Health / Therapeutic Massage And Its Benefits by jediknight(m): 11:25am On Mar 22, 2015
Did you know Massage Therapy is one of the oldest health care practices known to history. References to massage are found in Chinese medical texts more than 4,000 years old. Massage has been advocated in Western health care practices at least since the time of Hippocrates, the "Father of Medicine." In the fourth century B.C. Hippocrates wrote, "The physician must be acquainted with many things and assuredly with rubbing" (the ancient Greek term for massage was rubbing).

There are various types of massages. A few are listed below;

Swedish Massage
Aromatherapy Massage
Pregnancy Massage
Shiatsu Massage
Thai Massage Deep
Tissue Massage
Sports Massage
Back Massage

The benefits of Massage therapy cannot be overemphasized and has a number of documented clinical benefits. Some conditions that massage therapy can help are: allergies, anxiety and stress, hypertension, arthritis, asthma and bronchitis, carpal tunnel syndrome and other repetitive motion injuries, chronic and temporary pain, circulatory problems, depression, digestive disorders, tension headache, insomnia, myofascial pain, sports injuries, and temporomandibular joint dysfunction.

Its great that the state is doing stuff  like this. it'll be so cool and practical if it gets to work and that is if its done "well and right". it will create loads of jobs, generate revenue revenue for the state. it'll propel lagos into a level of development which its meant to have achieved decades ago.

I wonder how the state is going to create power (electricity) to run it?

bodsibobo:

Is it oing to run on electricity, coal, or steam?

If it's the 1st, then they ougt to get Power right first.

light rail = tram = metro= Mainly electricity but several systems in Europe, as well as a few recently-opened systems in North America use diesel-powered trains

    Maybe its smog where u guys are but its definitely Harmattan where I am (Warri). Heres a simple but very practical check;  Turn on your radio/TV (not cable/satellite) and tune and see how many extra stations u'lld receive, I did and virtually all the choice Lagos channels were queing up in my wired radio. now thats not becos of SMOG!.
    Before Cable TV and satellites brought TV much closer, the Harmattan season used to be the choice season becos of the options it gave in terms of Tv stations, So unless someone can prove SMOG also does that, then its got to be the big H making a late return which isnt even that strange considering we barely had any at all in the season it was due. The wooden doors, and furniture all around are responding to the familiar stretch of the Harmattan and U'd think we would recognize our African winter whenever it chose to come. Relax its Gods relief from the blazing heat

Dude!

There's no way you can prove what ur tryn say. you haven't provided any concrete evidence.

Everybody is an ethical hacker in Nigeria as long as you dont get caught. Do you know how many languages there are in nigeria ? O.k, let's say you have a complete dictionary in Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba. What if the sys admin is an ijaw man or nupe lady and they incorporated parts of their language into the system ? What can you do ? Every network is special and its up to you to do your homework and find its weakpoints. As they say, there are many ways to kill a rat. Try Social engineering. cheesy cheesy

O boy! you haven't proposed a solution forward. I know of all the variables you mentioned already. The koko is do know/ have a dictionary/ word list i could use?

Guy. why do you want to hack somebody's wireless networks ? Dem chop your money ? Dat being said, i have a 10GB wordlist dictionary that can permutate and bruteforce wpa keys. Add that with a fast cpu and lots of ram, you are in business. For the rest, google is your friend.

Dude its just some ethical hacking I'm doing. I have been thru google and I do have a decent word list. the issue is that those pass-phases/ passwords that can be cracked are kinda language specific. I'm pretty sure they cant crack a password that written in a 9ja language. i'm pretty sure the u cant crack my password if it was Nigbatigbati?

or shld i send u the CAP file and lets see the guru in u do it

What you need do is sit back and live the short life you have to the fullest as there is no other after this.

Anything else is just a sad waste of time

@Topic,

Nice one, U don ginger my spirit.

@
islet:

It takes a lot of inner strenght, boldness and belief in yourself to resign from your work. But sometimes its neccesary and a step in the right direction. I did just the same thing on friday last week. I resigned from work because i couldnt slave a minute longer in the name of marketing. They gave me unbelievable target of five million naira monthly for a stockbroking firm that aint really known. I spent all my life savings , close to 45k, trekking to and fro, making local and international calls, browsing and chatting with would be investors, getting clothes cos they said looking good would make an impression. Not to talk of their incompetence , lack of efficienc y and ancient methods or deceptive ways of treating clients.I tried my best to do all i could to help them improve it all but the last straw was when the management backed out on the initial agreed pay of 40k and said since we didnt meet target we would be payed only 10k travelling allowances. God i was furious. I had spent more than 45k out of my lean savings for christs sake. How can i be worth only 10k to this people, a graduate for that matter. So i quit with my dignity intact. I know i will get something better but as long as i live i wont forgive that company cos they made me resign from my former workplace where i was paid 30k. So i would make sure i bring them down if that is the last thing i do.

Men, ko easy. i feel u bruv. No worries, God is good: u'll get what's due to you, u've paid ur dues. Good stuff will come knocking sooner than u know.

@everyone else and my humble self

we'all shld keep putting in our best in all we do, do the right thing, pray and leave the rest to G.

I just got Ubuntu 9.04 and intends to install it on my pc, but before I do, I want to be sure I can configure it to connect to the internet with starcomms or visafone. Any help here guys?
I hope this is not a dumb question?

Most of the isp connecting devices would work,  i'm pretty sure of starcomms aircard 580 pci card, zain's usb modems work too, the ones made by hawei or smthn.  as per the visafone (ADU-510), mine isnt working, that's what I'm tryn to get help here to fix, maybe their other devices might work,   but in general Ubuntu supports most modem devices out of the box all u have to do is configure the username and password.

@jediknight from your messages i see that your device has been detected
(generic converter now attached to ttyUSB0)
maybe i can help you with your wvdial config; what network are you on?
if it's starcomms then we don't have a problem (since i use starcomms myself
i can tell you what exactly to do) if not you will have to give me some information
while using the modem in windows; (i take it your modem is working in windows
right?)
anyway from windows while you are connected go to the command prompt and
type ipconfig /all and paste the output (the part that has the ppp connection)
also i will need to know the phone number or better still if you think you can handle it
yourself this is what you have to do:

type sudo wvdialconfig in your terminal window

, to be continued

@Blackweaver,

Thanks for your replies and continuous help.

The sudowvdialconfig doesnt work, bash returns not recognised command or smthn.

attached are some screenshots. I fooled around on my own the wvdail kinda tried to work but got an error from the modem.

@jedi my mistake it should have been "sudo modprobe usbserial vendor=0x05c6 product=0x1000"

so try the process again:

"sudo rmmod usbserial"
sudo modprobe usbserial vendor=0x05c6 product=0x1000"
sudo modprobe option"
"dmesg | grep tty"
give me outputs of: "dmesg | tail"
and "tail /var/log/messages"

you ARE using ubuntu9 aren't you?

@Blackweaver,

Thanks once again.Yes i'm running Ubuntu 9 (jaunty)

Below are the results. I don't think it working yet, it hasn't come upon the network manager.  i tired the wvdial thingy too, it didn't work or maybe i didn't configure that well.
