InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by jckgroup1(m): 1:47pm On Feb 06
Thank you for your response🙏💕

Though, I think Cornerstone should make the list. The CEO stated emphatically they are fully recapitalized and looking to acquire other insurance coys.

Stockpromoter:
If you sold your stocks too early and you still can’t forgive yourself seeing them do 300%–1000%, this is for you.
Don’t beat yourself up. The market always gives second chances, just in different clothes.
Right now, that second chance is in insurance — especially names like AIICO Insurance, Mutual Benefits Assurance, Veritas Kapital Assurance, Consolidated Hallmark Insurance, Linkage Assurance — and of course Royal Exchange Plc — plus similar plays.
Post-recapitalization, insurers that successfully meet capital requirements will put a very big smile on investors’ faces.
The strategy is simple:
Accumulate between now and end of March
From April, recapitalization news starts doing the heavy lifting
Balance-sheet strength, not regret, will be rewarded
Don’t regret missing yesterday’s runners —
but if you miss insurance stocks that survive recapitalization, even heaven might reject you 😄

Boss, I like your investment strategy.
No emotional attachment to any stock, purely business of making money.

Thank you for the response.

I am not in... I was thinking the stock was returning to base, thought that mere publication can't justify the very strong rally. The market has its own mind. It is what it is.

PuristForest:
Yeah...i know it can look confusing however, i still think that one wave is still missing, so we may see it hit like 7.25 and down again ti like 6 before the real move begins..........
if you are in, this does not mean to sell but to let you know incase anothermove down ensues.......Enjoy
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by jckgroup1(m): 12:31pm On Feb 06
Kindly list those likely to recapitalize, since you seem to be well informed wrt insurance coys.

The challenge is to sieve out those that will soon cease to exist... One or two will definitely go into oblivion grin

Stockpromoter:
Many stocks Loco pointed out in the past have rewarded massively today.
Back then, people dismissed them as junk, dead, or stocks without numbers.
Fast-forward to today:
Some of those same stocks are up 300%, 400%, 500%, even 700%, with numbers now improving clearly.
Names like NPF, RT Briscoe, Multiverse, TIP, Champion, SCOA, NCR, FTN Cocoa, Caverton, etc., were all once mocked. Today, the market tells a different story.
📌 Lesson:
The market doesn’t reward popular opinions. It rewards early positioning before fundamentals turn obvious.
Today, Loco is not relenting on insurance stocks—and for good reason.
Right now, the insurance sector is in a balance-sheet strengthening phase, not a price-appreciation phase. This is exactly how opportunities look before major repricing.
🧠 What’s happening now
Capital strengthening
Recapitalization pressure
Cleanup of weak players
Foundations being laid, not hype
📈 What comes next After recapitalization:
Some insurance stocks will trade above ₦70
Some will reprice to ₦20–₦30
Others to ₦10–₦20
Those that cannot meet recapitalization requirements will merge or be bought out.
Those that meet and exceed requirements will emerge far stronger, and prices will reprice violently upward—the same way many “dead stocks” did in the past.
⏳ This is the positioning phase, not the celebration phase.
By the time the numbers look perfect and the crowd returns, the easy money is gone.
Take position early. History is repeating—only the actors have changed.

*Chams: Court-Endorsed Arbitral Award Strengthens Going-Concern Outlook*

_By Gilbert Ayoola_

Chams Holding Company Plc has notified the investing public, via the Nigerian Exchange Limited website platform, of a significant legal development involving its subsidiary, Chams Consortium Limited. On December 11, 2025, at the Federal High Court sited in Abuja, in a ruling delivering a judgment affirming a Final Arbitral Award in favour of Chams Consortium Limited in its dispute with the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC).

In its ruling, the Court upheld the validity and enforceability of the arbitral award, confirming that the arbitral tribunal was properly constituted, acted within its jurisdiction, and conducted proceedings in line with applicable law. The judgment followed an application filed by Chams Consortium Limited arising from a concession arrangement between the parties.

From a financial markets perspective, the judgment materially strengthens Chams Holdings’ going-concern position. Court affirmation of the arbitral award significantly reduces legal uncertainty around the long-running dispute, improves the visibility of potential economic benefits arising from the concession, and mitigates downside risks associated with adverse litigation outcomes.

The ruling also reinforces the group’s balance sheet resilience, as enforceable arbitral outcomes enhance the likelihood of recovery or settlement, supporting cash flow prospects and overall financial stability. This is particularly relevant for investor confidence, given the strategic importance of identity-management related contracts to Chams’ business model.

Corporate Governance and Business Continuity
Beyond financial implications, the judgment underscores the effectiveness of Chams’ governance and contractual discipline. The Court’s validation of the arbitral process reflects positively on the company’s adherence to due process, rule of law, and structured dispute resolution, key pillars of sound corporate governance.

Strategically, the outcome affirms Chams Holdings’ continued existence as a viable operating entity, strengthens its credibility with public-sector counterparties, and supports the sustainability of its operations within Nigeria’s regulated environment.

Chams Holding Company Plc has indicated that it will make further disclosures, in line with NGX requirements, should there be any material developments. For investors, the ruling represents a clear positive, removing a major legal overhang and reinforcing confidence in the group’s long-term operational and governance framework.

Chief, what's the common sense target for Univinsure?

I think your revised target for TIP is conservative though I understand the premise but Q1 result most likely will sort that out. It is better conservative than otherwise anyways.

Gracias!

Suspension likely to be lifted soon.

What is the job of your broker?

Ask your broker and they will buy it for you if you want.

Your broker should advise as to it's life condition and activity status.
But I assume that ftginsure (Stdinsure) is in glut at the car park, for now.
Nobody wants it, for now.

Yet I think it's neither delisted, nor suspended, nor traded, nor completely dead as a going concern.
