Abe as the most experienced politician in the governorship race with first name recognition around the state would have been a clear front runner if not his foolish mouthing of Tinubu when he kicked off his race. He has since remained silence on Tinubu's case.

Nyerisi is also fighting the political battle of his life to have SIM elected and endorsing Tinubu in this race would completely jeopardise his chances.

Tonye Cole is very popular in Riverine areas and has been very focused to ensure his campaign remains local. SIMS through Wike's support is strong in upland (except Ogoniland) which clearly makes him a frontrunner due to the stae demography.

However, if Nyerisi Wike commits the political suicide of coming out openly at this mid stage of the election to campaign for Tinubu, he would loose Ikwerreland, Etcheland, OBALGA, Bonny and Oyigbo. A major beneficiary would be Tonye Cole and possibly Abe.

No candidate would loose the aforementioned areas and win Rivers State. Never!

I am sure Wike knows this and that is why he has been reluctant to come out and endorse Tinubu as speculated.

Do you think Nyerisi is quietly working for tinubu as speculated? We were having a unit meeting together with some PDP excos in my community and they were telling us about the state of the country and we should vote out the present government. Now ,these guys are strong pdp guys in the state.
