Special thanks to all those who always come in unison to defend our common goal, especially when the few bad elements here sha wan cast us with their incriminating questions. No doubt, any VO reading this thread will be proud of Nigerians. I'm always glad and proud when I see those downright criticisms of people trying to cut corners.

Hello house. I'm a 'newbie'. I wrote my IELTS yesterday and since then I've been sleeping and dreaming about IELTS, even when I was on a bike on my way home from d exam centre, I nearly fell off due to over-dreaming. Now, my questions..
1. As these dreams have persisted till now, are they some positive sign that I will max out IELTS or it's warning me already that I'll have a torrid time with the VO in the future and I might even bag the famous 5?
2. How do I go about sending my NECO/WAEC? I have read all the pages and can't find the page where a reference is made about it. I'm always busy so I have not been able to use the search bar.
And pls, don't send me to page 1.
Kindly assist. It's quite urgent!

What you still do not understand is some people are here to bring up the so-called unnecessary issues, even when they are not new to the thread and how it works. They know fully well the outcome. It's now left for us to decide on either ignoring altogether or fueling such arguments. I think it's about time we nominated someone to attend to such questions that are being repeatedly asked but have hitherto been elaborated on in previous pages and threads. I'll pick @Tina26 for this. She knows how well to answer such questions in the best possible few frank words. This will go a long way in preventing this ugly trend and reduce the number of targets these set of people have to deal with, especially when you try to correct them and, they in return, would come at you backlashing! This is Part 9 and we are over 40pages already. Arguably, most of the contents are issues that are either unnecessary or could have been addressed by page 1. Erigo23: Hmmm all these unnecessary arguments can be prevented if people would just use THE SEARCH BAR OR GO TO PAGE 1 before asking some questions. Type your query in the search bar your question most likely has been covered from part 1 to 8. If you don’t see it then go to page 1. If you still don’t see your answer (which is very unlikely) then ask here and people would answer. People become frustrated to answer questions that have been repeatedly answered since 2015. Be guided let’s not be fighting up and down here. |

You've already hit the nail on its head with your first sentence! You needed not have stressed any further explaining what he knows already, tbh. Some of us here really encourage these sort of acts by trying to be the best provider of responses to queries. ladymarshall: Great that you requested gcms. Now the RR issue is now clearer. Do not be worried at all. For eligibility, you need 67pts and you're above that at 70pts, even higher than mine, 68. So you're good to go.
Another good thing is both job references are in your primary NOC and the JD as a Foreign project analyst matches your NOC. Had it been they were different NOCs and the JD as a Foreign Consultant which the officer has issues with is your primary NOC, I would have been really worried for you. But now, you're good.
The other good thing is you have 4 years experience as a Foreign project analyst, which means even if your work experience as a Foreign consultant which is the problematic one here is cancelled, you still have maximum points for work experience and your CRS scores will remain the same so go and relax and wait patiently for your PPR.
Had it been that the only work experience you submitted was as an FC which currently is a NOC mismatch, the appropriate response would have been for your HR to revise your reference letter, if indeed your duties correlates with the NOC. But in your case your FPA JD is good, it's in your primary NOC and still sufficient for your CRS scores. So taking that HR action is unnecessary.
So relax, what the VO would do if unsatisfied with the FC JD is to cancel it and use the FPA to recalculate your scores. There is a lady in May with this issue that got PPR. VO rejected one of her NOCs and recalculated her scores but because her overall CRS scores was still above the CRS draw score she got ITA with, she still got PPR. I won't post the link here because anti-spam bot has been overly sensitive banning my account anyhow But if you pm me, I can send her story to you. The Lady Marshall for VO.. |

Sorry, I do not know jack about Accounting, their certifying bodies and how certification is done. Quoting though from your 1st post, you said you submitted your certificates in one envelope. That was the basis for my initial response to resend via hellofax in support of an earlier advice given to you. Your post just below has just revealed what's to be resent is a transcript. A bit confusing! Pls note that if it involves transcript, get the awarding organisation to resend it or they package it as required and give to you to send. But if you mean to say Certificate, you can send it again via hellofax for free. Use the searchbox above for that keyword or google it to know more about it.. chibabe25: Amen...thank you but I don’t have a copy of the transcript. ICAN does not release the transcript.
I also sent them a message on their ‘contact us’ platform and they responded stating the obvious; that is what they have received and what they haven’t received. It seems to me they don’t understand my plight.
Please what else can I do? chibabe25: Hello guys,
Please I need an advice. I submitted my ATS and ACA certificate ( this was unnecessary but I didn’t know this early enough) in 1 envelope.
Now WES sent me a no-reply mail to say that they received the ACA certificate but not the ATS certificate. I sent a DM on Twitter already on the issue.
But has anyone experienced this and how did you go about it? Is there anything else I have to do?
PLEASE HELP |

