mother's dialect of Yoruba in Itsekiri. If you are wondering, you do not know your history. |
These retired Generals would drive a hot shaft through their mothers’ behinds to make foreign money. They are willing to sell to the highest foreign bidder. Foreigners and international corporations buy their way into Nigerian resources after making deals with the Generals, village chiefs and militia groups disguised as Muslims and Christians looking for converts. Can anyone in his right mind explain why Nigeria does not know how much Oil and other Resources are going leaving the country? We have a country where some of us are so obsessed with the little devils like Tinubu, Atiku and Obi right now. We have lost sight of the bigger ones: our retired Generals. Oshiomole was brave enough to point to these retired Generals but Tinubu told some Nigerians that he knows them. However, if he goes after them, they would kill him. He actually confessed to some people. So, retired Generals are so powerful, no Nigerian dare challenge them. It is easier to snatch meat out of the mouth of a lion than to hold any of the retired Generals accountable. They are so comfortable in their parasitic role as vultures, they would rather burn their own country down than relinquish control of Nigeria’s resources. They are impeccable and deliberately indifferent to the suffering of their fellow people. They watch gleefully as women, children and the poor masses starve to death. Late Major Ezeogwu, a patriotic Nigerian, thought he was going to clean up the Augean Stable until his acquaintances betrayed him and turned it into ethnic coup, plugging the country in a Civil War. In fairness to Orka Coup against Ten Percenters and Immorality, IBB was able to quash them with loyal soldiers and relocated to Abuja. This gave more impetus to the retired Generals that junior officers that succeeded in Ghana, could not have succeeded in Nigeria. It is not that Nigerians have not tried to free themselves from Vagabonds In Power, there are more gullible people who refuse to see beyond their selfish individual interests. The promises that were made for almost half a century but never fulfilled can never benefit any ethnic group. Believe it or not, those that have ruled the Country the most, still have the highest concentration of poor people |
NIGERIA DOOM UNTIL RAWLINGS SUCCESS CURES EZEOGWU BETRAYAL Nigeria will never be free from the grip of retired Generals that Rawlings eliminated in Ghana and Ezeogwu failed to eliminate in Nigeria because his colleagues betrayed him. No African has ever seen a country like Nigeria where highly paid militricians contest to burn the country to the ground by looting the heck out of it. A friend asked how many millions are there in Nigeria to withstand looting for so long. Forget millions, now retired Generals earn millions and loot in billions! It is not that Ghana is free of corruption because Rawlings eliminated these Generals but no country can survive the amount of intentional and open leakage of resources and foreign income that escaped Nigeria for so long. Ordinary folks to the evil genius IBB and those like OBJ cannot understand how Nigeria still survives despite the humongous amount of legal remuneration, diverted or stolen with impunity at the top. It is the death sentence in countries that reduce the poverty rate. The reason Nigerians are still surviving is because they are resilient, suffering and suffering in disgust. Indeed, many Nigerians are praying and waiting for their turns before the loot-hole is closed. Politics is the most lucrative business in Nigeria. Political parties only fight their way into how to share the National Cake. They have no ideology and jump from one party to another depending on how much they can get; not because they love the country. The Generals imported the bandits and terrorists operating in other countries. Many of these bandits and terrorists are from unstable destabilized Arab countries pretending to spread Islam knowing how tolerant Africans are when it comes to religion. The Western countries also come as Christian Crusaders fighting to save Christians. Muslim Jihadist and Christian Crusaders have turned Nigeria into a war zone. Interestingly, the new missionaries, whose fathers and grandfathers sold religious crusade and jihad to us, are back in Nigeria. They are now telling us to ignore the Middle East War where their Armies are replicating the same mission they executed in Africa and other regions. They want us to get preoccupied in Nigeria with the little political devils while the biggest devils get away. Source: |
