There is no doubt in my mind that Obasanjo has cut a deal with APC. Obasanjo's history: By now, it must be clear to all except perhaps the blind that President Olusegun Obasanjo is a man of grand delusions that borders on outright blasphemy. Nigerians would recall his allusion to divinity in explaining his decision to stand for reelection in 2003. Well, as far as the third term project goes, God finally spoke to Olusegun Obasanjo last week, but in a manner he least expected. Imagine the situation in the North East happening all over Nigeria! Already there are bomb blasts, brutal mass killings at random points in Nigeria too. APC beating the drum of war? This certainly is not the change Nigeria needs. Are they saying we should get ready for worse blood-letting having in mind what happened after the 2011 presidential election? The blood of the ordinary Nigerians wantonly spilled. Can we say violence runs in their blood and they cannot help blurting it out? |

Do people fall in love faster online? NO Is it possible to find someone you will love online? YES Can you find a wife/husband to be online? VERY POSSIBLE. Very useful relationships can be established over time e.g. same and opposite gender friends. For whatever reason you interact with people online, do not get carried away. Online meeting may or may not transcend to physical meeting. I have made several friends online; Nigerians home and abroad and foreigners too. |

Joker: Wanna know how I got these scars? My father was... a drinker. And a fiend. And one night he goes off crazier than usual. Mommy gets the kitchen knife to defend herself. He doesn't like that. Not-one-bit. So - me watching - he takes the knife to her, laughing while he does it! Turns to me, and he says, "why so serious, son?" Comes at me with the knife... "Why so serious?" He sticks the blade in my mouth... "Let's put a smile on that face!" Bishop: Oh, please, have mercy... have mercy... V: Ahh! Not tonight, Bishop....not tonight (slashes the Bishop) - V for Vendetta Jaguar Paw: I am Jaguar Paw, son of Flint Sky. My Father hunted this forest before me. My name is Jaguar Paw. I am a hunter. This is my forest. And my sons will hunt it with their sons after I am gone. - Apocalypto and this: Rocco: "There's two kinds of people in this world when you boil it all down. You've got your 'talkers' and you've got your 'doers'. Most people are just talkers, all they got is talk. But when all is said and done, it's the doers who change this world. And when they do that, they change us. And thats why we never forget them... So which one are you? Do you just talk about it or do you stand up and do something about it? Because believe you me, all the rest of it is just coffee house bullshit." - The Boondock Saints II - All Saints Day. |

