Lamay: Good evening fruitful mama's.
I was diagnosed of hydrosalpinx of the right tube. I started taking yimucao, xixian cao and serrapatase and astragalus last week. I noticed I started having some cramp like pain. Please has anyone who takes the above noticed such and is it a sign that it's working?
Thanks Mama, how are you feeling now? Just seeing your message. I had hydrosalpinx of the left tube and I have my baby now to the glory of God. I didn't take Yimucao or xixian cao but I took serrapeptase and astragalus and I didn't feel any cramp like pain. |

awesomemrs: Happy New Month. May God in His infinite mercies remember everyone .
Jaymamma , I celebrate with you! Congratulations!
Tripletwins222 : Hmmmmmn, this result isn't bad o. The minimum sperm count needed for pregnancy to occur is between 15m and 20m. Your DH has 25M! His morphology is fine too. It is just the motility that needs to be worked on. Please mama, dont give up. What if I tell you some of us are still praying for our DH's sperm to even be up to the minimum count required. Hmmmmmn!
Queen1010, Congratulations to you. You shall carry to term.
My mamas and papas here, God has not given up on us. He will do that which He will do and no man will be able to share in His glory. Would we appreciate that our thorns still have beautiful roses or complain that our Roses have thorns (Today's Preaching in my church)? I'd choose the former. Let's learn to be grateful even in our challenges. Our testimonies are here already. I celebrate every woman on this thread, God sees our struggles and challenges and He will see us through. We are overcomers, amen. Thanks sweet sis |

So no more Diary updates I'd advise you ask one of the mods to possibly take it down, since you're no longer anonymous. Good luck. Is there someone he listens to? Or maybe his parents can talk to him. Otherwise, sis please start saving small small for IVF if he's not cooperating. Target good clinics with 650k - 700k promo. A miracle can even happen before your savings is complete. But best to set the ball rolling. He may be depressed and seeking comfort in alcohol forgetting it's detrimental to conception. To be honest, TTC can kill anyone's libido male or female. If peradventure he agrees to using drugs, please include maca. You can take it too. It will help increase the drive. Let him redo his SFA but with M/C/S this time. Then treat whatever underlying infection with sensitive antibiotics. Remember to use the antibiotics too and abstain throughout the course of the treatment so you don't reinfect each other. When you're done, commence him on Addyzoa and maca. To encourage him, make it your duty to be administering his drug daily. You can be taking maca, folic acid, Vit E or pregnacare conception during this period. So as you're bringing out your drugs, you bring out his and both of you swallow at the same time. Please don't give up mama. Be encouraged! Loads of baby dust to you! wowfairy: Hi mothers happy new week. I am really depressed and y'all are the only friends I have. I am tired of life and marriage I didn't expect it to be like this at all. My marriage is 3 years going on 4 but I have not had intercourse up to 100times since I got married. I got married as a virgin and I looked forward to having sex with my husband which didn't happen until about 2weeks in as my husband always lost erection. He hates sex or maybe it is me he hates I don't know. I have gotten Staph twice, pid once within this 3 years. He doesn't request for sex and when I do it's one excuse or another especially during ovulation period this is someone whose sperm count as stayed at 5million with poor morphology till date. He doesn't keep to doctor's appointment, use drugs judiciously . I have ran all test and I have no medical issues. How long will I continue to wait. I have prayed and fasted and I always attend special programs but It hasn't yielded anything. I am really tired of living like this |

