Overview for the front-end developer.

Powerful Code - Thorough knowledge and experience creating excellent front-end code (HTML5,
CSS3, JavaScript, responsive, mobile, etc.). Be fully conversant on browser compatibility issues
and strategies, and have experience with multiple front-end frameworks.

Design Sense – Possesses demonstrable proficiency with all production aspects of modern Web
design. Ability to create original design (or extrapolate established visual design) for websites,
apps and mobile interfaces.

Software Skills – Front-End software solutions should be augmented by strong
proficiency/expertise in the Adobe suite, Apple productivity suite and Microsoft Office.

Strong affinity for the Internet and the digital lifestyle.

An excellent and creative graphics design skill

Relentless desire to learn, push the envelope and evangelize the latest Web technologies.

Detail-oriented and highly organized.

Creative problem-solving skills, an investigative mentality, and a love of logical thinking.

Commitment to delivering on time and within budget.

Solid client-interaction skills.

Proactive attitude and “can-do” demeanor.

Desired Qualities/Skills

The ideal candidate might also possess the following skills/qualities:

Advanced Scripting – Ability to handle technologies such as AJAX, PHP, ASP.NET.

hello my people, I'm new here and have been reading through this thread and am yet to see anybody applying or applied to study MSc computer security or information technology security. pls help a bro out I googled and the only school I found was Darmstadt university, it was only a part of their site that was available in English so I couldn't investigate further their admission requirements etc. I also checked daad.de and no school was listed as having any course like security

I will want to do courses like B. Sc. in Survey Engineering or Hydrographic Surveying (or any water related courses) or Civil Engineering.

davide470: Though I have very limited experience, I would say this; Multinationals don't normally advertise for surveyors or Geoinformants.. The reason being, Oil servicing firms handling the drilling and formation stage of a field normally send their Geo staffs as secondment to these multinationals.
They only advertise for Reservoir Engineers, and with good years of experience.
So my advice will be, focus on Oil servicing firms dt deals majorly on the Geo* lines (Fugro and co)

xzit: I was just about to ask a similar question. I know these companies have surveyors though not as much as engineers. I have a BSc in Geology and a professional diploma in surveying and geoinformatics. My target job has always been the upstream sector but it seems like who you know is just as important as what you know in these concerns. What I've noticed is that these companies seldom advertize for surveyors and GIS personnel. It would be really swell to put my knowledge in the geosciences to practice in one of these companies. No better motivation to deliver than the tangible financial gain in these companies!
