Okay sir. I've stopped wondering.

I'm also wondering why you think that it's not possible
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Jaybye: 8:57am On Dec 15, 2019
Sir, when it's Gift Deed, the time it came in does not matter. Just ensure it's coming from someone whose relationship with you can not be easily questioned by your eventual case officer. Best options include your dad, mum,
and siblings or those of your spouse, if you're married. I'm not saying one can't get from cousins or friends, but I'll discourage anything that will easily link one and village people yet again.. And of course, you do not want any cause for worry post-ITA should your application/PPR linger far too long.

profeddor15:
Good morning sir and ma, I wish everyone Merry Xmas and happy New year in advance.
Please, i want to ask an urgent question ;
How many months will gift deed will stays in someone account if it happens that gift deed came in two weeks or one months before the 60days deadline and can it be acceptable?.

Anything not included as work history for which you earned part-points to your CRS should go to personal history and stay there! This has been advised severally, as in severally, brother Niyi. Even on this page, just up above, @Nettye still referred to such while answering @MumTwins2..

But it was not include in the Pre - ITA in work history..

Is that a good move

On a lighter note, let's hope the powers that be here are, yet again, not planning to root out your epistle as you plan to drop it, same way it happened to your edited PPR gists on page 1 of part 9. Lol.. And I hope I do not get a suspension as well for this expensive-looking joke, just as you earned yourself one.. hehe.

Any attempt to alter the NOC of a submitted EE profile will most likely render it ineligible (as that's what happens in most cases)! I'll advise you live it the way it is and update IRCC about the change in your job role through a web form post-ITA since the job is still a current one.
All the best!

Bro, it's not too late to start learning French. It seems like a tall order but achievable actually if you make that decision and put your mind to it. Download the Duolingo app for a start. Search online for French Together and follow his tips and find a suitable coaching school like Alliance Francaise. If I were you, I would have invested the time and money (the time especially) I expended retaking the IELTS into this as TEF has more points on offer if you can get to a B2 or C1 level.

Please act. I would love to hear that breakthrough news from you soon. You've really given this your all and you deserve the best..

Since you are sure you keyed in an amount way over the required POF that applies to your case and you have at least a CLB 7 (i.e minimum of 6 in all four modules), just ask yourself if at any point while creating the now ineligible profile, you changed an NOC that you already 'added and saved' to another NOC. If you did, then that might answer why the profile became ineligible after final submission.

Solution: Just create another profile using the same GC key but avoid repeating the same mistake. Note that you wont be able to delete the previous one and you do not have to worry about it.

All the best!

Please, like that famous Johnny Walker advert, keep moving... Start learning French (Alliance Francais or other cheaper means) while hoping that the scores would drop consistently. Mieux vaut tard que jamais, the french would say.. Remember the pool is getting populated every blessed day and birthday, as much as one wishes it to stay away in this journey, will surely come, unfortunately, to steal from one!

Hmmm.... Inside life.
What can I do now?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Jaybye:
Modified response above.

If you can get a trusted colleague to write you a reference letter as advised, you will have to worry about him/her being contacted if IRCC so desires, which is actually no worry.

Collineno:
Thank you for your response. Must the letter say confirmed staff? I am still on probation and it was stated in my contract that I have to work 6 months minimum before being confirmed.

Also, will current employers be contacted? If they do it might raise serious concern at work when your line manager gets to know that you are about to escape
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Jaybye:
[s]Don't bother yourself about 'confirmation'. The most important thing is that you have a Letter of Offer of Employment on from your organisation/company that states you are an employee, when you started work, conditions of work (such as working hours and remunerations) and then, it also mentions your roles. From your previous post, you confirmed that you have your payslips as well, which confirms that your current job is a paid one. Since you do not want the HR people to know about this process yet due to the reason you gave, then you should just go ahead. You should add an LOE to explain why you couldn't obtain a reference letter. These VOs are reasonable humans in my own opinion, just as long as you are keeping things plain and not falsifying them[/s].

