EducationSocial Networking Vs Education by Jbravo58(op): 3:52am On Oct 04, 2014
Sometimes when I sit back
and analyze the pros and cons
of social networking sites like
facebook, 2go, badoo, twitter,
smiggle, BBM, etc on our
Nigerian society, I just weep
cos these internet
technologies have more
adverse effect on the level of
Nigerian students' academic
performance due to less time
students now devote to
studying/reading their books
when compared to the lion
share of their time which is
happily dedicated to chatting
and networking on the
internet via social networking
sites.
An average Nigerian student
spends 2/3 of his/her time
browsing or chatting with
friends and people he/she
don't even know than
reading his/her book.
This generally has affected
the Nigerian peoples' reading
habit. For instance, many
Nigerians in the past buy
novels and read to pass time
and to entertain themselves,
but that culture is gradually
going into extinction cos
youths now prefer to chat on
social networking sites than
reading their books.
Our government needs to do
something soon, cos this
Internet technology seem to
be doing Nigerians more harm
than good. Even employees
now spend more time
networking online than on
doing their paid jobs.
Now, do you agree that social
networking sites are
gradually killing academic
performance of Nigerian
students? If no, give reason
to back your claims. And
lastly, how has this
technology affected your
performance as a student or
as an employee?
Goodmorning and happy new
month to you all.

FamilyRe: Why Can't Single People 'Just Say No' To Married People? by Jbravo58(m): 11:28am On Oct 03, 2014
cococandy: Story time...

When I was in school there was this man I met at friend's wedding. Mr B.
He started asking me out seriously and trying his best to drive down from ph to owerri to come and pay me surprise visits at school.

Many of my hostel mates then knew him because he would come without informing me and if I wasn't around,he would wait outside the gate until I come back. Sometimes he would go if I came back late and then my friends would tell me ''that man been come again o. Ha''

One day he opened up and told me his pastor saw my picture on his phone and told him I was the one God revealed to him as his (Mr B's) wife. grin
Kept putting pressure on me to give him my parents' contact so that he'll make his 'noble' intentions known to them.
All that 'apparent' seriousness was to make me feel his a good guy with good intentions and make relax around him enough to open my legs.

As an asidesadI've even heard of guys going as far as introductory marriage rights to get into the pants of a very strict principled lady and disappear once their mission is accomplished. So don't think every single girl dating a married man knows he's married)

Continues..

Until one evening I received a message 'leave my husband alone. Go and find your own. Husband snatcher # **unprintable names**'

I was surprised no be small. So I called the number and confirmed truly that that was his wife. Mr B would travel all the way from ph to owerri to woo me and form Mr romantic while denying his wife at home.

The sad thing was that after trying to convince madam B that I didn't have anything to do with her husband like she thought and didn't even know he was married, she still saw me as the enemy while ignoring the fact that the onus of protecting their marriage rested on both of them and not me the single girl outside.

Well I tried to make her see that I was on her side but she was blinded by stupidity.

Kept saying she knew how her husband uses ladies and dumps them that it would soon be by turn to be dumped and her loving husband would soon go back to her.
That I should not think I've won as I'll be dumped like a piece of rag and he'll be with her the madam(main chick grin)
................................................................

That's the mindset some women have when their husbands cheat on them. It's always the fault of the girl outside. She seduced him. She charmed him. She did this or did that. Forgetting that the man made the first move of betraying his marriage by looking outside to start with. A man who's determined to cheat will cheat. Even if all the single girls outide reject his advances he'll do it with a married woman. The cheater is the only constant in that equation. He's the one that needs to be changed if a different result is desired.

I'm not saying this because I think women don't cheat. I'm saying it because it is women who are more unrealistic when cheated on.
That's what I like about men sha. Cheat on him and he sees the problem which is you.
But cheat on some women and they'll leave their problem(the man) and face the girl outside.
Nice word mam; really enjoy d 3mins teaching.

Family"Sugar Mummy" - Next Order Of The Day. by Jbravo58(op): 3:53pm On Nov 30, 2013
Seeing somethings around you that is wrong needs to be corrected, this has brought to my notice that; on almost every website we find ourselves in (including facebook etc.) we always find people advertising the word "SUGAR MUMMY". Who is a SUGAR MUMMY? According to a Nigerian giving the answer we would say "a sugar mummy is a person (female) who pays a male/man a certain amount of money to come and have fun with her, which is similar to prostitution. But it is clearly known especially in Africa dat its only females dat do prostitution, but we call this one "MAN PROSTITUTE"... My question now is that, When do men now become prostitutes who wait for sugar person outside in mid-nite? And what do you think that can prompt a man to go into this kind of ACT? and whats the way out for anybody involved in such an ACT?

Is there nothing ASUU also can sacrifice for the lifes of her students?
EducationWhats ASUU Own Contribution To Revive Nigeria Education Sector??? by Jbravo58(op): 11:14pm On Nov 28, 2013
STUDENTS sacrified their brains and destinies for 5-months just for the Educational Sector of Nigeria. PARENTS sacrified their children time at h ome, just for the Education Sector of Nigeria. PRESIDENT GOODLUCK sacrificed 13hours out of his own 24hours in a day just to get a good Education Sector in Nigeria. FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AS A BODY sacrificed a sum of almost 1.2trillion naira just to revive the life of the in comma Education Sector of Nigeria "the money they're expected to embezzel and use for campaign for 2015 or buy more new BMW armour-cars". Now our grand-father ASUU what do they want to sacrifice also for the almost dead Education Sector of Nigeriahuh I would suggest they also drop down their salaries of 5-months and return back to work as we also dropped down 5-months of our life span to stay at home facebooking and 2going all day long.

Fabulousuzo: for me, it balls down to understanding. How does she react when you guys have misunderstanding? Does she rub it on ur face that she's OLDER than you? If she doesn't, and she gives u ur deserve respect, then i see nothing wrong in marrying her
Thanks bro. but the main thing about her is that she gets angry alot for reasons only known to her and would never love sharing it.

Thanks to you all.
