Not exactly.
Amazon have over $30 billion in unused gift cards. Liability.
Now even when a gift card is redeemed, until it is actually spent it does not count as revenue, but still a liability. So I do not see how closing accounts with unspent balances adds to Amazon's Net worth.

Always check that the number on the profile/signature matches the number on whatsapp.

Always ask for quotes from that moniker( they can be 'hacked' of course, but that is a story for another day).