Modified: I just saw your initial post from @Tolfa's response above that your job roles were not stated. I'm so sorry, the roles have to be there as that would eventually determine which NOC you fall into. I don't know anyway round this, except if you have a colleague who can write a reference letter for you on an A4 paper in the required format and include his/her relevant documents confirming such as a member of staff of your organisation. You can see @Kennson PPR gist above to see how his wife got a reference letter from a colleague.. Her situation then is a similar one to yours.

It was intentional. IELTS would give you appropriate scores when it means nothing to you. Remember those parameters you fill before booking your test date? Purpose of exam and what not? It is as if your scores are predetermined before you even write the test

TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Jaybye: 6:09am On Nov 25, 2019
As long as those documents can prove the following; that you are a confirmed employee, show your employment date(s), show your working hours/state that you are working full time (or part time as the case may be), indicate your salary per month/annum, inform them of your roles and are on a letter-head bearing the organisation's name, address and contact details, I think those documents, when merged into one (if you wish), will fly. Brother Collin, those details I listed above are what I believe are required in a reference letter.
All the best!

Collineno:
Hello guys I just got a new job and was wondering if I can use only my current employment letter, payslips and JD sent to me by the HR instead of the work reference letter thing for my application.

I am still on probation and don't want the company to start having negative thoughts about me leaving the organisation

If I add the new company experience that will shoot me to having 3years work experience.

Has anyone successfully obtained PR by just using employment letter, payslips and JD of current job?

IELTS Writing Task 6

You haven't heard from your e-friends nairalanders for a long time. Write a letter to greet them in a Canadian way.
In your letter:
[i]- inform them about how you were able to finally submit your OINP application after careful consideration, and how the CAD1500 application fees touched your bone grin
- express how you cannot wait to receive the golden 600 coins
- ask them if you should travel to Toronto to speed up the process

Write not more than 600 words.

Do not write any address. Begin with:

Dear Canadian in Diaspora,
Man, all the bolded cracked me up. You sure must have a badge in IELTS writing! Lol

May all your efforts in this struggle be altogether fruitful in the end. It shall definitely end in praise, these challenges notwithstanding.

DECISION TO TRAVEL

In December 2017, my brother got his PR and this inspired my hubby and I to embark on this beautiful journey. He showed us his COPR/VISA to clear our doubt that this express entry is damn real. No time to waste as everybody don dey japa….and the state of this nation wasn’t encouraging . I don’t want my children to face all these naija wahala, the future looks scary. I had been privileged to have lived abroad before and I know how the systems works over there. So we rolled up our sleeves and started this Canada journey in 2018...

.......My watched has ended. To God be Thy Glory, great things he has done. Cheers guys !!
Big congrats to you and the entire household. May you blossom in the new land..
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Jaybye:
It's been a pleasure sis.

Let me reiterate, there's no amount of info I'll give you that can satisfy your thirst to know everything in this whole process at once. You'll still need to visit page one and first click on the Express Entry and PNP links to know more.

Based on the info you provided, your hubby seems to be in an advantageous position to be the PA (Primary Applicant). Why? Because he's still less than 30. Though, apparently, you're younger than him, your not having up to 3years paid work experience will lower the CRS with you as PA. Now you can see why he should be the PA!

In terms of Education, you are at par because you have a degree each. To get your hubby to improve you guys' CRS towards an ITA-fetching (ITA=Invitation To Apply) one, he needs to add another certificate like CIMA, BCS, a PGD, etc so that he can claim 2 or more Certificates.
Note: I did a calculation of your CRS with your hubby as PA, using the details you provide and it stands at 436. What made it that high is his age but then, if I may be blunt, that score is still not near one that can get you an ITA under FSW (Federal Skilled Worker) program with the current trend. Pls visit http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp and confirm scores using your hubby's details.

However, your hubby's CRS might get an ITA if you venture into PNP (Provincial Nominee Program).
Yet again, Page 1 has more info.
If your hubby's job is in demand in any of Canada's provinces, except Quebec (and if your husband is vast in French, why not?), he can apply to some of the provinces or hope to be picked by others if he ticked them as Province of Interest while filling his EE profile. You must know that some of these provinces highly favour applicants who have relatives staying in them, aside the in-demand jobs. You will still need to read more to know the other conditions attached to accepting and being valid to get the extra 600points associated with PNP. You mentioned 'a family friend' but family friends don't have any direct influence on the outcome of your EE process, aside using their address for your ECA and of course making you feel welcomed when you finally land in Canada; that's even if you find yourself in the same province as them! But you can claim points from siblings or step-siblings, yours or hubby's, in the case of FSW and in addition to that, from uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, grandmas, grandpas etc of certain age limit, in the case of PNP.

