i hate guys asking a girl if she is a virgin. That nonsense annoys me.

IMHO there are so many things that contributes to today's failing in r/ships and marriage, and sadly, lack of communication is far from the main culprit.

FIRST AND FOREMOST, the main reason why unions are failing today is because people today are going into r/ship and marriage for the WRONG reasons. family/religious/social/peer pressures have a big part to play in this madness. Nigerian society will be quick to celebrate marriages as the epitome of HAPPINESS, and therefore so many miserable people want to get married at ANY cost (even with the worst partner out there), foolishly believing that it would change their miserable state.

SECOND, in today's age, people live different lives, faster lives with different priorities. we cant compare the old days with today, its a different era. now more women AND men have the right to be themselves, are not afraid to be themselves, and go for what they desire without any care in the world what society believes. some women today are independent/liberated, they have good jobs and can take care of their own selves, unlike before when they had to stick to a man and depend on him for LIFE, or be viewed as "soiled good" (as soon as she was divorced) and rejected by society.

THIRD, i also blame society because men have never been better than these women, but "society" has for a long time accepted that men could fool around and not be judged for it. so it was all ok for these men to have mistresses and fool around (with total disregard for their union), just because their wives/gfs unwillingly accepted it as a way of "mens" life. now this same society has evolved and women today aint afraid to COPY what men have always been doing for all these years, but now it is a big deal, and most men cant take it.
many women of today have role models such as Rihanna, Beyonce, Kim K and Nicki Minaj, so what do you expect? lol

LAST BUT NOT LEAST, we can all see that the FOUNDATIONS used today in order to get into a r/ship or marriage are crooked, and therefore no wonder they dont stand the test of time.
