Car Talk › Re: I Want To Change My 2003 Toyota Highlander Engine by Jethrolite(op): 9:25pm On Aug 27, 2017 |
angels09: Prepare 130k find Gazzuzz go for a tune up. But if na conversion he won't do it. Find mazdaenginepart I want to sell as is, I don't want to worsen the situation of the car then sell if it doesn't work. I actually drive around alot and in the end I don't think the engine really consumes fuel, the next time I fill the tank I'll calculate the distance it carried me and compare to manufacturer's suggestion. Thanks for the suggestion though. Gazzuz is also in Lagos, I actually know that college road but I'm currently in Delta state, Lagos is too tedious. |

I hope you will derive pleasure driving the 1.8 litre engine powered car. Lol, there won't be any pleasure, just getting from point A to B. When I'm on the highway with this car only V8 cars can show off. |

Chill dude. With all the mentioned added equipment, he sure have a bargaining chip.
But op.. . Put 2.2 as asking I bought the car at the height of import embargo on cars, no car dealer was importing and what was left was sold high, I put a price and it's asking. Whoever is serious will call me to negotiate or tell me their offer here. |

I only use Mobil 5w 30 oil, the engine runs like new. I want a 2003 corolla, so if you have the car, I'm willing to take it with the extra paid in cash. |

The car is what I presently use and is virtually as good as a Tokunbo car, I bought it in January and need to get a smaller car. All tyres are new, only the spare I took from the original 4 that came with the car.
It features: *Large tyres and aluminium wheels *Reverse camera *Bluetooth DVD system with subwoofer *Xenon headlamps and fog lamps *Leather interior *Chilling AC *Factory central lock with remote
Believe me when I say this car is as good as Tokunbo, a smart car dealer will get this car, flash the body and sell it as Tokunbo.

uboma: my point is,
sell your Highlander as it is and get a smaller car of your choice.
you will spend a lot converting this car to a V4 and worse still, it may still not perform optimally....
Your choice remains exclusively yours to make though You're right, seeing the list up there I think I'll just sell and get a corolla. My dealer asked me to bring the car in tomorrow for inspection and appraisal. Let me just sell and get a 1.8 litre car. |

GAZZUZZ: your engine is most likely not running optimal. the difference between both engines is so small, but if the small engine is also not running optimal it will consume more fuel trying to overcome wind resistance and the weight of the car Please is there a way to make it optimal? |

uboma: Wrong move.
Better sell your highlander and look for a smaller car to buy. I actually spent alot upgrading the car, I feel I will be short changed selling it. Business is no longer like before, things have slowed down and I feel like I'm just wasting money. You can see the upgrades I did to the tyres and wheels, also installed reverse camera, zenon headlights and audio woofer. |

GAZZUZZ: 2az engine and transmission (10pin) 320k wire harnes 10k
engine ecu 40k
engine subframe and mounts 80k
C/V joints 25k
exhaust and catalytic converter 85k
radiator and cooling fans 42k
e remain but just manage this preliminary off the top of my head.
the only danger I see is to your pocket Wow, I was planning on swapping my current engine and adding a little change. This quotation is not friendly at all. |
Car Talk › Re: I Want To Change My 2003 Toyota Highlander Engine by Jethrolite(op): 12:28pm On Aug 27, 2017 |
angels09: Just sell the car and get a corolla. If you are sure that car is functioning well.
BTW what is your monthly cruise like to warrant 40k fuel I bought the car in January, a very good buy, no problem at all to date. I don't really measure but I get 10k fuel weekly. There are barely no roads in my town, driving a low car is just trouble. |

Business › Re: Would You Build A House With 40m Or Invest It In Bonds? by Jethrolite(m): 6:26pm On Aug 26, 2017 |
Partnerbiz3: I have been thinking about this. Assuming you build a house worth 40m to generate 4 m per annum. Is it not better to invest it in bonds at 13% and above? Note that 4m per annum is equivalent to 10% of 40m.
Again, why do people invest in bonds with lesser percentage instead of in Tbills with higher percentage? N40m house will never pay you 10% annually, no property will even pay you that. Go and put your money in FG instrument that pays 18% annually. Google CBN OMO. |

I barely see the difference between my s7 edge and this phone besides I see the design like a low quality phone with the finger print scanner at the back. When they put the scanner under the screen, then I'll start considering selling my phone to upgrade but then who will buy this phone that I paid N412k for? |

Politics › Re: UK: Instead Of Arresting Kanu, Defeat Him Through A Referendum. by Jethrolite(m): 9:42am On Aug 18, 2017 |
IgboSubmarine: Nigeria is a country filled with educated illiterates.
A nation where people refuse to learn good things from other nations.
Imagine the useless Federal Government led by the Arewa people asking the court to cancel Kanu's bail when those who gave the genocidal October 1st declaration haven't been arrested since June.
HOW TO STOP NNAMDI KANU
1) Convince the Igbos to believe in One Nigeria the way United Kingdom convinced the Scots to believe in the Union
2) Ask United Nations to conduct a Referendum to silent Kanu once and for all
3) Once the Igbos vote a yes for Nigeria, declare media blackout against Kanu.
In summary, follow the path of the United Kingdom when the issue of Scottish Independence arose. This is Nigeria not the UK where things are done in a sane manner. The 2 cases are very different. You can not use propaganda to make the igbo man believe in one Nigeria. What Kanu stands for is bigger than him and even the igbos, the problem I have with the whole thing is that while Kanu is essentially a megalomaniac that ought to be ignored, there are other regions that also want to break away from Nigeria but have no one to openly spear head it on the level Kanu does for the igbos. The Nigerian government will not be able to withstand the overwhelming vote for the creation of Biafra should a referendum be conducted. There's also another major problem with Biafra - it is landlocked. Nigeria will totally seal off access to Biafra as is the case of Sudan and South Sudan. Biafra will be dead on arrival should it ever become reality, but then Kanu is smart and is courting the Niger Delta to be part of Biafra for water access but that's not an entirely smart move and he knows it - Niger Deltans will rather have their own country than be part of Biafra. In the least, as Biafra is being created, Niger Delta Republic must also be created for Biafra to exist and excel for the prosperity of all Biafrans. |
