I can state with some degree of certainty that the requirement to have a guarantor worth 5m is not true. I would suggest you visit any of their office closest to you to find out the status of your application. Forget what was said during the training program first and let them tell you in person.
I've been in and out of their Abeokuta office and my own experience isnt what the op raised, met a guy there who was very helpful. No harm in trying.

The protest has been suspended for now. I had a meeting with the PA to the SA of he President on youths and student affairs and he was very helpful and gave me a template to share with the group on how to go about creating a proper petition that he can show his boss who can in turn show the president. It is not an easy task as at least 40% of us needs to sign the petition. We are currently drafting the petition then we will proceed to gathering signatures. Please spread the word especially to other participants on the signture gathering.

At the moment I have nothing to say because I really have not heard any of these conditions(Payment on submission, Minimum net worth,
Landed Property collateral, etc) from any BoI staff, just on this thread.

The only conditions I have heard of are:
1. Specific grade and profession of our guarantors
2. Their salaries must be enough to pay our monthly principal + interest repayments in case of default
3. They must still be in paid employment for the duration of our loan

But as some people have pointed out, maybe I'm not at that stage yet. Let us keep working towards the path that will lead to success whether it's finding out more information or protesting or both. Still, let's not be discouraged.

You are already at the stage but you do not know it yet because you're not asking the right questions. After getting people that are qualified and willing to be guarantors, start the process of acquiring their statement of notarized net worth. That aside go to Boi website and login with the details they sent you. Everything we are talking about here is in that form. The earlier we start the process the better.
