My dear, listen to your husband. If truly you married the man your desired and loved. You should be able to trust him as he leads and you follow faithfully. That's is if you want to still remains his wife or be the husband and lead the family, let him follow. Who is the head in the family? If i may ask. Maybe, you think are. Respect your husband o. My advice to ladies and he would honour you the wife. |

[quote author=HungerBAD post=34442127]Fake story. Waste of my time reading this crap. Price dropping i.e $1800 for ring CHILDISH. 4 Years in the US and well to do? LOL LOL LOL ,sometimes you people just come here ad write stuff as US is a place Nigerians don't live in or know what is obtainable there.[/ @HungerBAD, i am not trying to impress u or anyone. What's special about living in US or the price for the engagement ring? If i get up to $4500 biweekly. Its a true story and i just change the name and didn't want to mention the hospital my girlfriend works. |
@ papist, I am not just a Sunday Catholic. I believe in the Catholic Church and leaving the church is not an opt I option. |
My story goes this way. My name is Justice, a well to do guy living in Ohio, United State. I moved to US about 4 years ago where i studied and presently work as an Auto mobile technologist. I am in my early thirties and my girlfriend for about 2 years is in her late twenties. I met my girlfriend Joan on December 2013 on one of my yearly trip to Nigeria through a friend. We started dating, even though i live abroad and she lives and works in one of the big hospitals in Victoria Island in Lagos as a Lab Tech, we both where committed and communicated at least 2 hours via phone, not to talk about social network everyday. Initially, when we met my girlfriend expressed some concern of me been a Catholic and she one of this new generation churches (Christ embassy) , but we both thought we could work things out till now when my girlfriend told me that if i want to go on with the relationship i would have to leave the Catholic church and attend her church after our marriage. She said the Catholic church in her opinion is not a church a serious christian should be attending, that their ways of worship is not inspiring. She wants to teach me how to pray, speak the word on everything like pastor Chris. Now, i am seriously thinking about her stand on this issue, because i had already bought an engagement ring worth $1800 unknowingly to her. I want to take our relationship to the next level, but her attitude is driving me nut. Please, i need your advise as this not a fake story. |

Well, i wish the young star all the best. But,i need to point to him that having a reasonable experience in the FM is a different thing, when confronted with the reality of managing a football-club real-time. Managing players, fans expectation, trainings, transfers, the dressing room e.t.c I have been playing FM since 2001,but can't say because i a master in the simulation game, but i can not manage Enyimba football of Aba or a division ten club in England. Its a gamble for me. |

black_beau: Unfortunately, africans don't seem to realize that our temparament and behaviour is different ffom that of the americans. The same thing that would make an american cry would not really faze an african.so,when I see nigerians copy americans unnecessarily, its annoying. Flogging is one of the best ways to correct the nigerian child. For those of you saying communication and interaction works better,I'd like to ask you this question: was there ever a time when you did something wrong as a kid and your parents corrected you with a speech and later, you were faced with the same situation, pls can you tell us your reaction? I'm sure you said to yourself, let me do it afterall, all my parents will do is to talk. Anyway,I was caned as a kid and I'm happy because it has helped shape my life a lot. As for my kids,I will cane them to discipline them but the key is to know when to cane and when to hold back.My sister your are too much for this your comment. We Nigerians should be very careful with the way we copy this oyinbo people oh, flogging kids as a way to correct him/her is part of our culture and many of us would have taken into a life of crime if not for the cane and then the piece advice that followed afterwords. I live abroad now, but i still cane my nephew if he misbehaves because i believed its the way to train-up an African child. |
Pastor Kris Okotie again! |

Police reform is a welcome development, but what about the same proposed reformed few years ago when they went to some churches soliciting for fund to equip the NPF to better serve the populist. My opinion is that NPF should be made to undergo a compulsory psychological courses. Because a great number of them don't know what policing means. |
Arosa: I feel sorry for this small guy farouk, he is been made a scapegoat. nevertheless justice must take it's course. I hope.I agreed in total with u |
Its easy to crucify someone for been corrupt. The truth of the matter is that the Nigerian system encourages corruption;i remembered using another State local govt identification to gain admission into the university and doing the fake age declaration thing cos i got into sch. at the age of 22yrs to study engineering. When u graduate and do the NYSC thing u are closed to 30yrs. Then GTB and their likes will say not more than 25yrs for job. The system made a lot to us corrupt. But Lawan dance ur music alone. |
I believe Fashola's creativity is what this country needs |
