booket:So no sex in lent? Hmmmm |
And this is how we recycle criminals. |
ggrin:Are you serious? Jega should provide security? Hmmmm |
They're more like sisters. Some variety would have been cool. |
Hmmm, this kind comparison na wa o. Osuofia doesn't have to put effort to make jokes, he just let's it out when he opens his mouth. And I hear he hardly goes by the written script. He know what to do and just goes ahead like an open tap. Can you remember his lines from Ukwa? "Ukwa ha chinaka, ona gba piom piom piom" " you would have told me my brother was living in a cathedral " "take me to where you take those Lagos girls to...let's go and eat isi ewu and pepper soup" I mean, his lines are so natural and unending. On Saka's part, he needs to do some creative work in order to show his skills. Yes, he is a clown. Facially, and in body structure. His mouth like that of a mouse is anough comedy. Well, I'll give it to Osuofia. But in a way don't we have different classes if comedy? I think both are not same when you look at Nigerian comedy. |
I think she never had the best business advice. All she needed was to make her internet business more professional by getting her own website. Also , building a team would have worked well with her. |
littlemistress:Are you a celebrity? |
adextetoo: Starting with most AGRICULTURAL RELATED courses imagine some one spending 5yrs in my uni (FUTA) to study:Are you for real SMH |
It is state land |
@OP, your advertising boss on the island doesn't know his job. As a good advert practioner, you have to know the various mediums available for advertising. A blog is a blog, while a forum is a forum. It's like comparing CNN to NatGeo Wild. They can't be the same. So, OP, you should educate your advert friend. Tell him you learnt a lot from Nairaland today. You learnt something you'll never learn from Linda Ikeji's blog cos mainly people without serious intellectual engagements find themselves on that blog. Don't get me wrong, it's entertaining (Linda's blog), but not for the serious minds. And again, don't forget that money and the real substance are miles apart. |
steadyguy: hello Nairalanders,Is the book in pidgin English? |
You left out the most popular of them all, Watermelon. |
Now people will start dressing anyhow :-( RIP RIVERS. |
Ceasar1: Sweet old times, I Loooove Sega.'Cornerkick' 'Goal header' |
baby124: How does the church member's dressing affect you in church. Until Nigerian's learn to mind their business and stop being sexually frustrated and repressed. Then will you have self control and focus on your life. Travel abroad and see what women are wearing. If you touch them all with the excuse that they tempted you, then you will begin to understand what self control is. In fact you will force yourself to learn it. It is not what is on the outside that matters but what is on the inside. For example, pastor Chris who dresses to a T is a big cheat. Those girls wearing revealing clothes probably have more favor in God's sight. God is not fooled by false pretenses and outside appearances for he sees our hearts. So learn to control yourself. When you see a woman dressed revealing, don't convince yourself that she is trying to tempt you. You may just get more than what you bargained for. Face the message in church and not the breast in front of you.lmaoRUBBISH!!! |
LearnLife: I'm also heading to Manitoba by December, for the winter semester, I just applied for my Trv last week...You guys are welcome to the Great Manitoba!!! |
I don't think these are the most powerful buildings in Nigeria. @poster, you can say "notable Abuja buildings." |
room089: A pleasant sight to behold!Yeah, they grow lots of okra here. Other cultures love okra too. |
sexyseun: Aunty Rita you are getting Old, Go and marry jooorBut she doesn't want to get married na. When she gets married now and the thing breaks in 2 years, you'll say celebrity marriages don't last. She's respecting herself now and staying single and zesy, you are drinking panadol. Hmmm. Face your work o, Uche! |

I don't quite like this front page thing that happened today. Now, we see people trying to derail the thread and calling TRV hopefuls lazy. Since when has being ambitious become a lazy thing? Since when has yearning for a multicultural experience become lazy? That 'Bishop' guy that lacks basic understanding should please name one standard University in Nigeria. Don't get me wrong I love Naija like nowhere else. But you don't lay down your life where the politicians are mainly jokers toying with human lives. Please if there's a way to take this thread off the front page it would be better. A person that need Canadian TRV info would certainly find it on the Travel section. Any true interested person is welcome to fetch from the bottomless well of knowledge here. We don't want passers by to chip in and call people lazy because they're travelling. Please. *whew* I don tire for talk. Oya Chrigo continue from here. Meanwhile, any info on average flight cost for Dec 27 to Jan 3rd? And who's off to Manitoba around that time. We fit ballout together. One love house. *muaa* |
Well, you have your drive to listening to a particular song. Those songs are not meant to teach you life morals. There are other songs for that, the ones you listen to and learn the art of living, inspiration etc. The trend in Naija music is not focused on morals. Nigerians want to dance away the sadness caused by the political class, hence and beat that makes them happy is an instant hit, coupled with massive airplay. When you're sipping something in the company of good friends and any of those songs you've listed come on, you need to see the joy it brings. That's the spirit of Naija hit songs, not necessarily the meaning. It's the liveliness!!! Let your mood decide what you listen to, or interchangeably put, let Naija hit songs brighten your mood. I love Naija songs |
Na wa o. Which wan we go believe na? |