Buying food has been a particular struggle, not just for the 42% of Nigerians who live on less than $3 a day, the World Bank’s definition of extreme poverty, but also for the urban middle class. The price of a kilo of rice has nearly quadrupled since May 2023, while wages have barely budged. Even though inflation is now falling, many still struggle to afford enough to eat. Mr Obasanjo’s reforms in the early 2000s aimed to increase economic dynamism and improve people’s lives by attracting fresh capital investment into newly privatised sectors. By the end of his second term in 2007, domestic companies were worth $85bn, up from $3bn in 1999. Mr Tinubu, by contrast, has so far focused on restoring stability and reviving the country’s ailing oil-and-gas sector. To bring about more golden years for Nigerians, he needs to go beyond that. https://www.economist.com/middle-east-and-africa/2026/01/29/nigerias-economy-may-be-back-from-the-brink |
SWEAR ON THUNDER TO SERVE & NEVER POCKET ALLOCATION FOR FOOD If Abacha could probe looters, Any Government In Power Must. Then probe them when they leave the Office. Many people think it will not stop kleptomaniacs from the addiction and craving of looting the treasure blind. Most African politicians are just looking for the chance to get elected or overthrow the sitting government by arms, tulasi or any means necessary to satisfy their longing. Would it make a difference if sworn on Magazawa Bori, Amadioha or Sango? We must always repeat aloud the African culture of: It Takes A Village To Raise A Child. There are political godfathers demanding a certain percentage of Internal Generated Revenue. Pocketing Federal or local Allocations for the survival of women and children as conditions to serve as Governor, Federal minister, Chairman of local government, commissioner or a political dog catcher. It is no different from offering you a job and taking a percentage of kickback from salary. The main goal is to launder money abroad to buy humongous family houses for ladies and mis-educate their Nepo-children that hardly benefit them or Africa. These leaders said out loud that they steal because nobody stoned them; for the simple reason that most of those without opportunities to steal are waiting and praying for their turns. This calls for a deterrent like life banishment into a dog house or life sentence. The culture of corruption can be deadly in many circumstances that call for the feeding of the poor, women and children in desperate needs. Political Dare Devils are so desperate, they do not care who suffer or starve to death as a result of the diversion of money into their pockets. Whenever any of them is found guilty of specifically demanding the money allocated to feeding, those who are helpless facing hunger, the maximum punishment of life jail or death is deserved. When politicians keep some or lion share of allocation, they know it is the poor, women and children that are going to be denied basic necessities of life. They know or must have known the consequences of their cruel denials and those that are going to suffer most. Without any remorse or conscience, they lavish the money on vanities for their family, cronies and friends while others die of hunger or lack of care. There is no country in the world that it's citizens do not die for in order to make it Better. Some Nigerians begged to fight for Ukraine, Russia and US as suicide bombers! The same people in Nigeria clamouring for Greener Saner climes after messing up their own country. Though they have ruled or Allied with rulers since and before Independence. Rule or destroy the country! |
Please enough of these campaign posters. Nigerians have to take responsibility for the country's failure where three unscrupulous presidential candidates are preferred to patriotic presidential Activists. Otherwise, work and sanitize what you got until you learn to elect a better candidate that can probe him. For now, he must probe whoever he deemed corrupt without making flimsy excuses like whataboutism or feeling "sorry" for the enforcer. |
There is nothing wrong with seeking a second opinion from any media even if you have money for immediate medical attention or if you live in countries where medical care for elderly is free. We do not have that privilege in Nigeria for the elderly. This is not the time to start a blaming game. The contribution here have been helpful and more to learn for those of us not affected. It doesn't matter to some as long as the country is destroyed by invasion or whatever |
Jonathan wanted approval from the same North that was trying to sabotage his efforts. Christmyhope: |
Ingrain poverty is exactly what is driving greed in Nigeria wishing their children and grandchildren will never be poor again. Surprise, surprise, those smarter than them that pursue integrity will be paid by prodigal children to disenfranchise themselves. HeatSeeker: |
