femi4: Though you don't need the serial, but if you r interested in knowing your serial no, imei, firmware version etc, just download "huawei modem code writer"
Plug your modem to your PC and run the software, select port and click read, then it ll display your modem info

3RNEST: You don't need serial number to unlock modem, u need the IMEI number, when u download the Huaweu Modem Unlocker software it automatically detect your IMEI number even somebody use easer ease am...so go download it and give it a try....bye bye..
