That's Pastor Ayo Success(Sorry I couldn't get a better shot), I'm one of those gullible Nigerians, God knows I try hard to trust those that come in the name of the lord. . Today I boarded a bus from Iyana Ipaja to Berger(in my mind I was still wondering how a graduate would conduct a bus in Lagos State), . Immediately the bus took off, the man in the picture started a church service. . I was enjoying the mobile church service until he started blackmailing us emotionally, the height of it was when he said he visited Igbobi 2weeks ago, said there was an amputee that desperately needed a wheel chair, after bleeding us emotionally, Nigerians started donating. . I naturally would be tempted to join the donation except I was hearing the exact same story, from the same man, on the same route, for the second time (months apart). . I was really mad, I developed instant stomach ache, I could not challenge him, mama told me to respect elders, so I got his name, number and photo. . 08062473383 Pastor Ayo Success. . If truly John Doe needs help, let's call and see what can be done, but if not! abeg Mr Ayo Success should be arrested and made to face the full wrath of the law. . I'm JIDE KOL.

waywardpikin:No, I didn't mention a course, I'm just using myself as example. People study a few other courses that are not very much sought after. I studied economics na and I'm pleased. |
My thoughts as a prospective Corps member, six months after P.O.P, I still feel the same way, may be because I've not secured a job sha. *National* *Youth* *Service* *Craze* . A sharp August salute for our fathers, who in their quest to achieve national reconciliation and enhance nation building, birthed the NYSC scheme after the Civil war. . *The* *National* *Youth* *Service* *Corps* NYSC scheme, was established in Nigeria on 22ND May 1973 by the then Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon, who promulgated the NYSC decree 24 in 1973 which stated that the NYSC is being established "with a view to the proper encouragement and development of common ties among the youths of Nigeria and the promotion of national unity". . . Now speaking sarcastically "the nation has been reconciled" *yinmu*, I just don't want to be posted to the north as a call to service in the deep north will detonate a bomb of worries in my mother's heart before the Boko guys even reach my area . . As I await service I have the following questions on my mind... . . 1)How do I teach children? as I studied Economics not Economics Education, i absolutely have no teaching practice experience. Naturally i'm a shy person, *my hands on my face* Lol. . . 2) What job will I do after my service year, knowing that admission challenge has frustrated me into studying a not too marketable course like... i dare not mention any course of study, else they come after me as if say na lie. . . 3)How do I cope during service year as my Allowance is just 19k and I have to draw a distribution plan for the miguel amount in one strange land (considering the current economic woes) that God will show me .*kai I don turn Moses Chai diaris God oooo* . . 4)Where will I even be posted? what will I gain from that land? and what will I give to the land? *its a question for my Oga At The Top* winks. . . 5)What have I ever benefited from any copper? Okay yes some male coppers are posted to secondary schools where they benefit from teenage girls. Some of you know what I mean...*Now scratching my goatee* hmmm That's another issue. . . 6)After this 365 days honeymoon with the Federal Government, WHAT NEXT? I might call God if he doesn't call me... there are no jobs men. . . 7)Now the big question, WHAT IS THE BENEFIT of this bogus investment to the country at large? *Now I sip a glass of water and edit my looks to mean serious* a question for everyone to answer. . . Am in charge here so let's have order in the house or you will be shown the door #Gbam. . . I hereby move a motion (online) as usual. . . *National* *Youth* *Skill* *Program* We will still wear the brown Khaki like prisoners we don't mind, we will still wear safety boots like Mine workers we don't mind oo, we still wear white shorts like police recruits still we don't mind,we will wear your otondo cap, in fact we will obey the camo guys as discipline is an integral part of any organization, we will spend one year of our lives on the program (if you wish). . . But while enduring all of these let's not go to class but to camps where we will not teach but be taught some marketable skills and let the 19k be cumulated and paid during the P.O.P(Freedom). . . If I pass through this kind of program, my brothers and sisters I might not wait until am employed by the banking sector(wey I no even like) or government parastatals(where corruption is official) or manufacturing sector which is tantamount to slavery or communication sector where I don't have a strong reference to get employed. . . I might just start my own business with what I have learnt, even if I find myself abroad I will not beg, push drugs, prostitute or do anything illegal I will do legit business by marketing my skills. . . You know that's a way to develop an economy where every youth can contribute to the GDP of this populous black nation. . . Gentlemen of the Social media, young people of my generation, if we know this truth then we can bear it everywhere we go. . . My thoughts as a prospective 2015 Batch A Corps member. Ehen where is my premier cool, close up and towel. Yio dara fun yin. BABA KOL... An Ordinary Nigerian. (Movement Of Ordinary Nigerians) #IAMMOON.

Everyone is talking about the other room, kitchen and living room comment. I'm more disturbed about, 'I don't know which party my wife belongs to'. Now that's disturbing because I feel the husband should know, even if he allows her to freely associate. Aisha was talking Nigeria in the interest of Nigerians, looking at the cabinet structure of her Party(APC). Mohammad in his myopic state(apologies, your excellency), was not seeing beyond his space I mean himself, his living room, his kitchen, his other room and at most his party. I mean Buhari probably feels her presence in APC is occasioned by his, as far as I'm here she should be here (it means the woman did not choose APC out of her volition) and she knows not what she is saying, that was Mr president's arrogant psychology, (Apologies! Your excellency) so she has no right to speak... With these few points of mine, based on the psychological analysis of Mr President postulation I wish to summit that there is no democracy in the home of our president. Just like the Chibok girls, our first lady is in captivity... Who will rescue her now ooo... #BringBackOurFirstLady Anyone that wants to argue should bring it on.

