Its fake news like this that ensures the major social media companies have some sort of fact cheking operation, mostly heightened during this election.

Nairaland should be responsible for checking information posted onto iys platform, especially those that make it to the front page.

For, according to one insider in the Nigerian camp, Redknapp, 73, could be about to make a sensational return into elite management as their new head coach.

The Super Eagles source said: “The feeling is Harry Redknapp will be coming to manage Nigeria soon.’’

If the former Tottenham boss can be persuaded to come out of football retirement, it will represent a huge coup for the Nigerian FA.

Away from the game, Redknapp has become a huge national favourite since winning ‘I’m a Celebrity'.

And his new ITV football show, Harry’s Heroes is proving a big hit during lockdown.

But the ex-West Ham and Portsmouth manager, whose last job was with Birmingham in 2017, has always held ambitions of being a coach on the international stage.

He lost out to Roy Hodgson in the race for the England job in 2015 - and was later sacked by Spurs for declaring his interest in the Three Lions post.

Ironically, England’s loss was almost Nigeria’s gain after they came close to appointing Redknapp ahead of the 2016 World Cup finals.

Negotiations reached an advanced stage only to collapse at the last minute.

However, the Super Eagles are increasingly optimistic they will have better luck this time round.

The fact most of their stars are based in Europe is definitely a big advantage in their pursuit of Redknapp.

Nigeria regularly host international friendlies in London with so many of the squad playing in the Premier League.

That means Redknapp, who lives on the Dorset south coast, would have no problem keeping in touch with players and monitoring their form.

yeah bro.twas a panel onterview aii.a 3 person panel.2 men and a lady.i asked and they said it was d first and only interview to be held for the position and d trainee program is to begin in feb/march for successful candidates.
