Thank you!!!
O checked them and they said they have no data about me
omopapa:
If your bank account is closed and they didn’t give you a reason, you might want to apply for a data subject access request from CIFAS. It’s completely free and can be done online.

How do I get a credit report, please ?

I have an account with Experian.

Can I get it from them ?.

Plus we are barely 3months here

Jazzman95:
Absolutely no more. I went to the bank and they said they are unable to discuss it that they are no longer able to offer me banking services.

Read a few things about it on the internet and it looks like some form of profiling . The account has been operated with just small normal cash.

It’s a current account.

My wife’s account was closed with same message and she hadn’t even started depositing money in the account yet...

HSBC has been ok for me and Monzo but i wanted to be sure it’s not a general thing especially with Monzo cos I love the ease of banking Monzo offers...

More to this story..... Banks does not shut an account for no reason.......

- What type of account did you open?
- How was your account operated?
- How was cash flowing through your account?
- Any suspicious activities?
- Identity crises
Etc etc etc

Get a credit report, hopefully they have updated it.... Other banks would negatively view this closure, as a red flag....... Best to resolve it, before you move on, or attempt to move on..... Your new bank too can close your new account (when they eventually find out) ......

Hello all,
My account was closed with no notice by Royal bank of Scotland and they are saying it can take up to 60days to get my funds out.

1. Has anyone experienced something like this before and would it really take 60days?

2. What could have prompted this? And what other banks are safer to use, please ?

ajags80:
@kaylov and others waiting for Phone interview. Please see the summary;

Bio metrics and Interview, VI TLS Aug 26th. Complex/Not straight forward mail 14th Sept, Mail for Telephone Interview On 15th, Telephone Interview scheduled for 9.am but started at 9.30am today. The network was poor and the Interviewer had not interacted with many Nigerians in the past or my accent is too Nigerian. We kept having to go over every response I gave. I spelt out more than 50% of my feedback. These were the questions;

1. Why the school 2. Why the course 3. Why the UK 4. Which Other Schools did you consider. 5. What advantage does this school hold over the others 6.What are the modules, speak about how they fit into your Study goals. 7 What do you do? 8 What was your last academic course (MBA OAU,10 years ago) 9. Why the study gap,10. What has your salary been over the last 10 years. 11. How much will this Masters cost you, who is sponsoring you? 12. What are the Returns on this investment, how will you justify the amount spent 13 Where do you hope to work thereafter/what will you be doing after the program 14. What impact/value will this masters add to you? 15. Where did you get the INFORMATION that this value will be added. 15. Where will you stay, how far from school and how much will it cost you? 16. Have you been to the UK before 17. Has any other close family been to the UK before? (their names and why they visited) hmmmmm 18. Did you enlist an agent to help with your application (Name,organisation). 19. Do you wish to add any other information? 20 Do you have questions? End of Interview.

Not to scare anyone, it took about 1 and a half hours, I found it laborious, And i had to use my initiative. The session was just so stressful.

I hope for the best.
