Deitels java how to program is what made me the developer I am 2day,the exercises are a simulation of a real life encounter of java integral programs. U just have to attempt them.take them to be exams or a test that if u don't pass u can't go to the next chapter. It requires concentration and thinking apparently. You shouldn't have to setAutocommit to false when using container transactionality.
The spec says that you "must not use any resource-manager specific transaction management methods that would interfere with the container’s demarcatn,exampe java.sql.Connection. I can tell you aren't familiar with the swing library,the ones that come with d jdk7 re just 4,motif,nimbus,metal,windowsclassic,not to speak of the external look and feel api libraries written for the platform.the look and feel api's can make ur application skin look like anytyn,even a Mac gui.

Many of us must of heard about hw the name Java stuck to the framework. This happened apparently in an indian coffee shop named "Java" (a meeting place for geeks)where james Gosling 'the founder' and other co-geeks/resource people met to share ideas. Well,there's something about the indian shop,they have a very special coffee bean till this time which you can't buy else where. What the Java Coffee icon means to me is simply the framework is for geeks. What's my definition of a geek? A geek is someone who because of solving peoples problem has a declined social life,gained weight probably from eating @ a spot,drinks coffee regularly to overcome sleep to get a job done.has a fat account,doesn't care about looks,fails with women,needs a mobile toilet because of diarrhea,etc. A real geek can afford to be @the premieres,but sees it as a waste of time. A real geek wears a pair of glasses due to impaired vision from over programming (my experience). If you are experiencing any of these,u re fast becoming a geek,i would advice you to slow down,see a movie,and continue in 5hours time. I practically had a chance to be @ozone cinemas 2day,I drove off because I thot it wuz boring,this wasn't me 3years ago.I just thought the java coffee has something to do with keeping you awake ..

you can't create an installer for ur java program directly. you need to build ur application using netbeans platform profile,it can create ur installer fr mac,linux platforms. I guess you built a standalone application that runs in jar and u re tryin to convert it to windows exe,u can use programs like jar2exe to convert,but before building your application to jar in netbeans,ensure your persistence.xml table generation is on "createTable" else your tables won't be found in d database,and wen testing the jar application ,run them on d command prompt,it will notify u of the errors,probably the table issue u r having
