arshavineering: So many kids here on nairaland like the two above. Declaring an event a state of emergency doesn't mean declaring the state lawless, it simply means declaring the event a national interest which needs to be accorded urgent response.

Peter Obi was in Haiti in 2010 after the earthquake with Bob Manuel, aside donating $200k he served as an aid worker with his son. A true leader who deserves to be called father of the nation. He is Nigeria's next 001
Nairaland mods deliberately pushing misinformation to frontpage. He said what they did in China and pulled 400m people out of poverty. Please mods correct the error.
FreeStuffsNG: It is this reality that major Northern political elites are convinced that power should return to the south which made HE Atiku throw up a tribal card.
Imo, the north did not reject HE Atiku per se but just believe that an Asiwaju Tinubu is the best at this time. check my signature for free stuffs!
Believe anything that makes you happy. By next year, we shall all see with our eyes who'll be d president of Nigeria
aboyaji: It's because they realize early in life that being too smart becomes a social obstacle so they downplay their intelligence to fit in. Gifted children are known to struggle socially in their teens due to this.
Smart people will often develop a habit of picking their battles because if they contribute to every conversation outshining everyone else with their intelligence, they are quickly seen as uppity and a know it all. For many smart people, it's hard to say anything at all without coming off as reminding everyone else of the disparity in intelligence. I believe there's some research that does show that being mentally superior is a social liability in a way that being physically superior is not. In other words, it's easier to be an athlete around non-athletes than it is to be a brainiac around non-brainiacs. Someone being too intelligent is instinctually felt as intimidating and stuck up.
For some smart people, they can't really hide their intelligence very well. It's built into how they speak. The way they structure their sentences. The cadence they use. Their vocabulary. In those cases, a smart person might choose to listen more and talk less so their intelligence is not dominating the social circle. So their intelligence isn't an elephant in the room.
Wizywiz: Bros no vex ooo..I learnt he was a senator..pls how did he become a senator? Was he handpicked to the red chamber..or he was voted in? Just asking
I tire o! some people will just talk as if they have the keys to the future. As if they are God. in this life, don't be too sure of anything because anything can happen. Hell Rufai said labour party would not have 200 people in kaduna. We know what happened.
Jones4190: 1.the establishment of the RRS police unit that have grown to be arguably the most equipped and professional police force in the country
2.the first successful Independent Power Project (IPP) by any state government generating substantial amounts of electricity to the National Grid was proposed and initiated by tinubu, it is functioning till today
3. initiated and the establishment of the lagos State Traffic Management Authority. LSTMA, they are far better that yellow fewer own by federal government 3.Creation of 37 Local Council Development Areas during his tenure to bring government nearer to the people, under peter obi, he didn't conduct local government election I fact he abolish local government
4.Effectively running his State without federal presence during his rift with the former president Olusegun Obasanjo. 5. Establishment of continuity of governance. I’ll like to explain this a little. lagos state is the only state in Nigeria with the least number of abandoned projects resulting from transition of governments. the past governors have all worked in tandem i.e the successive governments have always ensured that their predecessor’s projects aren’t abandoned to rot away (as obtained in many other States of the federation) all thanks to their visionary godfather who wields so much influence that none of his contemporaries has over their successors and this is why we call him the maker of men 6. the conception of the Eko Atlantic City, atiku happened to be the first person to build on that city, once it completed, atiku will stop going to Dubai. 7. the institution of a reform plan that greatly improved the welfare of judicial officers including magistrates. etc
You would notice that I didn’t saying he distributed this and that because anybody can buy anything with government funds and distribute as it doesn’t require any brain power. It would be petty of me to start listing when he shared ambulances, patrol cars, building of schools and hospitals and construction of roads because all those things are not worthy achievements to me because they are normal things most governors do however worse their regimes might be. In contrast, these same things I counted as being mediocre were the things you will listed as Mr Obituary’s achievements. copy
Lovelife433: And it's only dementia ipob that will vote for obituary datti. Both Thifenubu miscreants and ipob bastard can't rule Nigeria. Atiku I'd coming.
