which spot in GRA? I remember another nairalander (allnaijablogger) doing something like what you did sometime back and Nairalanders attended.
Allnaijablogger is my cousin. Nairalanders did not attend the event. Except for one babe

Shoyuken! No matter how I hard i fought, I still managed to get whopped in the first 2 minutes of the combat. cheesy

I lived in this era and still didn't enjoy City Hunter. angry
See this liar. After denigrating gamers, you are here forming nostalgia over street fighter in the 90s.

I dont blame you. I blame the whipped guys that believe your rubbish.

City hunter was a classic.

I don't think so bro. If a place like that is set up people will come, not just young stars but adults too. There are adults out there who lived in the era of arcades who still want to relive it now.

Nigeria have a gaming culture same way Nigeria have an anime culture. People play games just as much as they watch anime bro.

I bet before cinemas came to Nigeria people believed it won't make profit because they can easily watch movies in the confine of their homes.

If such a place could be resident in a place like ICM, people will come, it's as easy as that.

Where was the venue of your Nairaland gaming get together?
Cinemas always had appeal. There were cinemas in the 80s in Nigeria that were booming. I remember my uncles talking about cinema.house back in the day.

Gaming has always been niche. And our culture does not foster gaming. People here look at gamers as irresponsible. Ishilove can verify that for you.

My gaming event was in GRA Ikeja. Funny enough, it was walking distance to one former gaming arcade mentioned here

that used to be my favourite till street fighter ex plus alpha and street fighter ex 2 plus came out. Till this very day, both games are my favourite.

How I wish things could be like the good old days. It'll be nice to have such game houses around today. I'm yet to see a place where they play arcade in Lagos.

Opening such a place will be capital intensive though
You would only attract youngsters. Nigeria doesn't really have a gaming culture.

I and a business associate organised a free gaming event for nairaland. Free drinks, free food.

Can you imagine that not one single gamer from nairaland came. Girls came for the drinks and food. The guys that came were already in my network.

I wanted to set up an arcade but that dream is dead. Na only mouth nairalanders get.

Why did you talk about slaves in the first place, if you're talking about religion? You're unfocused.

Suddenly other religions are not relevant because you wish to attack Christianity. Funny - in the way that does not reflect laughter.

Your brand of atheism reflects your myopia and inability to think beyond your shallow perspective.

You should keep quiet.

Your atheism is simply hatred for Christianity. Nothing more. You're not even an atheist. You're simply anti Christianity.
I see that you just want to argue without sense.

My focus was on Slavery in Nigeria. 2 religions enslaved Nigerians. Christianity and Islam.

If you want to be silly and argue out of point about buddhism, sikhism, Hinduism and Taoism, PLEASE KINDLY ARGUE WITH YOURSELF.

The difference is that christianity enslaves us to a white Jesus and a Jewsh mythology.

English language is a more complex and more international language that benefits us.

What of Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Baha'ism? Traditional religions? Don't those enslave Africans who practice them too? Kabala? Scientology? Free masonry? Zoroastrianism?

Or is your atheism myopic?
Did Hindus, Buddhists and Zoroastrians take slaves from Nigeria?

What nonsense are you saying? Your people were colonised by Christians for 300 years before the first school was built in Nigeria.

Think about that- 300 years.

The Chinese and Japanese that rejected christianity from two British, are they not even more technologically developed

You are a slave. Just look at the picture of Jesus in your church. Is he not depicted as white man? Jesus is not white.

What does Innocent Idibia aka Tubaba meant by "Africa wake up", "Emancipate yourself from mental slavery"? The eternal truth is that there is no greater mental slavery than entrusting yourself to a carved piece of wood that is inhabited by a foul spirit and submitting your life to certain unproven superstitions.

The fact that Tubaba sings well doesn't confer on him any iota of authority to assess Christianity. If he has poor understanding of what the messages of Jesus Christ communicate, he should simply say so. If he is struggling to keep up with the teachings of Jesus Christ, he should say so. If he is confused and scandalized by the human weaknesses of pastors and priests, he should take a look at himself in the mirror, because he should be the last person to judge. However, I doubt if he has trully read and meditated actively on the sriptures. Therefore , he can't give what he doesn't have.

Let's face It. Christianity improved Africa rather than devalue it. From enlightenment of the mind through education offered through schools built free, healthcare through hospital built free, to discouragement of senseless practices such as killing of twins, human sacrifices, burying royalties with human heads and many other things.

Tubaba who chickened out of non-risky street protest should NEVER disrespect the sacred memories of hundreds of missionaries who left the comfort offered by their home countries to come to Africa to preach the gospel. Many were drowned in the sea and many died from malaria caused by mosquito bites. May God bless their souls.

If Tubaba has this day chosen BACCHUS and EROS as his gods and has therefore proudly built shrines under the name of RUMOURS NITE CLUBS to serve them, I wish him good luck.

For me and my household, we will serve the LIVING GOD. I love Jesus and I will serve him all the days of my life. Come and beat me!
Will you keep quiet.

The false prophets
The eating of grass and brainwashing of church members
The raping pastors
The noise pollution
The enslavement to Rome (catholic specific)

Christianity today is a joke.

And for your information, western education came to nigeria300 years after Christian's landed. It was after three hundred years that they decided that black monkeys were allowed to have education.

Your christianity has not solved Nigeria's problems. We are still corrupt and disorganised despite all the worship and praise.

They tax churches in UK and they dont allow pastors go Scott free with private jets....you will be investigated for charity fraud.

The origin of existence and creation?

Lol what a nonsensical question. No one, not even scientists would tell you that they know the origin of the universe.

The best they would tell you is that they can trace the expansion of the universe back to a singularity- the big bang. Beyond that, they do not know.

So, ogbeni, your question is as foolish as you

He that is ready to question God's existence by logic, should be ready to explain "the origin of existence (creation)" with logic.
Hahaha hahaha
That is an example of a non sequitur argument. Your statement does not follow any logic.

Either God exists or he does not. Proving Gods existence has nothing to do with creation or the universe.

God exists separate from the universe. What is your evidence for him?
