mstik: Actually, I think it's hard to find genuine teen love. When I was in secondary school, I used to marvel at the rate which girls used to date boys. The 'relationship' could last for two months before they broke up and moved to a new partner. Sometimes, you could find a particular boy that has dated a group of friends. I guess they just went into the relationships for fun or to be among those that have boyfriends/girlfriends.
My point is, I think dating should be for the mature minded.

IrishKez: I saw a thread yesterday about guys that does not have girl friends. Cos I don't have a boy friend yet, I thought it proper to open a similar thread for us(girls without boy friends)
I want to take it a little farther from the guys own by asking that you state your reason(S) for not having one.
Let me go first:
1)I was brought up in a strong religious circle and as such anything that will pave way for sins are vehemently frowned at in my denomination.

2)Am not ready for marriage yet, cos we're thought and I believe too that one can start such exposures when he/she is ready for marriage

3)I fear that no guy will be willing to be a friend in the right sense of it without crying out "Am Friendzoned!". Am yet to see that guy who will accept platonic friendship.

A little experience.......

During my interview at Kaduna for the NDA 65th regular course or thereabouts, I took time to study how our girls behave. Not only do they eat more than we guys there, they are also greedy and selfish. Anytime it was break time, they'll be the first to arrive at ''MESS''(where we eat). They eat greedily and very fast. One time like that, I was eating bread and Tea and couldn't finish the bread, She, at first, was encouraging me to eat but when she saw that I was about throwing it away, she said ''I don't mind ooo'' jokingly. I gave her the bread and she ate it. Most of the boys there never finished their bread but honestly, if girls that left their bread unfinished are to be counted; they can't be more than 13 out of hundreds of them.
