What stopped you from updating via other thread when the original thread was closed? You were cajoled not to? People would have been able to deciphy it was delay tactics, when you eventually came along, you excuse was lame and you went MIA again, you want us to be calling you on phone abi? No one deserves to cry more than the bereaved. On a second thought, how come someone with a known address to you, no distance barrier was able to do all these to you and easily got off the hook. Call your bank, tell them this same thing you told us. Next time do not delay. Once you suspect fraud or you are defrauded like in your case, call them immediately.

Buyer wanted a BRAND NEW phone and the seller gave him a USED phone. That is FRAUD. No two ways about it. No other discussion should be allowed on these streets.

If I were the OP, I won’t even have any conversation with him. I will take it up as a fraud case from my end immediately. My only goal would be to recall my funds COMPLETE, not swap anything. If he had a new one, he wouldn’t have sold a USED to me and I don’t even trust him anymore. So I no do again!

OP, go for a FULL REFUND of your money. No one should defend this.
