Tonynwaduche: How long does the interview take...mine is tomorrow at PH As long as they feel like drilling you. They kept me for about 25minutes. E be like the more you're answering, the more they are firing to make sure you fail one... The worst that can happen to you is study a business course. Your body go tell you donmang: From all you've said, seems those that did their interview in Lagos from 20th to 22nd are lucky. Though we faced different panels but it wasn't easy. Believe me, if they had asked us these questions JHU.DIT told us here, many of us would fail. The questions differ from different angles and the way they ask or throw more questions would make u feel like as if you offended them earlier. I've asked before can one question you didn't answer correctly make you fail?? God help us all and for those yet to be invited read vast & stop looking for WhatsApp Groups to join. Sincerely it's not by joining WhatsApp group. They test you on different areas, so failing one question can't make you fail. The score sheet is grouped. You have to hit above a certain score... They were with our test scores too. That paper we solved on. |

iammccoy: This is the CEO wearing a flowery tie. Never heard of it being unprofessional. I'm sure you have more pictures of him. Go to PH center armed with the pictures, no read and learn. Interviewers that are looking for how to shortlist people, you wan make the work easier for them? Nchabuomo: Nice that's quite intensive. Na positive feedback we dey pray for now. @emboldened Loool guess it was those that were walked out, they had to rearrange and enter. Evaluating your experience and comparing it with my panel experience I feel I brought a knife to a gun fight. They had to rearrange and enter, but the wrong impression has already been made. Don't say that, you answered based on what you were asked. I am even scared that the questions I didn't answer well are the compulsory questions... |

Nchabuomo: Sounds like an intensive one. From the analysis above you did very well. Na una do the real panel interview o... One person was putting fire, telling them to intensify the questions. She is nice though...then another woman was asking lots of Fidelity and financial questions. The man was being a man, his questions carry weight. E.g If I am appointed as the finance minister, what would I suggest Buhari does to aid our failing economy? In my mind, I was like...he should resign nah Some people in my centre were borrowing shoe and suit. I just tire for them...they do a 100% assessment of your dressing. If you fail that one, they walk you out immediately. |

Nchabuomo: Nice that's great....Congratulations Thanks...I know I didn't answer one question at all. I didn't answer three satisfactorily. I was asked about 18 questions. They even asked me about 5 mathematics questions. Then they asked few personal questions and we got laughing. |

Nchabuomo: How was the interview? It was awesome, they were very strict on appearance. They asked lots of names relating to financial industry, logical and practical questions on my current job, about Fidelity... tested my ability to calculate cash swiftly, Syrian war. They wanted dates, facts, names... E.g when they asked me about cashless policy. I had to define it, when it started, states it's currently in, its aim, alternative channels I would advise customes to use...I had to chip in their e-services, the amount that attracts cash handling charge, the percentage of charges, the recent development on the policy. Yet they were asking for more...I was like ahnahn...kill me! |

How can a Nigerian graduate come for an interview with suede shoe? No socks? Coloured shirts? Ladies with very flat shoes? Short sleeved shirts? Flowery ties? Multicoloured gowns? Coloured handbags and hairdos?
Please, if you are going for your interview in PH, dress well. Wear a solid colour suit, leather shoes, look very official...lest you'll be walked out by the interviewer. Una matter tire person! |

Nchabuomo: Honestly the anxiety is useless. Especially as we don't have control of the outcome neither does head of HR se f. Maybe if one has direct acess to the MD or DMD. Ehen but as for now nothing is certain. Let's just go with the flow. Que sera sera I know most banks have Training School in Enugu and at least in two other locations within Nigeria. Hence one can't be too sure how many people they aim to recruit, or even the new business the bank might be branching into. Off note though, pick your sub " Isn't it interesting that Fidelity called you yesterday morning, you kept mute, then another is called and decides to share the information that he was called, you then want him to share what was discussed with him" you sef think am. I done think am, what next? They should have in Lagos and Abuja for sure...I saw something like a TS class on my test day. MD or DMD? If I know MD, I won't be here oo If na 40 per session as someone here claimed. So, 6 HR regions will share 40slots in each session? Jungle done mature be that and you na expect someone to tell you he was called |

