Music/Radio › Re: Is Ruggedman A Lyricist: What Is Lyricism by jerrymania(m): 10:20pm On Jan 20, 2008 |
i want y'all guys to know this. we borrowed this rap thing and its cultures. even off rap music, its elements are visible in our lives. So now if you want to be a standard rapper you should know whats punchlines, metaphor, wordplay, similes and other figurative language stuff. Thats the rap culture in america which we borrowed. No matter how u wan twist rap to become pidgin or yankee, if u dont use those weapons u are not good. And Mode 9 just taught Rugged that even if na past glory.can u compare Malcom IX to Thy Album Come? No, Mode 9 definitely has the education more than Rugged. Its clear. Also Mode's flair in delivery and patterning of his lyrics gave him an edge over Rugged. He can also rap in pidgin too, check out the rapman begins.
No hating, just my opinion. |

Business › Re: Alert! Firstinland Bank Is A Rip-off! by jerrymania(m): 3:51pm On Jan 20, 2008 |
internetpo: That was actually what a friend of mine; Leo J. told me when I visited him. He sat me down bought I a 50cl bottle of Pepsi and some sweets and “expunged” the details. He even went as far as saying that whenever or wherever I see a Firstinland bank (FIB) Branch I should crossover to the Right if it is on the left or to the left if it is on the right. In essence I should never think of doing business with them.
What surprised me more then was the fact that Leo J. was not a Stockbroker, neither was he a financial expert nor a Customer of the Bank, but a Student and a young businessman who like me always ended up broke and in debt up to the eyeballs half way through every month. And if you think that he is referring to the on going Share offer of the Bank, You are dead wrong. With a 300% share appreciation in just a year, from N3. 00 to a year high of N13.30, a profit after Tax of N2.6 Billion and an Earning/Dividend per share forecast of 185 Kobo and 83Kobo respectively. It’s definitely a good buy. Infact FirstInland bank was voted as one of the Best Stocks of the month in August last year by Stock Watch Magazine. My stockbroker insists I buy.
Leo J. was actually referring to a product of the Bank, one of their e-products called Sapphire Flash Club. Sapphire Flash Club is an e-network of the Bank which allows you to enjoy bonus payments from the Bank by participating in multilevel marketing of its various e-services under the Sapphire Flash Club. You can earn up to N500,000 monthly income, by referring people (downlines) to open a GSM Bank account called FLASHMECASH.
He was actually fuming that the bank wasn’t sincere citing how a friend of his brought in about 60 people into the network and never got a dime (or was it a penny? I never can tell),that it was a slow Slaverish network of some sort and even discouraged me from promoting the Product under my own Network; the GSM Moneymaker Club (GSMMC). But I threw caution to the wind and joined. Armed with my GSM Moneymaker Club Benefits – previledge of having automatic downlines placed under you, making FREE GSM calls during the day, several Cash rewards, moneymaking biz ideas and so much more – I dived into the Blue. And today I am not only enjoying the convenience and ease of banking with my Phone but I am actually making money from it, enough to afford me a Brand new Car in the next 3 months. Or do you still think FIB is a rip-off. Tell me! I want to hear your story, I’m all ears! a very seductive one there.open headed. good one though |

Politics › Re: The Lucky Igbinedion Story by jerrymania(m): 10:38pm On Jan 17, 2008 |
The thing is that Lucky is a thief, yes we all know but he is not intellectual enough. even as sharp as Ibori, he has been axed nonetheless, so Lucky is the next on "deathrow" but sometimes luck shines for him unexpectedly. well the nation should also make a story out of this as they did a particular thread here. |

Music/Radio › Re: Oprah Winfrey Whats The Fuss About Yahoozee ? by jerrymania(m): 10:40pm On Jan 16, 2008 |
Femex: Hi guys. Can someone please explain the whole oprah thing and the yahoozee song. What exactly did she say about the song, where did she hear it and who explained to her what the song was about ? Please some clarity, thanx Hugoboi: If Oprah is going to be making an issue out of the yahooze song, then i earnestly think that will be too hypocritical of her because the American music culture is all predicated on sx,drugs, guns and violence.if she;s going to make a fuss about fraud ,then i think she needs her head examined Stop carrying rumours |

Christianity Etc › Re: Spirit, Soul And Body - What's The Difference? by jerrymania(m): 9:10am On Jan 16, 2008 |
Bobbyaf: @ Jerrymania
As was confirmed by Geneis 2:7
You see, Adam was not a dead soul before recieving the "breath of life". He was simply lifeless, not dead. The transition only took place after God blew the breath of life into his nostrils. Noticed the bible said that man became a living soul, and not that man possessed a soul? To become something and to have something are two different things.
Satan has decieved the masses into thinking that man's soul is eternal, so that when he dies his soul lives on. Because of this man does not see the need to accept God's plan of salvation through Jesus' sacrificial death. Whats the point he asks, when my soul can't die? My soul will take another form somehow and continue living.
See where I am going with this? So in essence the word soul means life, being, person, creature, etc. The prophet says "the soul that sins shall die", and the death of which he speaks is both the natural death, as well as the eternal death. Exactly what i believe. |
