HeliosHay: Non-fiction is the best for beginners in my opinion. Fiction is more scalable than non-fiction but it requires a LOT OF MONEY to play big in that market. I publish exclusively in non-fiction and it has been very profitable so I see no need to venture into fiction. You can do well in non-fiction if you apply yourself and never give up.
If you're looking for what's possible, in June I made over $11,700 and so far this year I've brought in over $74,000.
June Income breakdown
KDP (ebook + KENP) = $1447.62 KDP Paperback Sales = $4026.74 Audiobook Sales = $6256.50
Total Earnings = $11,730.86 (N4.22 million)
Stick to non-fiction like seriously! Thumbs up.. |

mk82: Pen names have nothing to do with the name in your account (your real names). Pens names are strickly for your books. A pen name is just a way to give buyers of the book the kind of author name they expect for the type of book you have created. It's also a sensible approach when you have books on different unrelated topics.
Amazon and other publishing platforms deal with your real person when it comes to account issues, payments etc. But they know you are the one behind those pen names. Gracias bro, well explained. Jah bless..got loads of questions coming. |

mk82: dat is d shortcut to account banning. Kindle is highly allergic to PLR,MRR and the likes.strictly original work dat cannot be found online easily. seriously, how do we go around an issue such as this. In the process of developing your content, via research of google for instance, you may unconciously lift materials or contents from other people's work. How then can one write unique contents. Am curious |

mk82: Correction: its not a false author name.its called a pen name. It is completely legal. hello bro, i will need clarification on this. Wouldnt a pen name affect your main registration on kdp as well as transactions? Cos,i guess we are advised to use our real name so it will match with our bank acct details for easy transaction. I would prefare a pen name than using my real name. Please someone should speak extensively on this. Thanks |

Jobs/Vacancies › Where To Report None Payment Of Salaries... by jefy(op): 6:21am On Jul 05, 2019 |
It's such a pity and an act of wickedness to owe your staff over 1month salary and pretend that all is well... Some of these employees are frustrated and ignorant of where and how to seek redress. Are there any agencies or bodies that could look into such issues? The private educational sector is worse hit as school owners capitalize on the unemployment situation in the country and they often get protesting staff fired for saying the truth as well as fighting for their rights.. We need suggestions on how to fight this issue and bring it to a stand still. I believe if we have rugulatory agencies where complains can be made ,followed up after due investigation and heavy sanctions metted out to deafulters, employees will be protected on the long run.. How can someone work months unending without pay? How will the person plan his/her tomorrow? How can the fellow live above poverty line, where will the motivation to work come from? This post boils out from personal experience from years of working in the private educational sector before i embraced self employment,as well as experiences of friends, family members, online forums etc. Say No to none payment of salaries both in the public and private sector. (especially the private sector. PRIVATE SCHOOLS AS CASE STUDY) Please mods take this to front page as this topic needs desired exposure. |

ollybode: Sometimes, one needs to follow his/her gut in this game, when I saw the domain it looks appealing, I checked the trademarkia for trademark check I noticed the word blackswan was once trademark but it no longer active. I primarily picked it with the intention that the owner of .net might be interested, and if not their might be likely sale for it cos Swan is a common name. There are some names that I have bypass and I see guys picking it up and report their sales here on this thread. So You can't deny probability game in this biz. wow, following your gut sure turned green. Congrats again. |

scantee: @op God bless you nice thread. Though i just want to point out few things from ur post so far, many of what you listed (documents) here is not really neccessary for freshiers, especially the Nipex registration, i have pratically worked with at least 5 big oil coy, and still with them now, at same time my company (personal) runs a lot of contract jobs for spdc, nlng, agip, mobil, cheavelon etc without all that documents listed, and i am a bit confussed that some of the prices of some registration you mentioned differs here in Ph. Any way keep the good work coming, i will be contributing bit by bit as we progress, with time i would'nt mind given out a comprehensive contract profile for free here, it contains all the polices, method statements, it contains over 20 polices, hi bro,i really want to tag along with you to learn all it takes to succeed in contract sourcing. Am p.h based and learning alot from op. Will be most humbled if i can learn the ropes practically with you here in p.h |

cccxxiii: 1. Looking inwards for potentials. We are all gifted in one area or the other.
2. Learning a Skill: Formal Education is not for everyone. Vocations such as Tailoring, Carpentry, Bricklaying, Technicians etc can be learnt. This will enable youths setup private business after some years of apprenticeship
3. Availability of Loans for Entrepreneurs : This goes with my first point, Loans availability will encourage entrepreneurs.
4. Introduction of entrepreneurship courses into every departmental curriculum in the university
5. Volunteering: its not all about getting paid. Youths seeking employment should learn to volunteer. Its all part of experience building. my thoughts exactly. Well said.. We have to all look inward, develop our passions link them towards a skill or trade, learn the business aspect of our proposed passion, graduate, start small with hope of expansion, gradually build customer base, save save save, improve on assets... We have to join hands to constantly educate ourselves on the wayforward. 9ja and it's policies towards labour and employment have failed us,especially those who spent time in school. Masters degree holders are now truck, keke ,bike and bus drivers. #endunemploymentinnigeria |

D Pekele007: Mumu, na Libya con dey use underage? but seriously,a big big shame to some Nigerians who constantly say bad things about their own players. Imagine a guy the other day at the soccer pub, 'see how this player fine' referring to a white player. 'see 9ja player as him urgly' Men,i couldnt take it, i just had to remind him that he looks exactly like the so called urgly 9ja player. Honestly,it is high time we stop talking trash about our Nigerian players, especially on age, skin related issues. |
