Sometimes, tolerance does not work. But since she has left things to escalate to this level she has to endure it and move out of the room. And she should set up some boundaries. I always tell my female friends that the best way to stay with another girl in a lodge or hostel is to set up some boundaries. Like, don't use anything that belongs to your room mate, and even if you want make sure u tell her before collecting it so that she will tell you before using yours. And even when she takes it without telling u once you find out address the issue and tell her that you don't like people using your stuffs without telling you, provide yourself with the things you need, cook on your own and don't allow her to go to your pot of food unless you ask her to but it's better you do it yourself, don't go to hers, if you want to eat her food openly tell her if she wants yours give her but never cook with her in the same pot. If you have a room mate mind how you do things and how you relate to her if not one day things will happen and you may not be able to bear it. So it's better you state your boundaries and maintain it and save yourself some headache. Girls our own just too much. |
Destante, I will call on you next time to come and teach my guy. He is always turning things upside down ![]() |

spanzed: Thanks so much I appreciate ur advise...I would love the course like the saying goes a mans achievement is not what he studied but what he can make out of nothing..I won't be ashamed to do it rather it would ginger me up to come out with a good grade...And remember also that what you read in school does not really matters this days, what matter is your certificate and your capability of defending that certificate when the need arises without having any problem or mincing words. I wish you all the very best. |
Parents! They always want their children to read professional courses. I think you should steal the DVC's Phone number from your dad's phone and call him so that he can talk to your dad. Education in Nigeria today is just taking a different dimension. So many students are writing jamb every year and the spaces available in our universities are not enough to accept these thousands of student. That's why some after writing jamb for many years don't mind studying a course they never wanted to do. Not because they like it but because they were left with no other option than to accept the one offered to them by their preferred choice of institution. Thousands of students in Nigerian tertiary institutions are doing a different course from what they wanted to study when they were in secondary school. And you find out that many of them are happy doing that particular course. In essence, if you love the course that they offered you and you will be happy doing it in school and that you will be proud to tell people that this is what am studying in school then go for it. Why I said 'be proud' is because some student are not proud of what they study or is studying in school maybe for their own personal reasons. So if you like it then find your dad's best friend especially one(s) into academics that will relate to him the dangers of you staying at home for another year or even years. Opportunities like this are very hard to come by. Opportunities they say comes but once. You may not be this lucky next time. Remember that, when the desirable is not available, the available becomes desirable. |
So true. WOMEN! The day we change our mindset and perspective to certain things especially in the areas of dating, relationships, courting and finally marriage, then the world will definitely be a better place. |

Ok. Noted. But no 6 didn't not go down well with me. "6). Trust us without pestering around. Don't ask us whom we were with. Don't search our phones to know who we called. Don't make us know that you re suspecting us. If you can love us without playing a CID orFBI in our lives, then you 'll become the woman of our dreams. Lmao" Men also ask their woman where they are, who is with them, what they are doing and so many other stuffs like that. And they also check their girl's phone either for messages in her inbox or for something else. It's something that both sex are into. Though it's not every man or every woman that cares to do what you said in No 6, but believe me so many men and women can't do without checking the phone and the whereabouts of whom ever they are dating. To a very large extent it shows concern to ask your partner where or what he or she is doing as at that moment which is ok but going through your partners phone is a simple way of telling the person that you don't trust him/her. |
Senior sister. She is the one doing all the house chores until she later left for boarding school. That's when It dawned on me that the whole chores is now left for me . |
