HonNL:That's why I like the whites. U can't get them twice. Let him come back na, if he get mind |
Boo3nity:Just as they forced huncle on us knowing there were other better candidates and now they want to rewrite the Constitution just to keep him there.. |
And some how, the Supreme Court will declare him the winner. Still in doubt? Ask Lawan Ask Hopeless Uzodinma Ask Ebola aka the forger ![]() |
Cruise777:You are the foooool. Portable is a musician. An entertainer. So it's normal for them to get such from fans. Which Nigerian politician do u think will get such love and attention. It's one thing to take out your phone and make a video. It's another thing to rush out in a bid to shake hands or take a photo with a politician. It's pure love oga, and u are too blinded by hate to see it. |
Urexcellency:They will soon come and debunk it oo.. APC and lies |
This is shocking.. Where are all the investments Tinubu has been attracting? |
Foreign investment inflow drops by $18.6bn Foreign investment inflow into Africa’s largest economy declined by $18.6bn in four years (2019-2022), The PUNCH has learnt. Also in the review period, eight states in the federation failed to attract any form of foreign investment The affected states are Taraba, Yobe, Zamfara, Bayelsa, Ebonyi, Gombe, Jigawa and Kebbi. Foreign investments refer to revenue inflow from external sources into an economy either as direct capital investments, equity, cash or goods. According to data published by the National Bureau of Statistics, Nigeria attracted $23.9bn as foreign investments in 2019. By 2020, the figure declined to $9.6bn. It declined again in 2021 to $6.7bn and once more to $5.3bn in 2022. This implies a decline of $18.6bn during the four-year period. However, the most populous black nation in Africa raked in about $46bn in the four years period. Lagos State led with the highest foreign investments ($35.4bn), while Federal Capital Territory followed with foreign inflow of $10bn. Further analysis of the data showed that the vast majority of the states that underperformed with regard to attracting foreign investments were states in the Northeast political zone. In the North-East, the decade-long fundamentalist insurgency led by Boko Haram and its spawns have caused around 350,000 deaths, displaced over three million residents and destroyed public infrastructure in a region already blighted by poverty and poor socio-economic outcomes. Experts have cited the protracted conflicts in the region as a putative reason why investors have often shied away from Northeastern Nigeria. The conflicts have ultimately left a devastating mark on the informal sector of the region’s economy. Experts have cited the protracted conflicts in the region as a putative reason why investors have often shied away from Northeastern Nigeria. The conflicts have ultimately left a devastating mark on the informal sector of the region’s economy. On his part, the Deputy-President of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce, Gabriel Idahosa, blamed Nigeria’s post-military constitution that took away the regions’ power to self-determine their economic fate. Idahosa’s argument was hinged on the fact that prior to the 1966 coup, which produced the military government of the late Aguiyi Ironsi, the regions had political and economic autonomy, as opposed to the strict federal structure of governance that we have today which ensures monthly federal allocations to states. According to a United Nations report, Nigeria ranks as the African country to have suffered the most economic losses, including investments, to acts of terrorism. According to the report, Nigeria, Mali, Somalia and Libya, have accounted for 94 per cent, or US$103bn lost to terrorism in Africa since 2007. Of the 18 focus countries, Nigeria suffered by far the highest economic impacts of terrorism, accounting for 89 per cent of the total US$109bn bn cost over the ten-year period, the report noted. The economic impact of terrorism for Nigeria, at US$97bn, was over 22,000 times greater than that for Burkina Faso, which has suffered the lowest total absolute economic impact of the eighteen focus countries. Nigeria’s impact is also almost 19 times greater than that of Libya, which has had the second-highest cost of terrorism over the ten-year period. Oya unleash ur propaganda machineries to come and debunk this one.. |
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 |
tungamaje:I'm sure if he could turn back the hands of time, he wouldn't dare contest. People's ambition sometimes makes them abandon reasoning. Tinubu is hiding something in those files and if they are released would most definitely ruin him. We are all Nigerians and in one way or the other, most of us have had to cheat or do something that could tarnish our image if it comes out. There are no saints in this country. We all have something to hide. The politicians are even worse. My anger for the man is that he forced himself on Nigerians. They compromised that election for him. He didn't win it. That's just my anger. So however they want to remove him from there, let them go ahead. He needs to go. |
