Phones / How To Solve Authentication Error Wifi Issues by Jeroboy(m): 12:29pm On Jun 12, 2019
Authentication Error Wifi

The WiFi authentication error on Android devices isn’t something that occurs often but when it does, it can be easily fixed. So in this guide, we will be taking a look at the various steps to take in order to fix the authentication WiFi error response you get when trying to connect to a WiFi network. Without further ado, let’s get right down to it.

Authentication Error Wifi Issues – Here Is How To Fix It

Turn On Airplane Mode

Sometimes, your data connection or Bluetooth, if turned on, might be the reason why your WiFi refuses to connect to a WiFi network and pops in the authentication error as it might be interfering with the radio signal being passed across to your device. In order to mitigate that, you should try turning Airplane Mode on which will turn off all radio signals. These radio signals include your single or dual SIM cards (depending on the phone you’re using), Bluetooth and WiFi.

However, you can still go back and turn your WiFi on while the airplane mode is still turned on. Now, when you turn on your WiFi, search for available WiFi networks, provide the correct password to the WiFi network and connect. When it connects successfully, you can then go ahead and turn off airplane mode which will restore all radio signals to your device.

CrossCheck Password

I know you must have heard about this lots of times and have probably tried it a dozen times, but you need to make sure that the password you entered while trying to connect to the WiFi network is absolutely correct. You should also know that WiFi passwords are case sensitive so you check for that also. Put a small Letter alphabet where a big Letter alphabet is supposed to be will cause it not to connect and hence the error. So make sure you input the right password accordingly and correctly.

Reset Wifi Connection

You can also try resetting the WiFi connection and reconnecting for a fresh connection. To do this, you’ll have to access the settings menu on your Android device, Click on WiFi, Click on the WiFi network and Select Forget. This will disconnect you from the WiFi Network. Now, Turn off your WiFi and turn it back on, Let is scan for available WiFi networks and once it shows up, Select the WiFi network, input the correct password and connect.

Reset All Network Settings

If after trying out all the steps above you’re still unable to connect to your WiFi network then the last option is to reset all network settings. You should also note that this will wipe all your Bluetooth, WiFi and mobile data settings but won’t affect your files or apps on your phone. To do this, navigate to your Settings Menu, Click on Backup & Reset and Select Reset Network Settings. Doing this will hopefully fix the issue and allow you to connect to the WiFi network.

Conclusion

The problem might also be from the WiFi network you’re trying to connect to so if all the solutions above don’t work for you, try connecting to a different WiFi network. Phones / 7 Awesome Projects That Allow You To Run Android On PC by Jeroboy(m): 8:53am On Jun 11, 2019
There are many reasons why you might want to run Android on your PC. You could be a mobile developer who is looking to test your apps before making them live, or you may just prefer to play mobile games on a bigger screen. Whatever the reasons, there are tons of ways you can run Android on PC, from using a virtual machine or an emulator to running an Android-based desktop application.

Here are six projects that bring Android to your desktop.

1. MEmu
MEmu is one of the best-functioning and best-adapted apps that lets you run Android on Windows 10. Designed with gaming in mind, MEmu does a great job of integrating PC keyboard-and-mouse controls and gamepads into its build of Android, and response times are equally impressive.

It has a ton of functionality, making it easy to sideload apps and games, and a forced minimum window size ensures that the window never becomes so small as to be unusable. The latest version of MEmu lets you run multiple instances of Android simultaneously, so you can play different games on the same account or instances of the same game through different accounts.

Some people may be put off by the advertising, but it’s a small price to pay for one of the smoothest Android emulators out there.

2. GenyMotion
GenyMotion is an Android Virtual Device that runs on Oracle’s VirtualBox software. If what you want is an adoption of the Android OS in its original form, then this is the solution for you.

The features of GenyMotion remain its best perks. It comes packed with over 3,000 different configurations for Android. Also, if you prefer to switch between different screen sizes and resolutions, then you are in for a treat.

Other mobile features such as Wi-Fi, GPS and multi-touch are fully supported.

GenyMotion supports full Android on PC application testing and development. It’s also optimized for speed.

GenyMotion is free for personal use but comes with a paid plan for commercial use.

3. Android Studio’s Android Emulator
This one from Google is another powerful Android-to-PC solution. Like GenyMotion, the Android Emulator operates on a layer inside your PC. It is the native solution from Google for running Android devices on PC, and it does it pretty well.
