A Nigerian high court judge has revealed he his not the father of the three children he had with his ex-wife. According to Anthony Okorodas, a high court judge of Delta state, his marriage to his ex-wife, Juliet Okoto, ended 11 years ago due to her unfaithfulness. Mr Okorodas made this known in a statement he released last week, where he confirmed through DNA testing that neither of the three children with his ex-wife were his. READ FULL STATEMENT BELOW Ladies and gentlemen of the Press, I thank you for attending this press conference. I have taken the decision to address the Press in respect of certain traumatic developments that have arisen between me and my ex-wife, Barrister Celia Juliet Ototo of the Ototo Family of Ovom in Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State. It is now nearly 11 years since our separation and divorce. This Press Statement is important in order to prevent damaging speculations, half-truths and outright lies from persons who may want to cash in on the tragedy that has befallen my home. Sometime during the coronavirus lockdowns early last year, I received information from an anonymous source that indicated that the last of the three children from my previous marriage was in fact not my biological child. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions at the time, I had to wait until August 2020 to carry out a DNA test. The DNA test result which came out in September 2020 confirmed that I was not the biological father of the child. Consequently, I convened a joint meeting between my extended family on the one side, and Celia’s paternal and maternal families (i.e., the Ototo Family of Ovom Town and the Agbagidi Family of Yenagoa Town) on the other side, where I confronted her with the paternity fraud allegation. Although she initially strongly insisted that I was the biological father, she has since confessed to having the child with another man during the course of our marriage. This repulsive act of my ex-wife prompted me to conduct DNA tests in respect of the two other children. A few days ago, the results came out. Sadly, none of them is my biological child. This abomination has caused excruciating mental trauma to me, my present wife, Barrister (Mrs) Ebi Okorodas and all of the innocent children involved. This is particularly so for Ebi, who has had to agree to have DNA tests on the four children of our own marriage. Thankfully, the test results confirm each of them to be my biological child. It is important to state that Celia walked away from the marriage when her youngest child (who is now 17 years of age) was just 6 years old. Since then, all of her children have lived with my wife, Ebi and I, and we have been wholly responsible for their wellbeing and education. Friends who are close to my family would readily attest to the fact that unless specifically informed, no one could tell that the children were not the biological children of my present wife. Ebi and I would continue to support the children in any way that we can. Indeed, even after the release of the first DNA test result which proved that I was not the biological father of the last child, we have continued to pay for his education in a private boarding school. The two other children are University undergraduates. The first, a female, will be a graduate later this year, and the second will soon enter his 4th year of study. We pray for them to overcome the trauma and become responsible citizens of our country. For Celia and her boyfriend or boyfriends, we leave them to their conscience. Thank you very much. The Hon. Justice Anthony Ezonfade Okorodas, PhD. Judge High Court of Delta State January 28, 2021. https://xpresstvnaija.com/metro/high-court-judge-cries-out-as-dna-test-reveals-three-children-not-his/

Francis Wale Oke, founder and Presiding Bishop of Christ Life Church Worldwide, has narrated how God supposedly killed a lecturer of the University Of Lagos (UNILAG), who repeatedly failed his daughter for refusing to have sex with him. In a video that surfaced online, Pastor Oke said the late UNILAG HOD failed his daughter for two years for refusing his sexual advances. He claimed to have prayed against the lecturer after his daughter brought the issue to his notice, and God answered by killing the HOD in an accident on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. He said, “One of my daughters was being harassed – it was the University of Lagos. The lecturer was on her. He demanded to sleep with her before she would pass the course – a man old enough to be her father, very wicked evil man. And the girl said ‘I’m a child of God, I’m born-again’. He said ‘You! How many of you that I have dealt with! Okay, stay there. You won’t leave my department. I will make sure you fail that course,’ and the course is compulsory. If you don’t pass, you can’t move on. “She failed the first time, not that she failed, he failed her. She just grumbled. She tried to pray, fast, nothing changed. She failed the second time. And by the rule of the department, she would have to withdraw. “So, she came to see me. I was very angry. I have a daughter, how can one filthy old man, because he is a lecturer, want to sleep with my daughter? I would forget that I’m anointed; I would cut off your head. Evil, wickedness. When she was talking to me, she was crying. I stood on my feet and when I stand on my feet like that, be careful. I didn’t wait to pray for her. I said, ‘O God, judge this matter.’ Don’t let a prophet pray against you. It’s dangerous. “I had tears in my eyes. Two years of her life had been wasted and the man still insisted: ‘Whatever department you go, I would pursue you there, I must sleep with you.’ ‘O God, judge this matter.’ Two weeks after, that evil man with another girl he had been sleeping with, they were travelling to Lagos – true story. Along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, they had an accident and the two of them died. My God killed him. ‘O God, judge this matter.’ When they were going to appoint another head of department to replace this evil man, they appointed a Redeemed Christian Church of God pastor.” Watch Video Below... https://xpresstvnaija.com/metro/pastor-narrates-how-god-killed-unilag-lecturer-seeking-sex-from-his-daughter/ |

An Ikeja High Court on Wednesday acquitted a lawyer, Yetunde Sousa, accused of stealing N50.2Million from Dominos Stores and Ozone Cinemas. Delivering judgment, Justice Raliat Adebiyi held: “the state failed to establish a prima facie against the defendant as there was no nexus linking the defendant to the allegations”. Acquitting Sousa, Adebiyi held that Sousa only acted in her professional capacities in the lease of the property in question. NAN reports that the Lagos State Government charged Sousa with theft. The state alleged that Sousa committed the offence between May and December 2011 at the Dominos Stores, Alagomeji, Lagos. The offence, the state added, contravened the provisions of Section 390(9) of the Criminal Code Laws Cap C17, Vol. 2 of Lagos State 2003. The lead state prosecutor, Mrs Rotimi Odutola alleged that the N50.2Million which belonged to the supermarket and cinema was given to her by Mr Michael Murray-Bruce. The allegedly stolen funds was for the renewal of the lease of a property situated at No. 1 Habour Road, Apapa, Lagos which belonged to NFS Food and Cold Storage Ltd. During the course of trial, three witnesses testified on behalf of the prosecution and three witnesses including the defendant also testified for the defence. https://xpresstvnaija.com/metro/lawyer-acquitted-of-stealing-n50-2m-from-domino-stores/ |

A MUM has been arrested for killing her own five-year-old daughter by gouging out her eyes and then cutting out and eating her tongue. Josimare Gomes da Silva, 30, was arrested after police were called to her home in Alagoas, Brazil on January 24 following the horrific ordeal. The victim's grandfather reportedly saw blood running from the outside drain - and then broke into the bathroom where Josimare and her daughter, Brenda Carollyne Pereira da Silva were. He found his granddaughter's lifeless body beside her mother - who was praying in a daze - and called the police. The five-year-old's eyes were gouged out and her tongue had been cut off in the horrific ordeal. Investigators believe that these injuries, inflicted with a pair of scissors while she was still alive, caused her death. It has also been reported that Josimare, who was sedated and then taken to the police station in Delmiro Gouveia, Alagoas, had chewed on her daughter's amputated tongue. The mum allegedly gave a statement to the police the following morning in a number of languages, including Spanish. During the incoherent statement, she is said to have denied gouging out her daughter's eyes and putting her daughter's amputated tongue in her own mouth.
