What is the average cost of shipment from UK to Nigeria and how long does it take to get to lagos.

For example, How much will it cost to ship a 2003 Passat from UK to Lagos? Any reliable Agent?

Emperoh, Thank you. My Car came out yesterday after much 'hold-ups' at Five star terminal. On the Telex release, you will have to get one from Hoegh its self. Contact your shipper. I got my easily and that was what I used. Am not sure the cost will be aboe $60 ( this is subject to confirmation).

i suffered the same faith last month my car stayed over 40 days at 5 star terminal due to Alraine telex issues.It cost me 125,000 extra charges at the end of the day i had to get a copy of the telex myself from hoegh and i can see so many nigerian names have been copied the email that is the people at Alraine.Your telex is with them but there is nothing you can do this Alraine people.

It better to get the telex release from Hoegh, am sure that solved the problem. This is exactly what I did.

My holiday has been great, Am praying you get your telex release on monday.

I had my fears for V6 engines too, but no more. The I4's are relatively economical in gas, but the drive of a V6 is no where that of the I4 engines.
Most mechanics dont want to have the patience to study and know the welwithal of the V6 engines and hence the myrth. Epecially on highways the V6 really brings out the driving exp.

You just need to have a good maintenance culture for your Car, read more, study your car, know what your mechanic does, And you are good to go,

I prefare the camry though!

OMG, I have read most of the post here, and to summarize the current action by shell, i would say that,
This is supposed to be a good thing for the Nigerian oil industry and the nations economy in the long run, But would it?

Shell certainly pushed their assets to far with the $5B valuation.
Nigeria has so many potentials, so so so many, in reserves, man power, policies, you name it, the final question is,

When do we start making use of all these potentials for the benefit of the country, its people and the up coming generation!

God Help Nigeria!