Tinubuagbado:My brother, Obi's problem wasn't lack of votes. He was clearly robbed by both APC and PDP. I live in Benin. Do u know how far PDP went to be able to get the few voted they got? Look at Lagos, Rivers, Benue, Delta, Joe, just to mention a few. If the election was free and fair, APC and PDP would have been humiliated. APC's humiliation would have been worse. Obi was robbed my brother. Nigerians trully came out and voted for him. Don't forget that almost half the people that came out to vote couldn't vote at the end of the day due to the delay of materials getting to polling units, violence and voters oppression and other factors. I came out to vote that day. I got to d polling unit I've been voting for more than ten years, only to find out my polling unit has been moved more than 3 km away. I had a flat tire, so I couldn't drive. I had to go back home. It happened to many persons like that. |
Truth is, they started this ugly tend. It was their failures that birthed APC. To me, they are one and the same. But if we have to compare them, PDP's rule was far better |
I don't think this is an accident.. Hmmmm ![]() |
MTNnews:U will still argue my tribe with me? 😂😂😂 Well believe what u will. I don't even want to reply anyone anymore. I don't hate any tribe. I love Yoruba. I wish I could understand the language so I can better understand great singers like Adekunle gold, olamide, asake, when they sing in Yoruba. Olufunmi is one of my all time best songs I love the igbos. One of my closest friend is Igbo. He's a decent guy with a hunger for hustle. We hang out every now and then listening to Phyno fineooo. I reside in Benin and I speak the bini language a little. I'm Isoko and I love my tribe too. Nothing I've said has anything to do with tribe. You just don't want to get out of ur way and see reason. Anyways, I'm done with this. Believe what u will. |
I won't be flogging this issue anymore. You can't reason with this people. Someone said Obi was impatient that's why he lost. Obi lost because INEC wasnt impartial. They would have been able to conduct a fairly free and fair election but chose to compromise the process for one man. Politicians have been rigging elections long b4 now. Tinubu wasn't the first. My anger is how an entire country can keep mute and allow a criminal occupy the highest office. We have had to alter the country's Constitution so Tinubu can have his way. I wonder how u all will still defend him when his true identity and indisputable evidence of fraud is brought to light. We have set a dangerous precedent. I hope his supporters will enjoy the repercussions when they unfold. |
Babalegba:I'm not Ibo. And if u truly read all I wrote and still call it nonsense, then u are supporting evil. U know what's wrong but u still go ahead to support it. What does that tell u about ur person? |
Raskimonojendor:Well, I believe the election wasn't free and fair. It was compromised. I also believe Tinubu has something damning to hide that's why he's fighting so hard for his documents not to be released. I came to this conclusion based on all I've seen and read. But then, it's my opinion. It doesn't have to be true. |
seunmsg:My query is " Have we completely abandoned all our sense of morality and see what is bad and call it good? " |
psychalade:Everyone knows the truth about the election. So I won't banter words with u. I just pray someone truly robs u of something u really worked hard for. Then you'd know how it feels. The truth about ur druggie will be out pretty soon. And I just learnt something today. There's no reasoning with u lot. U are all a bunch of tribalistic or paid supporters or both. What else would make a sane person blindly defend this forgger who forced himself on Nigerians |
jahsharon:Really? So guys are this unreasonable? I'm just short for words |
Eniitankorede:I won't take ur insult personal cos u don't believe a thing u just typed. But if u really do, then the best way to describe u is a goat. A complete dumb goat. The truth about who Tinubu truly is will come out soon enough. I can't wait for what ur defense will be then. Zombie |
ayokellany:How can u call something nonsense even before reading it? Why will u be defending someone up to the point of throwing every sense of caution to the wind. Haba... I'm not Igbo. I'm isoko by tribe. But will u truly ignore all I've said and just conclude that my opinion is because of tribe? What would u say about the yorubas who are not in support of this govt? |
DrGoodman:why not actually read it |