Ma, reference letter in CIC format is what's required to prove the work experience that you're claiming points for. But you can tag along it anything that makes you feel comfortable the VO will not doubt it. The aim is to submit an application that will make you be at peace all day and sleep better at nights while you wait for the golden mail's visit. OTemi: Hello Everyone,
Concerning work experience, is it only the reference letter that will be submitted or alongside other docs like staff ID, offer letter, etc?
Am getting confused whether people without reference letter are the ones to submit other work related docs.
Thanks |

Whew! Did you just say you do not understand why any married lady/woman changes her name to her hubby's? Lol . Though your advice is on point, I feel there's no need adding @ bolded. nomad26: Of course you can. I'm married and all my submitted documents bore my maiden name. Note that I didn't change my name after marriage sha (still don't get why anyone does this ) If you get a passport now and then choose to change your name after marriage, note that you will need to get another passport and also swear a 'one and same person' affidavit. My advice is stick with your maiden name until you've migrated to Canada, you can then change your name over there if you still wish to do so. |

Aww.. Yet another cheering news to go back to bed with. Weeping may endure but a night, joy comes in the morning. Congrats to you. May the new land favour you and everything yours. Torkwase1: PPR IS HERE!!!
This journey started in February 2018. A friend who's in Canada introduced Express Entry to me, tried to convince me to give it a try..
My friend in Canada introduced me to an immigration lawyer that she used.. Then, I didn't know I could do it myself.. I sent 500 dollars to the agency as deposit. Well, they sent me an initial package of documents to fill,.. I will pay another 1000 dollars before submission, apart from other payments o..
NAIRALAND TO THE RESCUE By a stroke of luck and grace, I stumbled upon the nairaland EE thread. I read several chapters, page by page, and watched YouTube Videos. I sent a mail to the Agent that I'm no longer doing. That's how I lost 500 dollars.
At this time, I had already sent documents for WES evaluation, and in my ignorance, I evaluated both 1st and Masters degree. See ehn, ignorance is costly. By the time I met Nairaland EE thread, I had many regrets, and was eager to learn as much as possible.
IELTS: I didn't practice much for IELTS, never had time and just felt I could handle it.. Thank God it came out great. L- 9 R- 8.5 S- 8 W- 7. 5
First ITA: AUGUST 22. My score was 476. I had to decline this ITA after some weeks cos I couldn't complete my POF. Was to sell off a plot of land, the person who wanted to buy it couldn't pay in time.
MEDICALS: IOM Abuja, pretty straight forward
Second ITA: November 27. Land sold, money paid, everything was ready.
POF: I did a fixed deposit in Fidelity Bank, uploaded FD certificates and added their generic reference letter. I had money in two other accounts, for which I presented statement of results.
AOR: December 11, 2018
VO: Ottawa. I was so happy that my file wasn't going to Accra..
MEP/BIL: January 24
THEN THE WAITING BEGAN. I had joined a post-ITA Telegram group.. If only I knew what CIC had in store. Those with AOR's in the same period as me started getting their PPRs.. I was still stuck in MEP. When I clocked 6 MONTHS in June , I called CIC help centre...
. Another month passed, no show. This time, I was about the only one in the group who didn't have PPR.
SECOND MEDICALS One day, I was with a friend and got an update on my account. We were both excited, thinking PPR had arrived. I opened it to see, MEDICALS! My first test had expired. I broke down in tears that day. I was tired.
PPR- SEPTEMBER 4, 12:15 AM
LESSONS This journey taught me patience. Ha! I had a swift IELTS, I thought everything will be like that. For where. I learnt to accept that there are things I can't control..
Now that the Golden Mail is finally here, I am excited to start this new phase of my life. Thank you Nairalanders, this group is a gem. And to imagine it is free. God bless you all. It ended in praise for me, it will for all who are waiting too. |