And for you and hubby's education credentials to count, both must be assessed by any suitable evaluating body in Canada. I already assumed both of you have had your ECA, that's why your hubby earned points which made up to the 436 above, derived from the CRS tool. And I also assumed both of you sat for IELTS and had L-R-W-S of at least 8-7-7-7. To write IELTS, you both must have your valid travel passport ready. Page 1 has links to study materials and other useful tips.

Moreso, for your hubby to earn points for his job as a self-employed individual, he must be able to prove that his business is registered, must be able to present Tax (clearance) Certificate, must have evidence that he earns monthly from the business, must have some sort of written endorsement from some of his customers.. etc

After reading the recommended page 1s of previous Parts 1-8 and still not clear on certain issues, please ask more questions. You'll always get response from anyone here. That I'm so sure of.

All the best!

Meeddah:

Pls provide more details..

-Your age? Quel âge à tu?

-How Old is your hubby?

-Do you or your husband have a direct or step sibling(s) in Canada,

-Is your hubby's company registered with CAC?

-How many years has he been in business?

-Do you have any paid job experience?

-If yes to the above, how many years (add NYSC if you served)?

There are lot of angels in human forms in this thread who can be of help. Provide those details and voila, you've already started.

Meantime, take time to read Page 1 of this thread. You'll see links to determining you or your husband's eligibility and the one to help you calculate either of you's CRS. With the details requested above, we can cross-check with whatever you obtain from page 1.

Welcome and all the best madam...

Sorry about your plight brother. I can feel your pain. To relieve it a bit, let my share my experience. My wife's ECA took 6 months to get completed by the same WES. Not as smooth as it sounded. It was during NECO/WECO requirement days. They rejected her NECO and asked us to contact NECO to resend. To say we were demoralised was to say the least! I protested and all but for where(?), I only succeeded in prolonging issues. In the end,
we had to get back to NECO who kept giving one excuse or the other for another 3weeks before they finally agreed to do the needful. We took solace in the fact that it was resent FOC. Few days later, WES declared WAEC/NECO "not required" any more. I felt like strangulating someone, not to death anyway.. Lol..

Then, they accepted the documents and asked for verifications. We swung into action. They acknowledged and just when we were waiting for a completion date, they asked for a further verification... God knows I wanted to give up but then I've witnessed worse scenarios here.. Well, the rest is history.....

My advice;
Please do NOT bother to challenge them. Once they update on your timeline and ask you for anything, just don't struggle. Look for a way to move on. Trying to "make a case" against them is to your disadvantage. Kindly look for an avenue to stay on your school till they do the needful. After all, one of your worst fears (in this journey) has already become a reality and that's your birthday. So why not make hay while the sun shines again?

All the best! Looking forward to reading your breakthrough posts soonest.

To be frank though, I was only reliving how some people go about giving unnecessy details and asking questions that had hitherto been addressed countless times. One of which is NECO/WAEC. Just wait and see if you won't read a post asking how to send such in few days' time! Lol..

You'll also notice how I mentioned some of those who can't tolerate this attitude...
And asking not to be sent to a certain page 1 is a common appeal from these people as well. Hope you get the whole plot of my drama now? Like, how can someone seeking help possibly beg not to be sent where most of the clear solutions to the this relocation challenges are?...

Josephhh:
1. You need to understand our mind is very powerful, its whatever you feed your mind, is what it naturally reflects, if you feed it with panic or negativity, you will surely be worried. Stay positive and pray, because there's nothing else you can do at the moment.

2. You no longer need to send your WAEC/NECO for ECA

Most importantly, you will still need to go back to page 1 every now and then, just to check out some guidance. I believe everyone here does that pretty often, so going to page 1 of this thread is not a curse, condemnation nor a big deal, its just a guidance page or manual for this journey. I wish you success in this journey but then you must be ready to read and make researches here. Enjoy!