People go into politics, not to help their people and communities as they claim but to get access to power that can make you money. Until you realize it takes more than money to sustain your tickle. The problem rich people have with MONEY is when it cannot buy them love, health or life. It gets worse when you cannot buy human to replace you on your sick bed. It takes a new possession, another and another to rekindle your fancy but no amount of money can make you understand until you find out. |
We must not forget General Ihejirika success against Boko Haram that made President Jonathan to remove him based on Northern Oligarchy influence and cry of killing their people. Hate or love Tinubu, he is taking a different approach that cannot be influenced by the powerful commanders of terrorists in his Government and retired Army Generals. |
There must be something special about being a Lagosian. many people from different parts of the country just wannabe. So do I! |
OUR POLITICIANS BUY AK47 FOR POOR FULANI TO EXTORT BILLIONS NOT RELIGION When the leaders of the kidnappers, Turji claimed he has never seen that many millions in his life, who are the people pocketing the billions and employing poor Fulani for kidnapping and terror? The killings, persecutions and kidnapping we face in Nigeria are beyond religious and ethnic cleansing. Highly placed politicians are the real bandits using poor Fulani to make money. This is not the USA's turn to save African Christians in exchange for our minerals again! History should have taught us that whenever there is a resource rich state, marauders follow like ants chasing honey. Gold Coast, Ivory Coast or Slave Coast should have been our reminder that we are still not out of the woods. The tears that Christians are being persecuted may be so justified in China or Afghanistan. But no super power made it the reason to invade the countries where Christians face existential risk, except in Africa. Before Gold and Ivory Coasts, Mansa Musa the richest man of all time went to Mecca. On his way to and from Mecca he gave out gold like candy depressing the price in the world market. Guess what, Moroccans followed him home looking for more riches along the West African countries. Moroccan marauders destroyed Mali, one of the most civilized Empires in the whole world. According to David Bavidson, you could send a small child to the market, no cheating! But for Tsetse flies that deter more Western and Arab invaders into West Africa, it could have been worse if we can imagine anything worse than the indoctrination of the present Africans. We cheer and beg for invasion when our problems are local politicians looting the Central Bank claiming they are negotiating with bandits they hire. Since the battle of Jenne, destruction and decline of the African Empire of Mali; city states emerged and Africa never regained its balance. We have been attracting marauders for ages. Before Mansa Musa was the Queen of Sheba. She was the richest woman in the world. Her wealth was so attractive, King Solomon married her and they had a son creating a line from which Haile Salassie, the lion of Judah came. Haile Salassie was the Head of the oldest Christian Church well before the Europeans were converted to Christianity. Nigeria has spent a great deal of money to purchase arms in order to deter random attack North and South of the country. Unfortunately, the terrorists and bandits are better armed putting the soldiers in a precarious situation. The same politicians buying arms for the Army are buying AK47 to equip terrorists with better technology and plant informants in order to make billions! Moreover, rehabilitation of the terrorists that surrendered and are reabsorbed into regular Army has put serving soldiers in an untenable position on the battlefield. Fighting in war is difficult enough, watching over your shoulder for those you do not trust on the same mission is worse than a distraction. Even when bandits and terrorists are caught, they are released on orders from the so-called Unknown Oga At The Top! Source: |
Well, if you guys know about my reservation for Tinubu and Peter Obi on drug dealing now or in the past, you could have saved your comments for someone else. Yes, Buhari was blamed as a usurper of dead body. Indeed, come to find out he fooled everyone during his reign with Idiagbon. Before we actually know who he was, some of us praised him for his "innate" aversion for corruption. We placed so much hope on Jonathan from Niger Delta, the first truly educated meaning well informed head of state, unassuming and humble. These qualities praised to heavens got him votes from South and North! Tinubu that we had reservation with, worked with NdiIgbo to overthrow a lady Speaker that happened to be a Yoruba. When the same Tinubu became President, he was hated from day ONE! You even voted against Falaye because he was Yoruba's choice. You preferred Northern choice, OBJ. There is something about Yoruba interest that you hate with a passion. We used to think about Southern unity, Awolowo died insisting on it. Yoruba unity beggars is still fresh. Tinubu did what Akintola preached all along. If Northerners are that bad, how come Igbo form alliance with them since 1960 Independence? |
