Buy Eurobond funds, FG bond or mmf.

There is a rumour of currency devaluation in the next 4 weeks, Eurobond Fund won't be a bad idea

Or buy shares of companies who earn in dollars eg Seplat, Airtel, Dangote cement earns in dollars from his branches in other African countries

Thanks egbon Ewumi. And, thanks for all the excellent information you give us on this thread for free. I cannot thank you enough.

Baba, I would love to have either your email or your digits via PM. Kindly oblige me. Thanks again.

After working for a couple of years, I have been able to save a little over 1 million. That's all I have at the moment. I am considering putting all of it into Stanbic IBTC MMF.

1. Is it a wise decision for one to put all of his life savings into MMF considering the poor Tbills rates at the moment?

2. Is there a chance or possibility that the 1 million will depreciate after 1 year (I am seriously concerned about capital preservation).

Responses are highly welcome. Thanks.

It is very surprising how an import-dependent economy like ours will have just one functional seaport.

I can imagine the number of businesses that have closed down as a result of this ugly situation in Apapa

They say for any dysfunctional system (poor electricity, bad roads, high costs of living, famine, wars, weak institutions etc), there are people who are smiling to the bank. The powers that be in Nigeria are not willing to change the status quo because of vested interests. Things may not be changing anytime soon.

Any reasons sir or ma?

The Nigerian stock market is full of uncertainties at the moment. It has been that way for a long time now.

People who invested in mutual funds for stocks and equities are at a loss at the moment.

Good day my big big oga's.
I had just 2.3m in my account when I stumbled on this thread about 2 years ago and as at this moment i have physical 5.1m in treasury bills minus about half a million i gave to charity this year alone.
Now I have 250k in my savings account doing nothing and I want to diversify.
Please I need your advice as usual.Thanks.

Madam in all your investments, avoid Nigerian stocks for now.

Treasury bills remain the safest and lowest risk investment you can do pending when you get something better. It also helps to complement your monthly earnings. Capital preservation is the bedrock of long term wealth. Never forget that.

MURIC will never condemn Buhari for detaining El Zakzaky and Dasuki unlawfully, they will never condemn Boko Haram or Killer Fulani Herdsmen. You won't hear them talk about child marriage which is rampant in the north, but their obsession is #BBNaija

Bunch of jokers.

The dullard didn't even send condolences since its not a cow that died or a Fulani person...power drunk mofo

It's so unfortunate that the said ECOWAS chairman does not care about the funeral of Africa's greatest diplomat ever.