Okpanwu: Waoooo! am just hearing it for the first time, in all my research, I have not come across it, does it mean dat the said bank can recruit abt 400-500 graduate trainee staffs in a year? ask well, maybe those staffs are contract and supporting staffs whom are giving penny at de end of the year. if its GT staffs, I doubt if any bank can recruit more dan 300 in a year. I stand to be corrected sha. thanks for ur info. I am not ready to mention the name, but my cousin is currently in one of the TS. You should ask well, stop acting like you're Godwin Emefiele...Staff is plural, nothing like staffs . Let's all take note. |

I know banks that take more than 150 a batch. I know a bank that has 4 TS running concurrently in Lagos alone, with each class taking up to 40 trainees. Fidelity has HR in Enugu, PH, Kano, Abuja, Lagos and Ibadan. You do know each of this HR regions, most times have training schools. A place like Lagos should have more than one TS. Except you're implying each region doesn't have a TS or each TS class can take not more than 30, which I doubt, then it has to be way more than 150. Everyone can not enter at once, but I disagree with the 150 claim. Make people no go get high bp... timoddy: But my International passport has my correct date of birth..Only my waec result has a wrong date..How do I change it please I know someone that had this same issue and when WAEC was yet to correct it 2days to his interview. He went to get a birth certificate from NPC with the erroneous date, that's because it was the day that was wrong not the year! Got a quick DL in the new date, now he sticks to the date WAEC dashed him. |

jswagg4: Well, Fidelity may be different, but usually, the last stage is with H.R in Lagos after which is Documentation, Medicals and resumption of training school for the successful ones( I pray God favours us to be selected). My interview was fine. Had to disappear sharply. I was pressed and needed to use a toilet! I don't think it's just Fidelity o, most banks have HRs and EDs in every region these days. They handle their regions, no need going to Lagos. They most times post successful candidates within the region they handle too. Best wishes... |

timoddy: Wasn't allowed to go in for the interview today because the date on my WAEC certificate didn't tally with the one on my birth certificate. See ehhn if u don't have a valid means of I'd like international passport, Lassra or National I'd card (original not the paper) dont bother going cos she (the HR) won't allow you go in for the interview.. One other guy used expired international passport, she didn't allow too..No matter how much u beg she won't allow!!! Be warned!!! Get all ur documents and swear an affidavit to correct those ones that dont tally with the other documents. It would have cost you less than N1500 to do a birth certificate that will tally with your WAEC cert. From the time you wrote test to the interview date was more than enough, yet you decided to carry it there and tempt the devil... next time, think fast or ask questions. Why do you all keep coming for test, with those conflicting age and hoping for a miracle? ?? |

Please dash this small girl sense.
Where in that comment did I imply that rape is desirable UNDER any circumstance? I just used that example to paint a picture in his head, on how undesirable rape is. Rape is unwanted, hence why I said that the rapist chooses you but you don't choose her.
But your brain power is low, you will not understand the message I was passing to him, to discard that thought of wanting to get raped I didn't read this rubbish... |

You cannot understand simple English?
I said indeed, he does not want to be harrassed, and just used that as an example How can any guy WANT to be sexually harrassed biko?
If you have experienced it, you will not wish that for your enemy JeffreyJamez: I knew one olodo will pick on that illustration.
Just see how these girls are shamelessly trying to justify male sexual harrassment....Very disturbing. You are very very senseless but have no one to tell you. What is justification about that post? That illustration is wrong! If you didn't understand my question then ask questions and stop showing your stupidity. In case you still don't get it, that question is like saying "would you want an ugly fat man to rape you?" Nobody will desire rape, irrespective of the offenders physical look...! I know you still won't get it, dumb men. |

Nchabuomo: And that's the issue ... The information flow has being distorted. I'm not against the Whatsapp group or anything. But I know when I got the invite I searched Nairaland for information and got nothing tangible, I felt confused and abit vulnerable. Take for example the KPMG trend it has stood the test of time, I know how many times I need information and I just come here and search. From visa application tips, to romance, to general life issue, it's really comforting to have a reference point. Sharing tips here is great and I see nothing wrong in that. People can always make use of the information... There is no need for things to be shredded in unnecessary secrecy. After this batch recruitment what happens to the Whatsapp group? Kaput....all the information, all the tips, all the reference down the drain. Honestly I don't think any HR or Top executives checks nairaland as a professional reference point. They might be a member of the forum but that's as far as it goes. Fidelity has being using Gmat 2007 since God knows when, do you think they care that we know? Did knowing were the questions would come from make everyone to pass? Same way sharing tips or experience publicly wouldn't make everyone pass. Please my own is let's keep this forum active. Correct guy... |
