Hello House, Good evening. I got this message below and my eligibility and background check is still in progress. Oluwa weting dey occur. Even after gcms notes said eligibility failed as early as July. Is this just an acknowledgment of biometrics done long time ago or what could it mean? Why are they sending this now?

Hello People, GCMS has landed o. (I applied August 28th, and it arrived today) All but eligibility passed. I need expert reviews. I have already started online classes. I won't stop! I am positive about this. No turning back, no backing out now. I am not sad at all. Few things to note: 1. No solid study plan ( I thought I did a good job on that though - I need expert advice on that again) 2. No home ties (I used my siblings, i submitted our pictures together and their International passports and national IDs.) I have an IT company and I submitted all required documents from HR and CAC. No landed property was submitted. 3 LOE was ok but I don't understand this VO ( I guess I need to repackage). 4. All tuition paid. 5. Plan on where to stay was attached; I already had a lease agreement for 1 year 6. Showed enough funds. 7. Single 8. Course of study: Petroleum Engineering ( 9. First degree: Elect / Elect 10. Years of experience 10years (In IT - software development): Reason for petroleum engineering - I have done IT/Software projects with Oil and Gas companies where I mixed my IT and Electrical engineer qualifications throughout. For about 3-5 years in that. I explained this in my LOE and how it relates to my future career path. GCMS Note: (It was about 25 pages...I kind of appreciate the work these people do o. They actually verify a lot of things we ignore. They validated all my trips and even contacted school and all. I give them kudos. Please advise on how to repackage. I want to reapply ASAP after addressing the major issues. Egbons and gurus. I am on stanby for your assistance. I have two questions though: 1. Should I still apply with Petroleum engineering or get Electrical Engineering / Any IT related course ( I have skills in AI, I already have a Udacity Nanodegree in that - not worth going for that....) 2. What else do I need to do about the home ties? @fratermarty, @Anon123, @Osemigho, @frankbone1 ,@Akannimony and others, make una show please.. Thank you. 1 Like

Hello lovely people. Good morning. I appreciate everyone for the guidance and help rendered so far. This is supposed to be like a family where we share in happiness and sadness of everyone. It saddens me to see us trying to prove points. Everyone is entitled to their views and let us not fight on matters that even the schools and IRCC seem to still be debating on. They usually give generic information on high level basis. As you guys have said, let the GCMS speak and we should all be open minded on this matter. We should not throw shades at one another and tomorrow meet in Canada and hate on one another. We need more friends and do not want to convert friends to foes. Have a productive week guys. This is my birth month and I use that as a point of contact for new things (good news) for everyone. On a lighter note, for all the people throwing chairs at one another here, I go invite una on my birthday to come eat and drink (no alchohol for you if you will continue to fight) Much love guys. 10 Likes |

Well, this was what I got for the question I asked them. Who knows the modus operandi this period? There is no pattern so far as per how they issue AIP. Luckymama: |

Hello Everyone. Good morning. Please note that I asked @CitImmCanada twitter handler a question and here is the response. So, it means those who actually have AIPs are those who have not submitted full documents / requirements. i.e medicals / biometrics / police report where necessary. I hope this helps calm the nerves of those who submitted full application (those have upfront medicals / police report and biometric already on the system from previous application or done biometric before lockdown) Anyone can ask them questions and they will respond. We shall overcome! Have a good day guys. Cheers! NB: From the image below, my question is below and the answer is the one above it from IRRCC handle. 1 Like

Good evening house. Hope our day was productive and blessed. @JustMellow @Osemigho and anyone that can assist: I tried logging into my account this evening and i got this message: GCKey Revoked Your GCKey Username and Password have been previously revoked. Please try again using a valid Username and Password. What does that mean? I logged a webform last week with my medicals and police report and added a note that I did an upfront medicals and I got a response that the document has been forwarded to the Kenya Visa Office. See the message they sent to my email below: Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). We are pleased to confirm the reception of the following documents: Medical Report.pdf Police Report 2.pdf Police Reportpdf.pdf We have forwarded them to the responsible office for their consideration. Since your file is located at the Canadian visa office in Nairobi, Kenya, we invite you to also contact them in order to: Report important changes, Provide documents, Add a representative or designated individual on file, Obtain information regarding the status of your application, or Enquire on an outcome to a request. Please how can I get my account back. I have also created a new key and tried to link the application with my details but it could not find the application. Your assistance is needed please. Thank you. |

Hello House. Good afternoon. I applied for my study permit on 30th of June. Status is: reviewing eligibility and background. I did upfront medical and also submitted my police report certificate. I have already paid full academic fees and submitted evidence. My LOE and SOP explained everything and SOP too. I have letters and documents to back up my application. No feedback from IRCC yet. Did anyone here apply the same date (30th of June) and what is their status please? I also do not need biometrics as I did 2017, i was rejected then because I did not submit enough documents to prove funds and no SOP and LOE( I have corrected that in this application) and it stated on my profile my biometric ID and validity is till May 23, 2027. This means I do not need biometrics for this application. My tuition is $21,000 CAD and I provided $41,000 CAD in my application and attached statement of account to back it up. I also have a registered IT company and I attached letter from my HR and my CAC document showing me as a director and CEO with sample projects. I am a programmer by profession and studied Electrical Engineering as first degree. I am going to Canada to study Petroleum Engineering and I explained the reason why I applied for it because my projects and software development combines both software development, electrical engineering and petroleum engineering. I have detailed list of projects that shows the connection and all. Would this be enough to get an approval? I need an expert advise. I just checked status and it's still on Reviewing eligibility and background checks. I have also attached the status from my IRCC profile. Thank you.