Reading people's reactions on this thread, trust me I respect people with opposing opinions, it doesn't change our brotherly inheritance. I'm waiting for facts on why Biafra will work, I'm waiting for details, other than sentimental conviction (which will only get you incarcerated or worse), let's keep it up, I'm Nigerian to the core and I want things to change too, maybe it can herald a new nation for us too (Oduduwa Republic). But Frankly, as it stands now, I don't think the agitation is carrying any weight. |
Reasons why Biafra can't work. Ojukwu was a military governor, Kalu is a bloody civilian. Biafra was a safe haven for the ruthless massacre of the Igbo's in the North(a pinch of revenge), Biafra is no longer a safe haven but has been relegated to militancy. Ojukwu was already an authority accepted by the eastern region as leader and France knew this, but Kalu has not been generally accepted as a leader of the supposed Biafran nation. There was one state with one governor(Ojukwu), Now there are at least 5 states with 5 governors(South East alone ooo). The then powers in the east supported(Kaduna Nzeogu, Alex Madiebo, Ifeajuna, Philip Effiong...), Abeg which Governor/Senator can openly support Biafra? at least I'm sure not our dear Willy Obiano(Respect). Odimegwu Ojukwu- Alma mater: CMS Grammar School, Lagos King's College, Lagos Epsom College Lincoln College, Oxford University Eaton Hall. (Let's not even start with his father's profile) Nwannekaenyi Nnamdi Kenny Okwu Kanu(Lets read about him) Citizenship: Nigerian, British(even Wikipedia has not recognized his Biafran Citizenship) Alma mater: University of Nigeria Nsuka Occupation: Activist, Radio director, Freedom fighter. Known for: Political activism Notable work: Radio Biafra. Before you can lead a revolution, you must be an accepted authority in your choosen field. Let's check this out. Mahatma Gandhi was not just the son of a Minister but was an English Barrister. Martin Luther King Jnr was a religious authority. Nelson Mandela- Born into a royal family, studied law in the University of Fort Hare and the University of the Witwatersrand, so he was an established authority. Even Fela Anikulapo Kuti, first established himself as an authority in music and accepted by many before he started talking about presidency. My point is, everyone that wants to fight for freedom must first liberate himself, even Christ followed the same principle as he taught in the synagogue as a child thereby first establishing himself as an authority in the scriptures before performing miracle on the Sabbath day. Nnamdi Should first become an Icon in his field first(journalism). Ojukwu was first a Governor and had political power to wield. I will join Biafra when Jiddena(Classic Man), Kanu Nwakwo(Papilo), Willy Obiano(Anambra State Governor, the home of the lion of Ikemba). when these people join IPOB, then their struggle will hold water, else the federal government should just release Nnamdi and let him go home and rest, he has done enough publicity. Biafran struggle was Brought In Dead(B.I.D). God Bless Nigeria.

I Sent this mail to HB with no reply, we need answers before we land ourselves in trouble, anyone please help. Heritage Bank staffs were avoiding questions yesterday, they directed us to their online portal and they are not here today NYSC/CBN staffs has no anwers. My name is Kolawole Babajide, I am a participant at the ongoing YIEDP training, We have a few questions here at the Enugu training centre which has been articulated in this mail, it would be appreciated if we can get an immediate response from your team before the end of the training. -If the loan will be disbursed in instalments, how will the interest rate be paid, I.e will I be paying interest rate on the full capital(3,000,000) when I'm only credited with part capital. -We were informed that the interest rate will be compound, what method will be applied? reduction method or flat rate? -They also told us that the interest rate is 9% per anum, that's 270,000 per year ooo, is that not roughly 27% in total? Which is the average commercial bank interest rate, is there a reason to proceed? Abi what's the point traveling from Lagos to Enugu for the program when I can simply go to UBA or GTB in Egbeda for the same offer? -Please help forward a sample calculation of expected responsibility of beneficiaries for proper clarifications. using N3,000,000 as an hypothetical example. Abeg any loan specialist here on nairaland? Please you'll be saving close to 1500 youths waiting to either succeed or be slaughtered. Please!

Please I studied economics, I have a 2:1, I'm 28 and I entered for DSSC without proper information, Now I want to convert to SSC, I think DSSC will be boring, what can I do? Is there a bright side of DSSC? If I'm shortlisted, can I convert? Anyone help out please, I'm bothered. |
Well, I'm not a law practitioner and I might not understand the judicial implication of an unbalanced scale, but as a social engineer and an advocate for social justice, equity and fairness, I think this would mean social injustice, inequality, partiality and unfairness, custodians and students of that faculty can feel free to school me if I'm wrong and help illuminate my ignoramus submission. I did not just come on social media to rant and seek for cheap attention(I have better things to do with my almost used up 1GB data plan). I need to state my effort towards salvaging that shamefacedness in my community, I was in that court on Tuesday 22nd DEC 2015, I spoke with at least 4 employees 1 regular visitor and 1 visiting clergy man, on the need to see to the correction of that totem ASAP, in a bid to uphold the symbol of justice on this side of the Niger, well i was ridiculed but trust me I didn't leave the place until I got a promise to fix the totem from the maintenance department, yet unfixed as we speak. Now i think this ridicules our judicial system as this can only be compared to a cross with one arm broken in church, or a star carrying the moon in a mosque, that would not and can not happen for more than a few minutes if it would happen at all. This nonchalance has gone on for too long, I hope barristers and law students get to see this and contact appropriate authorities from the top to save our face from this shame. God bless you and God bless The Federal Republic of Nigeria. We shall overcome. signed Kolawole Babajide for; Movement Of Ordinary Nigerians. ![]()
