OCKEHINDE: You may believe you are smart enough not to be tricked. However, trick questions can stump anyone. Common sense and experience will not help you answer these tricky questions. Even though some of the answers are logical or rely on common sense, your first thought is quite often incorrect. Some trick questions are funny, some are a play on words, and some involve looking at things differently.
Here are some questions. 1. Question: What is always coming, but never arrives? 2. Question: What can be broken, but is never held? 3. Question: What is it that lives if it is fed, and dies if you give it a drink? 4. Question: What word would you use to describe a man who does not have all his fingers on one hand? 5. Question: What can one catch that is not thrown? 6. Question: What is it that if you have, you want to share me, and if you share, you do not have?
7. Question: If a plane crashes on the border between the Cameron and Nigeria, where do they bury the survivors? 8. Question: If it takes eight men ten hours to build a wall, how long would it take four men? 9. Question: If you have a bowl with six apples and you take away four, how many do you have? 10. Question: If you had only one match and entered a dark room containing an oil lamp, some kindling wood, and a newspaper, which would you light first?
11. Question: If Mr ugo4u’s bungalow is decorated completely in pink, with the walls, carpet, and furniture all shades of pink, what color are the stairs? 12. Question: What breaks and never falls, and what falls and never breaks? 13. Question: Some months have 31 days, others have 30 days, but how many have 28 days? 14. Question: “The attorney is my brother,” testified the accountant. But the attorney testified he did not have a brother. Who is lying? 15. Question: What do you call a woman who knows where her husband is all the time? 16. Question: What goes up and down, but always remains in the same place? 17. Question: What is it that goes up, but never comes down?
18. If you imagine you are in a sinking boat sorrouded by shark, how would you survive?
19. How many sides does a circle have?
Please someone should attempt the questions. I will update the answers shortly. 1. Tomorrow 2. Promise 3. Fire 4. 5. Cold 6. Secret I guess 7. Key word [survivors] you don't bury the people that are alive nah.. 8. 8men x 10 hours/ 4 men = 20 hours 9. 10. The match stick.. that's the first thing 11. 12. Night and day 13. One- February 14. The attorney cos he cannot testify in his own court proceeding (I think) 15. Phone 16. Stairway or staircase 17. Age 18. I will not imagine that at all (imagination kee them) 19. One Corrections would be really appreciated.. we all learn everyday.. |

Lukas47: What I know is that Attestation Letter is for those who don't have a university certificate but do have Statement of Result which is long overdue (you graduated between 2009-2016). Owing to the nature of our public institutions most employers don't expect a recent graduate (2017 - date) to have a university certificate but if your institution has issued yours that's perfect.
Nobody will ask for attestation when a university degree certificate is looking them in the face but if you are going with a statement of result that is more than 2yrs old, I will advice you get an attestation from your institution explaining why you haven't been issued a university degree certificate.
My Thoughts. So.. Are you saying that if I have my certificate, I can proceed without the Attestation letter? Or I can have both? |

KODACK: Sweet heart..... It's stated that it must be from ya higher institution.
Go to your registrar, that's the person who is suppose to issue such to you.....and it's free tho..... But to speed up the process, you can as well buy a bottle of drink to give the person so as to cool temper while helping out.
Kindly convince them......I'm sure they would yeild to your request. Toh.. Na to go beg again be that.. Thanks.. |

Sadeeek: there is no segregation within the armed forces, the earlier u start working as one the better. Both Army, Airforce and Navy must work together. Stop having that mentality now! Each Military Body has its own Thread on Nairaland. If we allow the continuous posting of information from other Military Bodies , When important information is posted pertaining to the Army, It would not be seen because the thread is being covered with posts of other military. Go to Navy and Airforce thread and check if you'd see any Army information? can you go to a science class and be asking a literature question? The answer to this explains all. |

ugo4u: And to those making noise about obsolete weapons is it not some of the so called obsolete "vehicles/equipment" Bokoharam stole from the military during raids/ambushes that they're also using to attack? when cowards find their way into the military even if they're trained and equipped with the most modern weapon like the US Navy SEALs they will always find one reason or the other to runaway from battle. They also upgrade it as well.. |
