Madam Mercy,
It has been a while.
Welcome back🎉
yMcy56:
Very risky and somehow dumb..

Meanwhile, the Politicians have moved their discussions to the right thread probably.....sigh!

- On the other hand, absence of no positive news is impacting the market negatively....
- Retailers sighted trading mostly...while institutional investors were/are looking and possibly cross dealing here and there.....

Hopefully some good news can stem the tide sooner......otherwise....

Osita what's the chart saying now pls...

I don buy small ARADEL @1742......I hope I've made a right decision.....make the stock no fall officially o 😁
At least that one go still dey give person hope.....😊
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by jckgroup1(m): 12:37pm On Jun 02
Don't mind that......
Some of us can't stoop to his level.

mikeapollo:
But the same man approaching 100 years is still speaking out against a particular person (Obi) that he should not be allowed to become president!
So what stops him from speaking about the hardship in the country and the performance of the govt?

It is double standards; Prof Soyinka is obviously compromised by his close ties with Tinubu
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by jckgroup1(m): 12:32pm On Jun 02
Of what value are you on this thread? Just move to the thread where your nuisance value will be met with same or higher degree.

Obi is not Presidential, and Tinubu is presidential. Let me reserve my comment.

Oasisblue:
Imagine wanting a man approaching 100 years to speak for you. Nigerians wont ever stop to amaze me in their inanities. Wole Soyinka doesnt beleive Obi will make a good president and said as much when asked. I perfectly agree with the nonagenarian on this. Tinubu is a deeply flawed character and I have serious reservations about aspects of his rulership, but I have zero doubt an Obi presidency(wont happen) will be much worse.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by jckgroup1(m): 12:04pm On Jun 01
Ideally at the bolded.
In the last election, Tinubu won Rivers State... Was that ideal or reality? cool
isaacosas01:
For the highlighted, which of them favor Tinubu?
The North won’t vote for him because of religion.
As a matter of Fact Atiku and Obi being in the race is what guarantee Tinubu will lose, cause some core Muslims might not have liked Obi and might have voted Tinubu but with Atiku in the race nothing for Tinubu.

Isn’t it clear Tinubu has lost his bases especially the North. Where would he get the votes to replace the Northern votes he lost?

Obi has retained his based and gain with KO ticket
Atiku has gain due to Tinubu being a massive failure and Buhari’s death.
Tell me how Tinubu chances have improved.

See in El-rufia’s voice there is no pathway to Tinubu winning. At best he would come 3rd.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by jckgroup1(m): 8:38am On Jun 01
You didn't factor in; frontier market status, new re rating by different international organization and consequent FDI, if present administration continues after election which is likely... Then it is safe to conclude that market crash or very long term bear market is not in view.

Kindly note that there will always be market corrections and intermittent pull backs but long term bear market.

nosa2:
Look for the post that starts with

I’ve been looking closely at the shifting geopolitical landscape and global energy data, and I believe we are staring down the barrel of a massive oil supply glut. I’m repositioning my portfolio accordingly, and I wanted to share my thesis here to see what you all think.

its on page 3

Here is the thing, The conversation is not directly linked to TIP. TIP will just be a victim of circumstances beyond its control. Anyway I am not willing to have the discussion here, you can ask there.

P.S. I don't like having serious conversations here because it is impossible to reference them in the future and as such it feels like a waste of time.

Agba baller.
Agbalowomeri:
It depends on the investment goals. The reason we think of opportunity cost is because of the trader mindset which is not wrong in itself. Trading can give you short-term massive gain in bullish markets. On the very long term (say 5-10 years), those who have the holding power are the best winners. Again, we wey get tashere portfolio cannot wait that long grin. Those who are dividend investors can be accumulating a stagnant stock
Agba for a reason.

Congratulations to you AwesomeJ... More wins my brother.

Osita we no get two Osita @NSEMPAshocked

Celebrate with AwesomeJ your man cool
awesomeJ:
@ositadima2 and everyone else interested, market has been slow for a while now, this means even if I grow my portfolio more, it doesn't entirely translate to more trading volumes.

So I decided to shed some cash and buy my car, maybe perhaps cos you mentioned it too last week when we won the league.

It's a 2019 Rx F-SPORT with CLEAN TITLE. Too many salvage cars in this country.

Financing by Autochek.
Since I make much more than any cost of funds.

Insurance premium on the car is more than ALL my entire portfolio just last year.

God is Awesome! 🎉🎉

Happy Sallah to our Muslim brothers and Sis.

I quoted Mega because I believe his major portfolio is domiciled with Meristem. Hence, I will be grateful if anyone can help me out. It is official and very urgent. Latest 9:AM tomorrow, it has to be resolved.

Thank you very much🙏💕

Coolcash1:

Sunu, Ellah lakes, Royalex, Oando,NPL, Caverton and UBA.

Let’s cook together.
Which one is NPL please? UPL I know but NPL... Or do you mean NSL Tech or NPF police bank?
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by jckgroup1(m): 2:34pm On May 19
It successfully countered the assumption that management is cashing out, which actually triggered the sell off.

The sell pressure has nothing to do with Emma and his 'valuation'. IMO

ayobama1:
How does this alter the valuation concerns?
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by jckgroup1(m): 1:56pm On May 19

yMcy56:
By comparing small upcoming ZICHIS with DANGCEM?
Or by company a whole industrial giant with upcoming Agro Allied?
Why didn't he post since the stock was at N5, 10 when no one could even see to buy?
Immediately I saw his post, I knew he's up to no good on the company....
Like I said, Mr. Market will take it's due course...

Meanwhile, the whole full offer they're shouting is not even up to 10m, barely 8M
Where did you see the volume holders offers?

The ELLAH they badmouthed so much is still live on the Exchange, they'd wish it folded up but God pass man.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by jckgroup1(m): 10:17am On May 13

InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by jckgroup1(m): 2:48pm On May 01
Approved.

chimex38:
It's probably not hard to deduce.

Late entrants who subscribed to the public offer after TIP has achieved the SEC approved target, rather than refund them, the management can set up another Private placement arrangement of the exact excess amount approved at the AGM and use that to add to equity without returning the balance.

The only issue is, depending on the amount it will expand the outstanding shares far above what the initial PO and RI especially if the excess is substantial.. But if AGM approved it, no issue.
(my thought though)
