Mankind2024: Let us all join hands together and speak the word of God, the highest power and authority to Locodemy's village people. The village people, the witches and wizards in Imo state and environs, leave our friend alone in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen. Together we can help Locodemy become a disciplined, winning and prosperous investor. Almighty God, we call upon You today to breathe the fresh air of delayed gratification into the life of Locodemy and prosper him more than his imagination. His N400M of today should birth more than N2.5B on or before 2030. Amen He is our good friend. We want him to join the NSEMPA billionaire club before the end of 2025. May You also deliver him from the spirit of Madam Cathie Wood. Amen. I think your point has been made clearly. He's not actually complaining about the hypothetical scenarios you've mentioned nor has he felt unhappy about the successes he has made to date. While we appreciate that you've had success, repeatedly highlighting your achievements here feels unnecessary. Perhaps there are other ways to project success without it coming across as bragging. |

malali: Where was this information obtained ? I looked at the IMF website.
There is nothing to this effect. Please verify and show us the original source, not just Nigerian newspapers.
Show us the link of where IMF said this.....We should be careful with spreading false information. We might be missing something, but there seems to be a disconnect between your conclusion and what the data you've provided shows when comparing the " Projection" columns to " Difference from April 2025 WEO Projections 1/" columns. Could you walk us through how you're interpreting yours? If anything, the vanguard's editor made a contradictory error here => "The new forecast represents a 0.4 percentage point decrease from the 3.0 percent forecast of the IMF in April this year." It's actually an increase not a decrease |

ositadima1: I don’t see posts on this forum as a reflection of personality—maybe that’s my problem. Everything I type here starts and ends here; it never extends beyond this space into the personal lives of those posting. So, if I make a remark, don’t take it personally—it has nothing to do with you as an individual. My comments are strictly based on my views of the text I see on the screen.
I think it’s important to separate personal worth from posts made on a public forum. For example, someone here could be my employer or a prominent figure in the real world, but in this space, that doesn’t matter. Everything begins and ends with the wisdom behind the posts—nothing more, and that’s how it should be.
If you get angry because I challenged your post and feel like deactivating because of it, then you’re missing the point. Your post is not you! Perfectly understood!!!!. I'm convinced your intentions are clear, as you are consistently trying to provide diverse and balanced views that should ordinarily help the less experienced make better informed decisions. However, a lil more live and let live would do us all good. Great leaders don't just share their perspectives, they also listen to contrary views Anyhoo, have a great day!! |

ositadima1: Like I said before, arguments are necessary for growth—they are not meant to denigrate.
If I make an assertion, argue with me—it's welcome. Attack me if you must—still welcome. I learn in the process and improve. I don’t know about you, but this is how I learn best.
Acknowledgments and praises add nothing to my current knowledge. Fixation with being right makes you lose sight of the bigger picture. Arguments should be about learning and growth, not proving a point at someone else’s expense. At the end of the day, investing isn’t an exact science, everyone has their own approach, and no one gets it right all the time. Calling out people’s different views over and over starts to look less like discussion and more like a witch hunt. People need space to think for themselves and take responsibility for their own decisions. |

At the bolded, does this restriction apply to every staff of those companies?
We notice that SP moves before results are paste on the board, is it magic? Even the 'doyen of NGX' did not hide it...
Anyways what do I know
Over and out I believe staff of those companies can own shares BUT they can't trade them during the blackout period. The movement is clearly due to Insider Trading and I've been involved in forensic analysis (mortgage rate manipulation) of such cases in the past here in the UK. Some other reasons for their exit were also stated (see attached SC)...
May I also add that IOCs pay attention to work place ethics and working conditions. They are compelled to pay premium insurance to get their staff to work in highly volatile areas/countries. One of Eni’s oga at the top told me theft and cost of securing onshore assets was a great compounder of issues that necessitated the divestment |

if God have to wait till AD 500 to promulgate this into law, I mean a lot of generation of mankind have to be appeased. Just to be clear, i’m anti polygamy!!! To answer your question, the sura was given at the time when they engaged in constant wars which obviously resulted in widowers and orphans. Considering men was also the main/only breadwinner at the time, it made sense for this widowers to be paired by responsible men would could afford and follow the just conditions However, times are different and selfish religious people are often comfortable taking doctrines out of context or ignorantly falling to evolve their ways in line with current realities |

shaybebaby: I guess to satisfy the equal loving part, the incoming wife needs to collect too. With a third wife queuing up right behind equally chopping beating and so on.
Anything else is going against that doctrine as that is the "loving" template based on wife number one.
Even the 72 virgins waiting in the after life must collect. Loving doesn’t equate to sex It’s almost impossible to love two or more people equally. We all have preferences. Hence, the reason why some Muslims disregard the condition whilst focusing squarely on their ability to afford it |

Muslims are only allowed to marry up to 4 wives if they can afford it AND love them equally
Most selfish muslims ignore the loving them equally condition because it’s almost impossible to satisfy them equally. You will almost certainly be unjust to the other three thereby committing a sin which is frowned upon by Allah
There is a reason why some northern muslims prefer to divorce first before taking on another wife
“Marry women of your choice, Two or three or four; but if you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one, or (a captive) that your right hands possess, that will be more suitable, to prevent you from doing injustice.” — Qur'an, Sura 4 (An-Nisa) |
