Hello my people. My spouse MBA transcript is taking too much time to be available. We have been waiting for 2months now yet is not ready.
A transcript was issued to her in November 2005. My concern is if Vetassess will accept the transcript considering the date of issue (2005)?
She actually graduated in 2004 from Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma. |

Travel › Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Jetspeed: 4:25pm On Dec 22, 2015 |
johnsontade: Well, i'd say IELTS is more straightforward because your writing and speaking is scored by an Human unlike PTE where everything is score by a computer which means you just have to tell the computer exactly what it wants to hear
The advantage PTE has its that you get your result much quickly and can book your exam anytime as there is always enough dates and available space. I would personally say PTE reading and speaking is tougher than IELTS. Writing is easier in PTE and listening is almost the same but not just fill in the Gap as we have in IELTS. @ Johnsontade, Did you sat for PTE in Lagos. I am considering sitting for PTE early January 2016 |

izykvision0: States have csol and regional list. Check the regional list to see if your nominated occupation is on it. From there you proceed same way as 190, but filling 489 for your assessment and in EOI. You get 10points for 489 and 5 for 190. So you still need to have your occupation on a list: SOL, CSOL, or Regional. My occupation is only listed in 190. Are you implying that I can apply for 489 even if my occupation is not listed in 189? And moreso can ones children go to public school without paying tuition? |
Travel › Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Jetspeed: 7:34pm On Aug 13, 2015 |
mozo: Thank you. I just submitted my application to Vetassess last week. And I will have to wait for my + assessment. My nominated occupation in SA currently reads 'special conditions apply' or in other words it's filled up . which means I'll have to go the 489 route rather than the 190 Guess 489 is available for 189 only. |

pingu2k5: I don get alert, God win. I got my grant for 190 visa yesterday. Thanks to God and good people on this thread. Below are my timeline and other details to serve as guide to others:
7-Feb-2015 Took the IELTS test N35,000 21-Feb-2015 IELTS result out (7, 7.5, 7.5, Applied for transcripts and arranged all docs N20,000 17-Mar-2015 Applied to ICAA for skills and experience assessment A$550 (N93,495.28) (Nominated occupation: Management Accountant) 8-May-2015 Positive assessment result, but about 6 years experience was cut to less than 2 years. 8-May-2015 Was short of 5 points because I couldn't claim points for work experience, therefore opted for 190. ferdimako: Using only HND gives 10 points if judged equivalent to their two-year advanced diploma but when u bring in his MBA, it could be judged as aussies's Masters degree and u get 15 points. But since bachelor or Masters degree equivalency is not needed to nominate that occupation.. no need. If u do bring it in, u lose the 13yrs of relevant work experience migration points before the MBA...but with only HND u get 10points + 15 points from work experience which sum up to 25. It's logical to know that 25>10!
Age gives him 25 points. All he needs now is competent level of an English test (zero points) unless the region wants more than 60 points to nominate. I read somewhere of a state or region that needs 80! Thanks Ferdie, I will communicate to him asap. Hope he can still make use of his MBA in Australia for some other pourposes when he must have migrated even though he will be silence on it for immigration pourposes (Assessment et al) |

NNBB2012: Ok. I thought he was trying to know the points HND qualification will get. The required qualification for Property Manager is Cert III or Cert IV according to Vetasses. . Yes its on assessment level 3. His HND was in the 2000 and he also completed his MBA last year 2014. Pls can he filed in his assessment with the MBA (2014) or he should only file his HND. If he filled in with HND upper credit (Estate Mgt 2000) & MBA (2014) Will Vetassess start counting his work experience (Date deemed skilled ) from 2014 which will give zero score on work experience or only is HND which will give a maximum marks of 15points. His age range is (33–39 years) and already has over 13years experience as a property manager. Pls kindly advice |

ferdiii: Will HND come off as Aussie's bachelors degree equivalent? Or is that equivalence not required for d nominated occupation? He is assessing for Property Manager on Northern Territory Skill occupation list. They require Skill Level 3 - Certificate III or Certificate IV. He is 37years and has been in that role for well over 8years. I hope he is good to go? |
