No need to panic, milady. It's obviously an app running in the background all the while. Make sure you always long press the home button and clear out all running apps. If you did this before sleeping yesterday, you battery wouldn't have gone below 12%, I guess.

Downloaded, played games and browsed the internet continuously for 5hrs 37mins (12 noon to 5.37pm) and you spent only 37% of your battery in over 5hrs of your screen on? Who can confirm or debunk this?
