Prologue
My life stinks! Nay, it is not good looking itself
Yet it gives me an ocean in the eyes
‘Tis a search through past vastly that reveals
Intransigence in mouth breath and sound
Act 1 scene 1
She sat close to the banking rivers
‘Tis true she had been sealed
But that glowing attraction stood in between
* * * * * * * * * * * * *
I lured her into dirty black
By killing her husband
So together we would dwell
Act 1 scene 2
That day involved judges
And men in corporate black
Twenty-five years was my sentence
And on the stand, she received a judge
Nay, it is not true
What did she have to do?
I gave her freedom from her man
Kiss the ground oh my soul;
‘Tis true I done been used

Hi there, whoever said the world could go round without poetry?
tell you what? poetry is the biggest aspect of my life right now. it feels like freedom!!!

DEADLY HOPE

Lying in a self-pooled blood
Yet in the heavy flood
Thunders looking with
Murderous eyes-fire lit
Gasping for breath
Contending with death
Asking for the hands of hope
Yet hope said nope
Having the throat badly strangled
And the body badly handled
Confusion heard the cry
Yet hope was leaving him to die
Hope, he believed wasn’t fair
For pretending not to hear

The face was getting pale
He glanced at hope in pain
Then tried stretching his hands
But hope was leaving the land
It was the turn of death
Who readily pounced on its target
And while his spirit was been taken to Hades
Who had been expecting him for ages,
He whispered hope
Yes was there apart from nope
He wondered what use it was
Being rescued after dead he was

Hope then whispered
Like though it whimpered
I see no reason why
I shouldn’t let you die
Like success after the splat,
Between us there’s a mat
Which is filled with great pains
Agonies and sorrows are what it contains
If only you can endure this,
You would have a love-filled bliss
He grabbed hope’s hand
And shouted as though mad
Like hope predicted,
He wasn’t committed
So, he let go of hope
And took despair in place of hope
It was his calling
It also, was his ending.

BEING A SAVIOUR

This is earth
There is no justice yet.

When I strolled through,
I found peace lacking here too
So I came to help them
Only that was when,
I was hated for being good
They were so rude
Well, I didn’t bother
Since I was smarter

They finally got a way to nail me
Who wants me dead- they said "we"
I was beaten for nothing
Yet people were jeering
I tasted the pains
It flowed into my veins
My head was hot
My eyes, blood-shot
I was flogged next
Thirty-nine times I guess,
I was been humiliated
Like I was a witch’s reincarnated
Will it end I thought
For was I Jesus?

PIRACY

Piracy has gone round
To everywhere things are found
Taking a good look at me
Will say I can’t be two or three
So why is there
A miming me who is rare
And sometimes hard to see
Though, he doesn’t have a complexion as me

He pirates every move I make
So fast even without a break
A dark mischievous creature
That sometimes walks in my favour
He plays dirty tricks on me at night
At a point, I began liking him right
He follows me even to the meadow
So, I named him my shadow.

The failure

Alas! I’ve failed again
Not worthy to grace the rain
In my private life
I’m surrounded by Damocles’ knife
Yeah, I do see bright lights
But then after this tight sight,
It should be time to fall over again
And then say I’ve failed again

Considering all aspects of life
Especially when taking a big dive,
It crumbles to the start then
We say we’ve failed when
Our lives crumbles, our fame fades
And we lose our aces and jades
Hearing that sound of game over down the lane,
We say we’ve failed again

Hi failures and fellas,
I send this to your faxes and tellers
Whenever you climb a ladder and fall,
Carefully lean that ladder on the wall
Find another ladder
And see joy fill your bladder
And now, you’ll say “we haven’t failed have we?”
But know that this was brought from yours faithfully.

Lonely call…

He was twenty-three years of age
Not lucky to be among the computer age
He believed it was time to be a man
His mother said “no” with a strong adage
The father did nothing but warn

In sudden anger he would flare
Soon, his face became so rare
Man and woman couldn’t take it any longer
So they disowned him in tears
Since he said he wasn’t growing any younger

He approached his love Tina
She: dark, hairy, slim or even thinner
They begun spinning the web of love
Stronger it grew and even thicker
Till love got so high above

She had a boy for him
On hearing, his face was full of beams
They went on to have their wedding
On their honeymoon, they sang hymns
Not knowing they were close to tears shedding

He never knew the marriage bids
Misunderstanding germinated like weeds
They took their words with a pinch of salt
He closed down her fees and feeds
Finally, everything came to a halt!

She left after calling him wretched
He roamed the street dejected
He had a child but not a wife
With sorrow he had been injected
He had asked “could this be life?”

Taking to heavy drinking
Not an exception was smoking
He came home in the dead of the night
Never caring about his son’s living
The son now believed life wasn’t right

He lost his job
Behaving worst than a dog
Now he couldn’t go to his family
His grave was been dug
Life had stung him with infirmity

Then with such heavy breath,
He began seeking death
Never seen one so brave
To bring the waters above the neck
Emotion was so watery as he kissed the watery grave