Wow, hallelujah! Congratulations mama. Wishing you a stress-free 9 months. And may BFP go round in Jesus Name ANewMumIJNAmen: Hello mummys and daddys in the house! It's a BFP!!
God has done it for me!! I don't know how to thank him. To think that I was here last month ranting and crying. He immediately dried my tears. Thank you all for your contributions. Special thanks to mama Gloriousheart for all your kind words, may God bless you.
Widd: - I did HSG in April, result came out and everything was fine. Then we started follecular tracking. - My Dr placed me on clomid as I wasn't ovulating properly. He later increased the dosage. I ovulated but no conception. - He already placed me on glucophage. He mentioned PCO. I was also constantly on folic acid. - I cut down all carbs and almost stuffed myself with fruits and vegetables. Then proteins too. I started exercising too. - The next cycle, Dr placed me on clomid again and gave hatching injection to aid ovulation. I ovulated. Baby danced accordingly. Few days later, he gave me progesterone injection again. When it was time for my period, it disappeared (I don't know what's chasing it LMAO) - Then I have the most supportive, understanding and amazing hubby ever. We prayed and prayed and prayed. - Of course my gynae Dr. is incredible. Very patient, always ready to listen. Picked my calls whenever we called. Made sure you explored the cheapest options first. Dr Ernest of Pearl Creations in rumuigbo, God bless you.
I'm just grateful to God almighty. Covenant keeping God. He has promised, he will never fail. This miracle shall go round in Jesus name, Amen. |

Gloriousheart: May God grant miraculous bfps to all of us still waiting especially those who are tired. Those who have seen others come, get their bfps and moved on and yet are still waiting. I know how it feels. Like God, when will it get to my turn? It is well. Our time is here and Amen.
MY WIDD I got tired of trying on my own and decided to go further. I decided to try fertility treatments. And opted for IUI -Intrauterine Insemination. I made my findings looking for a reputable hospital with a record for successful IUI not just IVF. Towerofgrace's testimony of using St. Ivies, Ikoyi branch, Lagos and getting bfp gingered me. I found others who had successful IUI too with them. So I went to them- St.Ivies Ikoyi branch. Ikeja headquarters was nearer to me but I opted for the particular branch where I had heard real life IUI success experiences of mamas here.
During the course of my investigative tests with them, they saw hydrosalphinx in both tubes with one tube even enlarged. Hydrosalphinx blocks sperms from passing through for those who may not know. How will I do IUI with this? I started asking doc about IVF. Not that I had the money sef neither was I ready for IVF but I knew my chances were slimmer with IUI in light of that. My FSH was also higher than normal. Ah! Kilode? (wetin happen na) I didn't have all these before. What changed? Well, the doc -Dr Osahon of Ikoyi branch encouraged me to still do my IUI and look up to God for success. He never pushed me towards towards IVF even though it would have brought in more money for them.
He prescribed antibiotics for me for the tubes after my HSG. I also started doing castor oil massage which I learnt from here, though without the heating to avoid injury to my surgery site (I had had ovarian cyst removal surgery over a year ago). I just rubbed the castor oil on my tummy and slept off with it. I was told it will still penetrate into the reproductive system. I believe God used the HSG, antibiotics, castor oil and warm water therapy which I will mention next, to help clear the hydro from my tubes. Note that I stopped the castor oil before my IUI cycle cos I didn't want anything to disturb the process. Castor oil breaks down adhesions and corrects things. I felt it should have done enough abeg.
I and my DH had started the habit of drinking warm water every morning like an hour or 30mins before food... prior to the cycle I conceived. I even went further to also drink it last thing at night too for a few days. We had not even drunk warm water for two months complete before I conceived. It's just about a month plus we started it. I researched on it and I was amazed at the many benefits. I also avoided processed sugar and sugary drinks this period. I had actually cut down seriously on sugary things since I discovered they were not good for fertility few years back.
Hubby started Addyzoa like two weeks to insemination just to boost his sperm count though we were not battling with that.
Then St.Ivies does double insemination for two consecutive days. No extra charge. We did this.
I also relaxed and slept more on my left side during my successful two week wait. I also drank lots of water. I mean lots like a bottle of water every 3-4 hours. I was told it will help transport the sperms to meet the eggs. And help implantation. I limited my going out during my tww. Relaxed more at home just laying down on my left and only stepped out quickly for very important reasons. This was just to avoid stress that may hamper fertilization and implantation. In addition, it's advisable to wear thick socks during the tww to keep Uterus warm. I didn't wear socks but I wore thick palm slippers all over the house even in my bedroom.
I didn't pray much this cycle but I prayed sometimes and just asked God for mercy cos I was tired. But I remember that after last year's Shiloh, we were told to go home and praise God with our baby items for some nights. That is do like some minutes midnight praise every night. I really worshipped and praised my God for some nights that period lifting my baby item and pleading and crying sometimes for Him to show me mercy. My new phone even fell one of the nights and the screen broke seriously. I showed God my broken phone an and told Him to 'compensate ' me and crown my little efforts with success. To add to my faith efforts, I brought out my baby item to my sitting room to boldly declare the presence of children in my house. Any visitors that came could see it. I was tired of trying to be careful of not being too forward. Now I didn't care. I had kids in my house. Period. If you like ask me where they were. Na you sabi
To cap it up, God blessed me with my first bfp on my first IUI try after much tears, waiting, negative reports etc. To Him alone be all the glory. Thank you for reading. I hope I have been able to help or ginger some mamas. God will do it for us all. Wow, thank you Jesus! Congratulations mama. You'll carry to term in Jesus Name. And God who has done yours will bless everyone here and the main ttc thread with a BFP. You're right. St. Ives Ikoyi branch must be doing something right. They've got the highest success rate with IUI at first attempt from the reviews I've read here. Thanks to Adorablewifey whose review of them I first read. They're good. |

