Nigerian madness is it the name u r buying or or the phone itself tecno phones are good and if not for tecno the price of Android won't be as cheap as it is... So there is no big deal about the name as long as the device reaches your need.

And on top of that, infinix hot note, as well as any other phone for that matter, can have the best music output if you have and can perfectly set poweramp to your taste or if you know to make the best use of viper4android app. So I don't understand the noise about j7 being a music phone.

. I'm nt saying tecno phones are not gud. Dey are, infact I cut cap for their UI n ram management. But! D name TECNO makes me sick! As I no get moni to buy gud samsung, I go for occasions wt my husband, wen he remove his BB to snap, I cnt pull out a tecno in d public n be proud abt it! My brother yes o, I need something that will take me two years or more. My brother has been using his Tecno A3 for about three years now, still solid and kicking despite falling off his hand on some occasions. I nor want toys that will pack up in six months time o, na austerity Nigeria dey so. Lol. The L6 seems more solid dan d hot note to me. Though hot note has fantastic specs dan L6, but L6 may be more durable. I m after durability and long lasting battery.

d hot note its strong. Jst buy a pouch. My baby has bin flingin it sins den, no problem, cos of d pouch n glass screen guard

. Just follow ur heart! Dnt go for hot note cos its popular. Go for it because u want to. As for durability, its a great improvement! Its sturdy n strong

as for infinix I have bad experience with it...
d phone always heat .. and it happens on majority of infinixs .. most of those boys claiming u should not buy l6 are techno haters..
or u should check review for d latest techno boom j7. it has some features DAT any techno phones don't have...

I don't know why you guys like porting ugly custom ROMs to ur phones u people should be patient I heard that Tecno will release Lollipop 5.0 update for some of their phones, their engineers are still testing the OS to see if it will compatible with their phones.

Sorry about that. Goto settings > apps, look for Google play store then clear data and cache. Relaunch playstore you'll have to sign in to it again. Then try downloading and app. If that didn't work follow the instructions again but time uninstall playstore update after clearing data and cache.

Am not taking side with tecno but know this 1gb is anything the range of 900-1000mb so point of correction it's 1gb it doesn't have to be 1gb on your setting before u call it 1gb another example your sdcard that's if u use one if it's 16gb u will never see 16gb it's either 15.something so look well before u talk.

. I get wat d guy is saying, its usually 1024mb overall

What's the deal the UI beauty when you can easily change your UI with a nice launcher and gravity box.

My point is UI issue can be easily fixed. But low battery performance issue CANNOT be easily fixed.

So hot note still takes the crown as far as I'm concerned.

you're on point bro. I love phones with beautiful ui but nothing beats a phone with a monster battery. Gravity box can do the work of beautifying. Remember the case of my former m6. Slim gold coloured beautiful phone with wack ba3 and unable to receive custom roms. Baba I agree with all these points about the Boom j7 but a good ba3 does it for me sir. #my 2 cents tho.

ya welcome sir... my phone is back to being a Virgin tho. I over tweaked and it started having issues, so I wiped all my data and everything and I've started again. Not tweaking till I get my lollipop update..

I want to drop a honest review, there ve been an argument lately about the tecno j7 boom and infinix hot note, but finally I handled them both yesterday and i must say the truth. Your compliments and rude remarks're welcomed.
Although they both share the same inbuild capacity, different screen size and battery, but In a cathartic and clear cut term, in terms of UI the tecno J7 beats the hot note hands down, the phone's just so BOOM and does not even need to be tweaked to make it beautiful. Another thing that caught my attention was the ram, the ram management's better than that of the hot note by far. Apart from that the battery and screen makes the hot note stand out. Both devices're great. Thanks alot.
