I don't know where those accusing the church of killing people got their fact from. Christian did not kill anybody, it is those unbeliever who crept into the church to seek revenge for what happen in the past when million of people were killed in the quest of wiping christian from the face of the earth. Christ preach peace, his follower are bound to preach peace. At least Omokri and Freeze are not christian they can talk anything for talking sake.

Jesus said any assistance given to the needy is given to him not tithe. In this dispensation tithe is a form of thanks offering giving out of willingness for God's mercy and goodness. In Numbers 18.20-21 only the Levites are qualify to collect tithe hence in 2nd Cor.9.6-14.{...every man according as he purposeth in his heart,so let him give,not grudgingly,or of necessity,for God loveth a cheerful giver...}.