The more you blame Tinubu for everything, the more people you convince that you are not constructive but reckless. You even blame Tinubu for your world known drug dealings when your own leader you want to force on everyone still has drug mule in Asian jail. By the way, this is coming from someone who did not vote for Tinubu but your reckless blames and criticism exposed your ulterior motives. |
Guys wake up. Once you are a common tenant on the property, ie jointly owned, she can take a loan without you on the property. She can also change the property to her name alone. It gets worse. Even if her name is not on the property, once she has lived there, she can claim "half/half. If she has under age children, she can claim it all and throw you out. God bless Africa. Where when you throw her out, her family would come begging. Learn before you japa! Look before you jump from fry pan to fire. God bless Nigeria. |
It Is Not About Saving Christians It Is The Fear Of Economic Independence It is very difficult to believe any reasonable constituted authority anywhere would dictate to Nigeria which religious laws to proscribe. Though Nigeria inherited British laws from the Era of Roman and Judeo-Christian laws, Sharia laws are not the problem in Nigeria since they only apply to the Talikawa and hardly apply to the rich and famous. Imagine how many hands of kleptomaniac Northern politicians could have been cut! The radical extremists pushing or trying to choose religion for any African country are only looking for ways to destabilize and polarize the country along religious lines. These are not serious Christians themselves. They do not belong or attend any church but are quick to misinterpret their own Bible to justify Slavery, abolition of Civil Rights for women and minorities and roll back of gains made by progressive sectors upon which their country triumphs. People are very conscious about their very existence and are willing to take help from anywhere for preservation. Most of the time a helping hand always has a price in the face of existential threat. We cannot condemn those who feel so threatened that they become desperate for any salvation, even from the devil, believing that a temporary relief is better than none. Christians are crying for help but so are the helpless Muslims, facing real impending massacre. Today it is your neighbors that are being raided, tomorrow the same marauders would come for you. Unfortunately, people have a double standard between terrorists within and terrorists from outside. Though the consequences of mutilation and death are no different. Voices are growing louder against terrorist invaders. While fear of protest against domestic terrorists is obvious since they can pinpoint identified squealers, outside terrorists look for weak targets, regardless. Since when have World Powers out to defend the Economic Interest of the African countries? When they think about Africans, it has always been about economic subjugation. Their ways of getting free resources and free workers is to cheapen what they see as products so that they can take it at bargain base price. If they don’t have their way, Gunboat Diplomacy of Mass Destruction to bomb you into ashes and reduce your country to rubble is their weapon! Source: |
Conservatives know how to manipulate gullible people, ai swear. This happened in one of the states some years ago. Give them cash and take their social needs like SNAP and Healthcare away! It works each time. |
There is no difference between those bent on ruling Nigeria by force or tulasi. Either from the North or South since Independence. It is either they rule or help destroy the country. Their territorial ambition is the same. oldguyman: |
There is nothing Western Interest will not do do to capture Oil, Minerals and Slaves in Africa. All they have to do is in the name of Christian. The Arabs do the same in the name of Islam. Yet, Africans despise their own Religion while African Traitors call their atheist infidel and kaferi. A Dark Continent indeed! |
Joker! Medicine after loss in 2003. You are not ashamed that all the leading Presidential candidates Nigeria could produce, they are all looters and money launderers. Who takes you seriously after people were sick and tired of your daily wailing, hypocrisy and drug baiting while your preferred candidate still has drug mule locked up in Asian jail. Gerhards: |