freecocoa: And people are to do the above only"of you see death staring you in the face"?Not only then freecocoa. A reality dawns on man when he sees imminent death. |
Very sad and heart wrenching. If you see death staring you in the face, please make peace with God for life in eternity. Ask God for mercy, ask Him to forgive you of your sin, acknowledge you can not save yourself - no, not by your good works - believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that you accept Jesus Christ as your saviour. |
http://news.uk.msn.com/articles.aspx?cp-documentid=161197140 Israeli President Shimon Peres has spoken of the tremendous personal sacrifices demanded by his political career, admitting that the decisions he made meant he never had a restful night. In this world exclusive clip showing the opening of The Price of Kings - the latest in a series of twelve feature-length documentary films profiling world leaders - the 87 year-old, referred to by many as the 'father of Israel', reveals himself to be a reluctant leader who has accepted the responsibility of power at a significant personal cost. Describing himself as "a prisoner of circumstances", he admits, "Leadership is not a very happy engagement... What is better, to be a Machiavelli, smart and strong? Or to be naive? I didn't go to sleep easily - never." MSN was the first media outlet to be given access to the controversial film, which premiers in the UK on Thursday and presents a candid and emotional glimpse into the life of the statesman. Twice prime minister of Israel, Peres boasts a political career older than the Jewish state itself, spanning more than 66 years and launched with high ranking military and diplomatic role in Israel's War of Independence. He was first elected to the Knesset in 1959 and has served in leadership positions continuously since, representing a total of five different political parties. "People started to shout at me, 'killer, murderer, look what you did to us!' Perhaps his most notable, and contentious, political triumph was as architect of the Oslo Accords - an historic peace deal stuck with the Palestinians in 1994, which earned him both the Nobel Peace Prize and the hatred of many nationalistic Israelis, who claim Peres' sacrifice of Israeli claims to land in the West Bank was an act of supreme betrayal. The Oslo peace process, driven by Peres and overseen by prime minister Yitzhak Rabin, was the first time Palestinians and Israelis had met for formal negotiations. They resulted in Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat denouncing terrorism, recognising the Jewish state of Israel and accepting a claim to 24% rather than 48% of the traditional lands of Palestine. Shimon Peres: The Price of Kings One of the many Israeli extremists who were outraged by Oslo assassinated Rabin during a peace rally in November 1995. The tragedy propelled Peres back into the role of prime minister as Israel was hit by a campaign of bloody suicide bombings, for which many Israelis held him personally responsible. "People started to shout at me, 'killer, murderer, look what you did to us!'... I stood stunned What could I say?... My heart was broken but that was not a reason to change my mind about peace with the Arabs... I felt more obliged," Peres explains, demonstrating a characteristic prioritisation of public duty over personal cost. The film also dwells on the damage that political responsibility has wrought on the president's family life, in particular on his late wife, Sonia - "the great love of my life". Sonia Peres opposed her husband's decision to accept the presidency in 2007 and refused to move with him to the presidential residence. She died in January last year. "I think I did my duty, occasionally mistakenly but always in good faith" In an emotional interview, his grand-daughter Mika reveals that she and her family struggled to accept that for her grandfather, Israel was always the priority. "We know we don't come first," she says. "As a teenager I felt angry about this. It's not easy to accept.". Richard Symons, the British film-maker who was granted unprecedented access to the Israeli president said him a conflicted man: " He was ready to reveal what it's like to send men to die, sacrifice family for country, compromise your conscience - basically take the most difficult decisions a man can take and then live with the consequences. "He has overseen the building of this country and is now in a position where the peace process is not moving forward and he [as president] cannot legally criticise the government. We got the impression he felt handcuffed." Despite acknowledging candidly the many frustrations and shortcomings of his political and personal life, Peres maintains a philosophical acceptance. "I think I did my duty, occasionally mistakenly but always in good faith and with a sense of obligation," he says.

Sagamite your response = denial of The Truth. Please, read Hebrews 1:1-3, John 1:1-18 |
@Sagamite Obatala - yoruba god, do you believe in him? You should know Jehovah-Elshaddai made him. Do you know Obatala in person? Did you live in his days on earth? You do not believe there is a Heaven, neither do you believe Hell exist too. What do you know about Obatala? How did you get knowledge of him? Where is he now? |
@Sagamite. God your creator is using me to tell you that Heaven is real, Hell is real. He (God Almighty) will not force you to accept His truth about your life and His creations though. Some Pastor will end up in Hell. Do not let their conduct deter you from seeking God and accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour from eternal damnation. You will answer for yourself before God after life on earth! Do not shut your mind to the Holy Spirit of God speaking to your heart. |
One of the wisdom of God is death being a common denominator to all human. Unfortunately we mostly are foolish, we live life as if we know the next second. You reading this, get ready to see your creator. Heaven is real, Hell is real. No man can save himself, better pray to God earnestly to save you. In God's presence no man can stand, He is that awesome in power and strength. We see fellow men and try to justify our sin. A day comes when you will face God alone, without His life in you, you are condemned already to everlasting damnation. |
@ Musiwa you sure are one joker ain't you? 24hours electricity supply all over Nigeria in a year? You think that Aladdin's lamp is reality whereby you wish and a genie gets your wish accomplished? No doubt that if you get to be President you will have no clue how to run your government. Have you taken time to know the factors that getting that done entails? |
Let all unemployed adults be paid certain amount every two weeks. Reduce the fat monies going to executive and legislative arms of government. Individuals stash billions of Naira abroad, let such be retrieved & used to build infrastructures. |
Explosive materials will not just explode. It has to be wired up first, so it could be handled as seen on TV. 'Mysteries' of crime are not so mysterious, criminals observe things that one will generally overlook to operate. I pray God will utterly uproot all forms of terrorism in Nigeria in Jesus name. Amen. |
