Hi, guys!

So, I have been doing some research on Upwork about lots of things regarding freelancers, and I have come to realize certain things. One of them, which leads to my concern is that, several clients have been pissed finding out that their hired freelancer lied about their name, location, or stuff like that. Some hit up freelancers who claim they are in the UK, but it turns out that they are in India or some other region. Bummer. (Just google it)

I have also tried researching how Nigerian Upwork freelancers are fairing on the platform and the data I received is really conflicting and for the most part, discouraging. I have also come across some community threads with some Nigerians defending the platform as being supportive and fair to Nigerians, yet most of those defenders have not really been active on the platform.

So, I want to hear from you.

How is working on the platform as a Nigerian like for you, as writer, programmer, etc? Mostly writers, since you guys need to compete with those born or in native English-speaking countries?

Are you able to secure gigs like every other day, week, or month?

Can you easily up you raise there like up to 0.05/word or $50/hour and still secure great jobs whenever?

I have seen several accounts who their great days was in 2019 or 2017 and some who have two to three works per year, and some who only have two jobs on their account. I have also seen those who have been on it for years, like way back to 2014? With lots of completed projects, but in the recent years, lesser works too with some having bad pays, for those who agree to disclose the sum.

So, please, help me out here. How is it like for you operating your Nigerian Upwork account and is it worth it?

You guys are a bunch of illiterates. No service provider has deployed 5G in Nigeria. What MTN carried out were 5G trials, which took place at some of their service centres. The 5G masts were only situated at those service centres, not beyond.

If you guys know how expensive it is to deploy 5G, then you would that no service provider will be ready for 5G deployment for the next two years.

For God's sake what kind of question and comparism is this, OP still looking for reasons.

Is it brand name or amoled screen compare plastic screen or processor, software optimization, or build quality or what reason do u want somebody else to tell you that is not known by everybody.

I believe you mean Amoled compared to tft LCD display.

Both processor have similar processing capability aside from the material used and the clock speed. Samsung clock 1.8ghz while infinix 2ghz.

I narrowed down my selection to both of them. My last comparison was each phone against Hawaii Y7. Both did awesomely well against the phone. However, no known comparison between both to select the best.

Based on spec. Samsung has the screen to sell against S4. But the infinix has much mp packed in both its rear and front camera. It has lower price. And it has bigger RAM.

I don't like Infinix phones for three reasons: 1). You have to go down to settings to change data Sim. 2). Font features has been removed. 3). No much settings options for camera, even hot-spot.

Don't have any other ugly experience with them. Currently using their hot 6 pro. But I am dị satisfied by the above reason. Plus, the 32gb space isn't much for me and I don't want to purchase SD card after loosing all my files in my last 32gb external.

So, à friend told me to go ask Nairaland. So, here I am. I also saw someone did a similar thing for another phone and got serious replies here. So, I was more hopeful. Now, with the response I am getting, I am glad I did.

Yes, both phones come with that. Samsung comes with better screen, s4 comes with better ram. A30 comes with smaller mp for camera, s4 comes with bigger m-p for camera. Aside that both are almost the same in spec except with different materials.

A30 is a good phone all round. It is very fast, screen is vibrant, cameras take very beautiful pictures.

My girlfriend uses one so I'm talking from the experience of using it.

why Redmi note 7? I am at the point of going for the Samsung. I learned from someone that Chinko phones tend to see their camera deteriorate in performance after six months. True?
