The heat is on,as political egg heads battle it out for the top political positions come 2019.. Party primaries are just around the corner with loads of electionering activities going on. The opposition party in the country has top top politicians in their books all struggling for the presidential ticket. The ruling party already have their man as we hope smaller political parties will complete the political tournament. Let's just hope no one cries of sexism..lolz
Any ways,here is the deal. I want us to conduct our own polls right here,right now. Sure 2019 will come,but let's have fun that may lead us to a consensus,that would lead to a direction of intent,that may unify us towards a goal.. No rigging here, no snatching of ballot boxes,or appointment of a puppetic electoral chairman and tugs...our focus is on THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS. Votes starts now.Good luck

Medicine is no longer the it course. below is my ranking of future it courses

1. Computer, Programming or software Engineering
2. Medicine
3. Pharmacy and Nursing others Med lab, rehab etc
4. Law ( has strong potential but has not reached that level yet, back up is to apply to NGOs or politics)
5. Engineering and Mathematics ( Very diverse opportunities, strong salary , good job prospect)
6. Banking and finance, Business Administration
7. Entrepreneurship
8. Art and Sports
9. others.

Medicine is not as rosy as it seems, ask a doctor and they will tell you especially in Nigeria. 70% of doctors are trying to write Medicine qualifying exams in other countries everyday.
housemanship is becoming hard, too much politics in medicine.

60% of doctors say they would choose another career path if given a second chance, according to Medscape.com.
its no surprise Harvard has introduced a medicine/ MBA course to open up the rising number of doctors leaving medicine to Business or IT start ups.

I would advice you of all things to instill in your Kids One is God and 2. Mathematics.
mathematics makes a good background in science and business.

Am sure you all are having a great time today? I,d always wanted my kids to gradually grow into the medical profession. I guess it does no harm to dream..lolz. Every parent always strive for a particular direction for their kids, some turn out what their parents dream and work for,others follow a different path...

In this discuss, I solicite contributions, info, suggestions, advice and professional view points on the subject matter.

( in summary, i want my kids to be doctors, from their early educational stage, how do i begin to groom them towards this direction) Note: i will in no way stop them towards their dreams if it's in the right path. Am just thinking aloud and trying to look ahead.

The guy means no harm bro, what he meant was that you shouldn't even think of over-staying with a visit visa as that would automatically make you an illegal in the U.S. Though you would need more than 300k but your best bet is either the Canadian or Australian express entry/skilled workers program or better still, try the schooling route to a country that enables you to stay back after studies. Agreed, this is a faceless open forum and infact the largest in Nigeria and almost Africa. Why will you all post somethings like this here especially where the embassy frequents often to see what you people are writing and shut their doors against genuine visitors or travelers.