mummyjason: Amen!!!!! Thanks mama, we will go there next week by God's grace. Mama, a big sis of mine who uses Ayomide just told me that they like money. A good alternative with great success rate in IVF is Vine Branch Hospital, Ibadan. It's not far from UCH. Once you find your way to UCH area, ask around for Vine Branch Hospital, people will direct you. The turning is beside Thermocool warehouse. Registration + tests + consultation is 50k. IVF is 850k Donor egg (considering her age) is 150k or so. From my experience with them, they're result oriented and Dr. Kolade will handle the case himself. If a parameter will not work, he will not sugar coat it just to collect her money. They will rather find a solution to that first before proceeding with the IVF. Talking from my own experience with them oh. Baby dust to her! |

sayoddy: BS conclusion: I was praying through each contraction, confessing God's promises. When the contraction was consistent, I told hubby to carry bag to head to hospital. Just then, mil, who was a retired midwife came in. While I was being helped to the door, water broke and I was having urge to push and feeling something between. I was returned back to bed, hubby called doctor and a nurse was sent. (hospital was 10 minutes drive away). Mil took the delivery before nurse came. Baby came out at past 9am after a push. Baby weighed 3.5 with no tear. While I didnt have any s*x during this pregnancy, God made a way. I bless God for this blessing. I was calculating this labour by my previous birth that lasted 36hours but God made this easy for me..
May God visit gtc mothers and easy delivery to everyone.
Shoutout to March2018 and August2018 teams. The Lord has wiped away my tears.
Team June, we are mouthed! Easy delivery to the rest teamies. Missyblissy bs submitted Wow, thank you Jesus!!!! You're indeed the way maker and promise keeper. Thank you for your faithfulness over this family. For turning their mourning into dancing and causing men to celebrate with them. Thank you for the new name. Congratulations mama. I celebrate with you. Kisses to your baby. God's blessings always! |

Anonymous29: Good morning mama, pls ma what is the difference between pelvic scan and tvs. Can both serve the same purpose? Good afternoon mama, just seeing this. They're both forms of ultrasound. TVS means a Transvaginal scan..... in which a slim rod-like transducer will be passed into the vagina to view the organs in the female pelvic region. Pelvic Scan on the other hand is done externally. The transducer is placed on the pelvis (lower abdomen). The difference is that: 1) TVS often produces more detailed and clearer images than the external pelvic ultrasound. This is because the transducer is placed in the vagina and that makes it closer to the internal pelvic structures. 2) TVS doesn’t require a full bladder. So you won't be asked to drink water and hold your pee before scan. Your radiologist can opt to use either based on a number of factors: 1) Availability 2) Patient status eg TVS is not encouraged in virgins except highly necessary. In that case, a consent form will be required. 3) The best suitable for the particular organ your doctor is trying to view. Cheers! |
