Politics / **** Sharia Court and It Relationship With Kidnapping Child Brides by jidestar: 7:22pm On Mar 05, 2016
**** Kidnap is a very serious offence and when it is done for sexual gratification, it is a heinous crime.

The Sharia court is a form of customary court to the North. In that sense, it has no jurisdiction to hear cases of people not part of that culture.

It is like a Igbo customary court hearing the case of a Yoruba, claiming they have converted to Igbo.

Custom refers to origin and ancestral linage, if a person does not have their roots in islam the Shairia court has not grounds to hold or hear any case.

The Sharia system was introduced for people who customarily have followed the religion of islam.

It is illegal and unconstitutional to steal peoples child and claim forced conversion to islam, as a bases To Molest and forced marriage, without any form of consent.

What century are we living in?

Is It Worth Sharing A Country With Northern Muslim Babarians?

Abduction and Rape of Southern children in the North by men old enough to be their Grandfather?

What kind of animals are we claiming one with? Kidnap is a very serious offence and when it is done for sexual gratification, it is a heinous crime.

What century are we living in, or are the North cursed to remain backward? Why drag us Christian southerners into uncivilised and criminal customs?

Why are u stealing our children and raping them? Is sharing a country a crime? Can u not face and marry your muslim children?

OP! that is just common sense but the administrators of the court are deliberately using the institution power for rape and abduction of southern children.

You were probably sleeping when Jonathan was in power.
No other president turned national security into a joke than Jonathan.
Heck , that man was the king of ethnic militias

Jonathan is still in Aso Rock? How can we move forward with backward mindset like this?

If u want to marry Jonathan, go to Bayelsa like Yunusa did, maybe Jonathan will follow u.

I dont discuss ex-president and if i did, we will be here all Night becos Nigeria problem is a historical problem.

We will name every single Nigeria leader and how dey contributed. If anything Jonathan was part of the solution and not the problem .

Buhari is ordering for the murder of those he perceive as enemy based on his islamic disposition.

That is threatening the peace of this country. That is wat we are discussing.

I have read the article and there is no falsehood. The falsehood is people trying to pretend that all is well in Nigeria since Buhari took office.

Let it be known that for the first time in the history of Nigeria Governance we are witnessing protesters from both South and North against the brutal dictatorial regime of Buhari. No government in the History of this country have prove protest from North and South.

Are those Northerners protesting IPOB? From Kano to Kaduna, from Benue to Kogi, Anambra, to Abia. From Rivers to Bayelsa, Delta, Ondo and Ekiti. The protest is wide and spread.

They are all shouting, "Fulani Army are murdering us" and Buhari remains mute. That could be interpreted as a silent approval of the murders and signal to his kins men to continue with the murders.

Nigeria and Nigerians have never had it this bad.

The way Fulani murder Nigerians in their villages and community is something to worry about.

Meanwhile Nigeria Army continue murdering armless civilians, whilst fulani foreigners all the way from mali murder Nigerians

Gbawe:

The central point is that Kanu has formed a lawless and anarchic movement, like Boko Haram, capable of fermenting trouble for Nigeria if not checked. I call Kanu and his IPOB followers lawless and anarchic because of how they went about their agitation. I personally have no issues with the Igbos getting their Biafra nation. The right to self-determination is not the problem. While agitating for such, you must not do so promoting the ideas that others, mainly the Yoruba and Hausa/Fulani" are demons to be exterminated via deliberately and deceitfully selling them as the main threat standing in the way of a "free Biafra".

Indoctrinating impressionable minds with falsehood is dangerous. This is what is mainly responsible for terrorism as we know it today and someone like Buhari, because of his background, understands this. Kanu has said and done enough for the Buhari government to believe he is a 'Pied piper' who can lead others to become a security threat against Nigerian lives and property. We all saw this with IPOB members promising to kill any Yoruba pastor that defies Kanu's order for them not to set foot in Igboland. I don't see how you cannot appreciate that this is unacceptable and that the FG is left with no choice but to act firmly and decisively.

Whilst I have no choice but to concur that incitement should be an Offense, It is imperative we note and acknowledge numerous instances that well placed individuals in the fabric of our nation have made outburst that have cost many their lives.

This includes Buhari call for the Dogs and the Baboon to be soaked in blood that subsequently led to killing of corpers in 2011 post election violence. I will not go further in making that list longer.

I believe in due process and rule of law. If their is a case to be made for incitement of violence then that should be for the Court to decided. We cannot Judge a man guilty before he has even had a fair trial.

This is something yourself and the judge share.

Gbawe:

Have you been following events? Why insult the judge and question his ability when he is totally correct about Kanu? Is Kanu not the same individual who said Yoruba pastors must not step in Igboland to preach? Do you know the implication of that announcement? First of all, in a sovereign State, Kanu, like Boko Haram, is trying to impede the freedom of movement of others when he has no right or authority to do.

Secondly there is proof Kanu incited others dangerously with that announcement because members of IPOB pledged to kill Yoruba pastors for kanu if they set foot in Igboland. Thirdly, asking others not to set foot in Igboland means Kanu is assuming the Presidency of a mythical State within Nigeria. The real President and legitimate Government therefore is duty bound to show Kanu that all Igbo States are still part of Nigeria and must obey the laws and constitution of Nigeria.

This is not the GEJ Government where the terrorist group Boko Haram controlled territory others could not set foot in. Under this government, neither Kanu, Boko Haram or anyone else will be allowed to act like a breakaway state or territory. That is just one example and I don't even need to give more where Kanu threatened other Nigerians and declared a readiness to fight Nigeria and Nigerians. Bottom line is that, as they say in the UK, the FG and the legal system of Nigeria has Kanu "bang to rights". The fool talked and threatened himself into serious trouble to the extent it is very, very easy to make a legit case for denying him bail.

Thank u brother Gbawe for your contribution but as highlighted you provided the rebuttals for your own claim.

The first question here is whether any Igbo, Yoruba or hausa man have the right to advocate independence from Nigeria?

This is the central issue and with regards to the threats u rightly noted that Kanu had no authority to enforce them. Freedom of speech does not discriminate from threat. A threat is not a crime. Since his arrest have the Nigerian Government found him with any weapons or Army? He is just a guy with an opinion, just like me and you.

Biafra is an online state so why lock an individual up for something mythical as u say? That don't make sense.

You are correct. The MB people know what awaits them if the Igbos successfully pull out of Nigeria and the country breaks. They are like a buffer zone between the core north inhabited by jihardists/almajiris and the South.

Look at what the fulani invading demons are doing to the MB inside the One Nigeria now imagine what will happen if Nigeria should fall apart. The fulanis would swiftly swoop in on them and use them as slaves while their vast lands will become grazing fields for fulani cattle.

This is the reason why the likes of omenka can eat toilet paper buhari has used to clean his yansh and still shout "Yes Sir! Sai baba!"

Just look at this Kanu's case, the hausa/fulani wanted to use Yoruba to sentence Kanu but the Yoruba quickly passed the ball. They then turned to their slaves being omenka's people to deny Kanu bail. These same MB are being systematically exterminated by the fulani invaders from fouta jalon being the fourth deadliest terror group in the world today.

When will the MB learn? Even the Yorubas do not want to be associated with sentencing Kanu...

U want me to school u on sophisticated politics? Middle belters are kids. Even though we don't agree with Nnamdi, we want to be blame free on this one, we are tired of blames.
