Haha, that's not the spirit of the epistle. Some of us may not know exactly your trading strategy, like Osita I was finding it difficult to identify clearly his strategy may be short term investor, another Guru worthy of mention is Aj8 with his unique common sense strategy. Everyone is a guru in their tested and proven strategy. Just like Agba finds it difficult to comprehend Aj8's common sense strategy. Good morning Investors and Traders KarlTom: KarlTom is not a guru... |

How did some of us arrive at this conclusion? Who told you Loco is down or making losses? He may not believe compounding as the eight wonder of the universe but he ain't making losses. He recently purchased a property from the proceeds of his trades.
Loco enters big into liquid stocks and books profit big time as most of his targets are cyclical and makes no investment sense staying invested considering time value of money... Well I am not holding brief for him.
One of our respected NSEMPA Guru defines himself as a TradInvestor, every one mustn't be a long term Investor like Mankind to beat the market. Just know what works for you and stay put. Mega can't really be classified as a Long term Investor or at least Value investor, I will rather say He is a Patient Speculator and his strategy has made him a Billionaire though some say na Audio Billionaire nevertheless a Billionaire just like we discussed FO earlier; poorest Dollar Billionaire nevertheless a Dollar Billionaire. We also have AwesomeJ with his awesome billion trading strategy. Agba has a compounding strategy investing long term in mutual funds while Pa Emma has a compounding strategy investing long-term in value growth stocks. Personally, I have investment account for long term investment enjoying compounding and I have a trade account for short term trades multiplying liquidity after all cash is king, may be I am a unique kind of TradInvestor. Some others are Day Traders, Momentum Traders, Medium Term Investors e.t.c It is said that many roads lead to Rome.
You're the CEO of your portfolio is a popular slogan on NSEMPA, no one is the CEO of Loco's portfolio.
Me thinking aloud. |

We move.. Have you taken a look at ETFs, though some are illiquid. Momentum ositadima1: LOL, the moves were tactical. I wasn’t investing for the long term, so the actions I took should be judged across all the possible trades I could have made, not just a particular one. Yes, NGXGroup went on to perform "well", but their are others that didn’t. Just ask the people who bought Oando at 80 or 90, it’s been almost two years and the price still hasn’t recovered.
So, no regrets. I’m fairly satisfied with what I got from it. We move. |

I have read views and opinions but we all agree that DangRefine is a business and it's all about making money and not to serve/benefit the masses primarily. I still stand with my view that we need two or more mega refineries, as monopoly has never served/benefitted the masses. I appreciate the huge contribution of DangRefine to the nation but we need more refineries and even Impoorrters. Free market economy and resultant cheaper alternatives than monopoly. Hence, it may seem that I don't appreciate DangRefine but I don't celebrate monopoly either. Absolute power corrupts absolutely jckgroup1: Question for you.
What happened to Naira for crude deal? What happened to locally sourced crude or does it come through the strait of Hormuz?
What happened to crude stock? What happened to refined stock? And Reserve if any? Has Nigerians consumed all?
Three or more Dangotes and Nigerians will be alright. Monopoly has never served or benefited the masses. |

Let's say the government had allowed those importers, where do you think they will get fuel from given the global supply chain problem due to the Iran war? How do you think they will stabilise price in the face of subsidy removal and rising oil prices?
When subsidy is removed. prices follows the global price movements. Let's be intellectuals please. |

It didn't close at 150 yesterday, you only thought so. I think some already did some explanation. Valthegreat: I thought I am the only one seeing this, I don't understand at all, I bought some at 150 today but seeing yesterday's closing price as 136 both on my portfolio and on NGX site. And it actually started business today at 136, please who understands this? |

NGXGroup is a solid company and with the proposed mega listings in the near future equal to more revenue. Dividend and bonus already on the table, you no dey chop dividend and bonus? ositadima1: Lol, I didn’t have any specific reason for buying, it was purely by chance. I opened Morgan and saw the daily value, along with the huge imbalance between the bid and ask sides, and the way they were swallowing the offers. So I entered.
Since they’re not really moving it, I’m out. Good luck to those still inside. |

AliReza Arafi zendi: Well, let's hope we don't hear in the coming hours the voice of a brand new supreme leader calling on the revolutionary soldiers to defend the revolution and fight on to the end.
If that happens, then the war is only biginning, until American and Israeli boots go in to phisically take over and install a moderate government friendly to Trump and officially recognising the Nation of Israel.
In this latter case, oil price will surge from Monday. As we speak, Iran has already closed the strategic Hormuz Strait.
But oil bull will be short lived as the tsunami of Venezuelan oil is around the corner under the management of American energy companies who know how to overproduce.. |
