Non-fiction is the best for beginners in my opinion. Fiction is more scalable than non-fiction but it requires a LOT OF MONEY to play big in that market. I publish exclusively in non-fiction and it has been very profitable so I see no need to venture into fiction. You can do well in non-fiction if you apply yourself and never give up.

Pen names have nothing to do with the name in your account (your real names). Pens names are strickly for your books. A pen name is just a way to give buyers of the book the kind of author name they expect for the type of book you have created. It's also a sensible approach when you have books on different unrelated topics.

Amazon and other publishing platforms deal with your real person when it comes to account issues, payments etc. But they know you are the one behind those pen names.

hello bro, i will need clarification on this. Wouldnt a pen name affect your main registration on kdp as well as transactions? Cos,i guess we are advised to use our real name so it will match with our bank acct details for easy transaction. I would prefare a pen name than using my real name. It's such a pity and an act of wickedness to owe your staff over 1month salary and pretend that all is well... Some of these employees are frustrated and ignorant of where and how to seek redress. Are there any agencies or bodies that could look into such issues? The private educational sector is worse hit as school owners capitalize on the unemployment situation in the country and they often get protesting staff fired for saying the truth as well as fighting for their rights.. We need suggestions on how to fight this issue and bring it to a stand still. I believe if we have rugulatory agencies where complains can be made ,followed up after due investigation and heavy sanctions metted out to deafulters,employees will be protected on the long run..
How can someone work months unending without pay? How will the person plan his/her tomorrow? How can the fellow live above poverty line,where will the motivation to work come from?

Sometimes, one needs to follow his/her gut in this game, when I saw the domain it looks appealing, I checked the trademarkia for trademark check I noticed the word blackswan was once trademark but it no longer active.
I primarily picked it with the intention that the owner of .net might be interested, and if not their might be likely sale for it cos Swan is a common name.
There are some names that I have bypass and I see guys picking it up and report their sales here on this thread.
So You can't deny probability game in this biz.

How do you people get names to sell, 'cos "no domain found" is what I get always on expireddomains after setting my filters.

go back to your filter options and uncheck some of your checked options..if no results yet,continue the process and hopfully you will get a pop up of expired names... Too many ticked/checked options causes this i suppose.. So you can tick a few,then filter. Hope it's helpful?

We have to all look inward,develop our passions link them towards a skill or trade, learn the business aspect of our proposed passion,graduate,start small with hope of expansion,gradually build customer base,save save save,improve on assets... We have to join hands to constantly educate ourselves on the wayforward. 9ja and it's policies towards labour and employment have failed us,especially those who spent time in school. Masters degree holders are now truck,keke ,bike and bus drivers.
