I think you are right. @Ijeelux post prompted me to switch Glo data to 4G on my Oukitel C11 Pro... behold! it is connecting on 4G!

Oukitel C11 Pro 4G bands doesn't have Glo Nigeria's 4G band 28. I guess Glo are operating on more bands now

Oukitel C11 Pro 4G bands are: 1, 3, 7, 8, 20 only.

since they are both meeting at the battery head, whats the use of separating them?.. some high end smrt inverters have solar or grid priority setting, and this may ony allow one charging point if configured properly.

in all my set ups, have never bothered separating the 2 charging sources,, and zero issues, ikewise many folks here.
observed in mine..that depending on the state of charge of the battery, the solar charging is throttled down a bit when grid charging kicks in

One reason why I am all for separation is to actually cut down on electricity bill.

Some Solar Power installers erroneously do not separate AC mains charging of connected batteries from charging through solar charge controller.

To my surprise every installer I have spoken with that this is wrong do not see anything wrong with this. They are of the opinion that when the AC mains and solar charge controller are switched on the higher supply of the two takes over charging.

Please experts let's put forward here the best practice.

My only problem with this solar inverter is that the battery hardly lasts. My friend installed one and before 1 year the battery packed up. Is there a solution to this?

Some of the reasons for this:

Overloading the system - that your inverter can run 1KVA load does not mean running it to maximum capacity always

Over draining the batteries - don't run your inverter power till the battery low buzzer comes on

Undercharging the battery - as much as possible ensure your battery is fully charged at least once a day.

Bro ur issue is simple.if u are using smart LNB connect a cable to unicable direct to ur explora then there is another output there called universal.connect a cable from it to the HD decoder to give it signal .lobatan.For the switch pick ur signal to the HD decoder from any of the 5 way out of it.since u said they are using it already with the explora.

Maybe the LNB (or switch) is not right/compatible?
