keeping that in mind another way it could creep into america is through diaspora "black" mixing.

FOR EXAMPLE: colombia has a relatively high arab population for example (< 700,000). Now if a black/arab colombian mixes with an AA, that's one way it can happen. Remember the guy from the show "The Wire", Julito McCullum?

If a Lebanese/black Jamaican mixes with an AA that's another way, you get me? we are not as homogeneous as other groups are genetically speaking.

@bold Of course and even since the abolition of slavery African Americans are able to mix more freely with whom they choose which obviously adds new characteristics to the gene pool that were not there during slavery.

Genetics has a funny way of organizing itself within individuals. For example in one of Kwame's videos, Don Cheade came out being 10-20 percent european (i can't remember the actual percentage) and look at how (wonderfully) dark he is

Between 10 & 12% European Admixture is usually quite typical for blacks of the diaspora. This tends to be the case regardless of how dark an individuals skin complexion is. Remember African genes are usually dominant over that of other racial groups. So it would only take a couple of generations before the mix is no longer visible.

I happen to know a few Jamaican people who are half East Indian/Black. If they do not tell you, there would be no way of knowing!!

Well it could always be possible, though Arabic is not typical ancestry for African Americans.
But who knows maybe some of the enslaved Africans taken to the US had some middle eastern ancestry.

I can see what you mean. Well the Arabs have been scientifically classified as Caucasian. So maybe that explains his resemblance with them, having paternal white ancestry.

I may like individuals if they hold certain qualities I admire, but to extend my love to a whole tribe or ethnicity whom I do not know personally