The seed you sow today will eventually grow up to become a tree tomorrow. I'm a young Nigerian in my mid 30's, just about 2 years in marriage. I'm a secondary school teacher and I reside in Benin city. I had to talk a little about my self so u can understand from which perspective I'm viewing this? What has happened to our sense of reasoning in this country? 1. We celebrate success even when we know it's from a questionable source. 2. We normalize fraud and try to defend it by saying "oyibo stole our resources in the past, so it's our turn to take their own" Or " Mugu fall, guy man chop" Or " Na their greed make them fall mugu" Probably because we don't see our victims or even know some of them go on to becoming depressed and sometimes commit suicide or die from depression. 3. We even defraud market women, young people, the uninformed that are going through the same hardship your government has subjected us to. There was a case in Benin some years back about a girl who had just gained admission into Uiben and her single mother opened a bank acctount for her and started saving her acceptance fee and hostel accommodation fee bit by bit before she will be needing it. She then got a message from her friend on Facebook not knowing her friends account had been hacked. She lost the money to a Ponzi scheme and out of fear, couldn't tell her mother about it. She went ahead to drink sniper and died. The boy who defrauded her may have just been a kid himself. He would probably go on to spend the money on clubs and hotels. I heard the news from 'man around town crew' on ITV radio. Sad right? I had to write all of the above for context. If you followed the just concluded election, u will know Tinubu wasn't really people's favorite. It was obvious because the man had too much baggage and most Nigerians did not enjoy APC's last 8 years. He had a questionable past because he would not reveal informations like where he grew up, the primary and secondary schools he attended. People weren't sure of his age and health status. He had dealings with drug traffickers that even lead him to forfeiting a very large sum of money. He dodged interviews and debates because he knows this questions will come up. There were a lot of discrepancies in his CSU certificate which u are aware of. Maybe some of these were propaganda and you saw through it and still went ahead to support him Now that he's fighting so hard for his details not be released. Shouldn't that tell you this man truly has something to hide? Shouldn't that tell you this man is actually shady? How can you in good conscience still defend him? Is it that we have lost all our sense of morals? Or don't u know that if America truly has a secret damning file on the president of Nigeria, they could use it to blackmail him and use him to do their biddings even when it's clearly not for the benefit of Nigerians. Let's stop being political and try being rational with this because if we allow this to stand and act like there's nothing wrong with it, then we are planting a very dangerous seed who's fruit we won't like in time to come. Instead of throwing jabs, talk about the issues Do u really think there's no cause for alarm? |
LegendHero:Atiku is giving u all upper cut, but Obi is your problem. Na wah ooo. Someone is saying the release of his documents will cause an irrevocable damage to him and u are here defending him that he has nothing to hide. I SMH. I can't even imagine how senseless u are. U truly need help |
I taught they didn't have the jurisdiction to determine this and that it was a pre election matter. So they could rule on this but in the case of shetima, they couldn't? Every sense of hope I had left in this country after that Feb 2023 election died today |
Kusu12:Considering how bitter u sound, even in the abundance of evidence that election wasn't credible and with the poor handling of the economy by Tinubu, it shows u are truly the brainwashed person here who has made a conscious decision not to see reason even when they are all around u. If u can't be constructive with your comments, plz don't mention me anymore. I'm not part of your youruba vs Igbo war on NL |
The only reason they want to broadcast it live now is because they have prepared a solid reason why the petitioners prayers will not be granted. And they want to tell the world so that they won't be accused of corruption. It took them over a month to cook this story. I've since given up hope. Justice will not be done tomorrow |
I don't think his performance is tied or related to the party he belongs. People did not vote for Obi because of LP. There are LP senators and HOR members who's constituents have not yet felt their impact as advertised. If he's delivering for his constituents as he promised, it's a testament to his character and personality not his party. |
You are 24. You're young. Japka is not always the answer because u are not even sure of what awaits you there. Invest your money on real estate. Buy lands from real estate companies that u are sure the community will not drag with u later on. These lands tend to appreciate really quickly. U made first class. It means u are smart. Get a fair enough decent job that gives u flexible time. Could be teaching. Get your masters degree while doing that. Then proceed to pursuing ur PhD while u are looking for jobs within a federal University. U can use some money to secure a good job in a federal University. And keep pushing and investing. The sky is the limit. |
Not true. This happened in Benin. It was a very bloody fight between them. The girl also stabbed the boy. He later died in the hospital. Stop peddling fake news |
